My girlfriend and I stayed at Adagio in Caen Centre while I was on a week-long business trip in town. The studio room was perfect for us because it gave us a kitchen in which to cook for ourselves part of the time, instead of eating out every meal. There are a couple grocery stores within easy walking distance, one just outside the hotel entrance. The staff was very friendly, spoke English well, and helped us out anytime we needed it. The location couldn't be better: right on the Orne River within a short walk of restaurants, shopping, nightclubs and city attractions. Highly recommend!

We loved staying here - the location was very convenient and close to the center of town. The couple that owns this hotel was extremely friendly and helpful, our room was clean and comfortable, and the price was reasonable. All in all, a great stay.

We had a stopover on the way to Normandy and this is a good choice. Clean and well placed. Down near a harbor and on Sunday there is a huge market out front. Use the parking (10EU) as it solves a lot of issues. Breakfast is ok. There are restaurants nearby but we did not use them. Also see the Caen D-day museum first, it is the best one and you can skip some of the others.

By European standards, the room was quite comfortable. The hotel staff all spoke English & could not have been more helpful. They went above & beyond! The biggest complaint I have about the hotel is that the hallways were extremely dark.

Room was clean, very small. Heater did not work in one room. Bed not terribly comfortable. If you just want an inexpensive, clean room to sleep in this is it. If you want anything more than that you'll want to keep looking. Really nothing more than a futon like bed and a shower.

It's not the Ritz, but it is clean, economical option. Tiny, but very neat rooms. One design flaw: Light went on automatically when you open bathroom door, which can be problem for other person in room with middle-of-night visits. Convenient location -- if you don't get lost on numerous roundabouts (which are rare in the USA). Staff was helpful.

All in all, a pretty goodbuy for your vacation dollar. The room was small for us, but that was accounted for by the fact that we opted for the room with 2 twin beds. On the other hand, the room was quite comfortable and very clean. The only negative we had for the hotel, was actually for the restaurant. The waitress for our table (both nights) left […] us feeling rushed! It was a case of "Hello, welcome, what do you want, here's your hat, next time don't stay so long"! The food was excellent, well prepared and presented, but the dining experience was ruined by this hyper waitreess. The Bayeux tapestry is very closeby, the invasion beaches a little further afield, but close enough if you are travelling by car. We managed the catherdral at Falaise, and the tapestry in the same day. The Falaisw cathedral is distant, but worth a visit, and the tapestry is not to be missed! We would stay at the property again, but would dine elsewhere. Read more

A very pleasant stay. Room small but very modern and had all the essentials. I would have liked to have seen coffee / tea making facilities in room as very expensive from machine down the hallway. Apart from this however, very satisfied with everything, and would certainly recommend.

The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and spoke a lot better English than we did French! Ideally located to a good Steak restaurant who have English menus! Billigt och bra hotell när man snabbt ska vidare. Vi kom sent och var trötta . Hotellet var bättre än vi trodde . Helt ok frukost!. Mycket bra hotell till billigt pris.

les prestations hotelières étaient très correctes.L'hotel est bien situé à proximité d'un restaurant. La ville de Bayeux est en accès direct ( environ 5 minutes en voiture).

Quelques petites difficultés pour le trouver, préciser "chemin du loup" sur le gps! Hôtel de construction récente. Avantage, se trouve juste à côté d'un restaurant "courte paille" qui simplifie les choses. Le personnel est charmant et à l'écoute. Quelques petits soucis au niveau des sanitaires sans gravité mais à revoir rapidement (surtout les chambres […] paires d'après ce que j'ai compris)! je n'hésiterai pas à retourner à cet hôtel si le besoin se présentait à nouveau près de Bayeux. Propreté irréprochable Salle de bain spacieuse ( normes accessibilité PMR oblige) mais pour le coup un peu froide manque part douche pour créer une intimité, patères pour serviette et bain et vêtement, et sèche cheveux

Nous avons été très satisfaits de notre séjour à Etap Hotel Bayeux et nous reviendrons. La chambre était bien insonorisée, le matelas super et tout ce qui va avec !! La douche et les toilettes étaient propres, rien à redire : c'était PARFAIT !!

Udmærket hotel til prisen (for 3 personer), rent, pænt med de nødvendige faciliteter, når man primært skal værelset til at overnatte i. Beliggenheden er god, idet man bor tæt på den hyggelige by Bayeux med det berømte Bayeux-tapet.
