The staff was very friendly and helpful. I think that they had a camera installed in the smoke detector in the room. There was also an odor in the hallway... on the second floor of the Hotel. We were looking for a reasonable place to stay on our way to the Gulf Coast for Spring Break. Not only was the room clean, the bed was comfy, and the included breakfast was excellent (bacon, eggs, biscuits and fravy, and delicious homemade cinnamon rolls!). Great wat to start our vacation.

This would have been a better review if the hotel had told us their spa tub was under maintenance. I had booked this hotel because they had one, it was a big selling point. But it just shows you before you book online call ahead to make sure they have everything running. The only complaint I had it that the wireless was non-existant even though it was advertised. I also tried to plug the lan cable in the room in and didn't get internet. One time I tried I got 1 bar of service and was able to authenticate but then the signal dropped. I even tried in the lobby and nothing. Glad I brought my aircard.

Overall, I think this hotel is overpriced. It is a newer hotel, built within the last 4 years, but it looks very worn. I think they used the cheapest contractors available. You can tell in small areas such calking in the bathroom. Also, we had a jacuzzi tub in our room that did not work.

The omly problem we had was that the TV would not get closed caption and my daughter-in-law and granddaughter are hearing impaired so they could not watch TV. We had someone come up to the room but they were unable to get it to work either.
