We made a last-minute booking at the Auberge de Cassagne in the midst of an arduous three-week business trip. We both needed to unwind a bit, and the on-premise Spa provided great opportunities for that. We had initially booked a conventional double room, but perhaps since it was the off-season, we were upgraded to a Junior Suite upon arrival. The staff was charming and accomodating, with great suggestions for activities and indulgences during our stay. Highly recommended!

Great location, very nice staff and lovely room. The hotel is well located. Treat your self and get a room with a view of the valley. The room has french windows that give you a great view. The hotel has a very good resteraunt (not opened every night) a nice bar and serves a very good breakfast.

While this hotel is a few km outside of Nimes downtown, it was easy enough to get there, but does require a car. The staff were very friendly, helpful and available. The breakfast, at 10 EUR, may have been a little overpriced (tea/coffee, juice, bread, some cheese and a salami), but was still quite nice. The shower had a hand-held wand with no way to attach, so this was less then desirable. Still, the location was good, and staff great, and we would stay there again.

Nice hotel in a quiet location, although a car is preferable to reach the centre of Villeneuve-les-Avignon. We stayed in a room on the top floor of the main house and found it very comfortable. The room had old beams and brickwork showing which added to it's appeal. Our room was up a few flights of stairs which wasn't a problem for us as we were traveling […] light. Only downside was that there wasn't a shower curtain round the bath which made it difficult to use the shower without getting the floor wet. Read more

Hôtel confortable, cadre agréable, excellent accueil, très bonne cuisine. N'étant pas venus en voiture, nous redoutions des difficultés pour rejoindre Avignon, mais en fait il n'en a rien été : un arrêt de bus proche et une fréquence satisfaisante nous ont permis de faire des allers retours rapides pour visiter sans problèmes la cité des papes.
