      We enjoyed our overnight stay. We were there to attend a wedding on the boat so it was very nice to just walk the stairs to go and come. The room is smallish but comfortable. A small TV (26") is stowed away in a hutch, kind of cute. No closet, just the hutch. The bed is level, though the floor is slightly tilted. The bathroom is small but clean. The shower is also small. It has a rustic feel to it. It seemed that when the wedding reception dancing started, the boat was rocking a bit, but stopped when it ended. It was VERY quiet at night once all the activity stopped in Old Town Sacramento.

    Waited 10 minutes for the hotel manager to wake up to check me in, and then was checked into a single room after verifying that I would get a double. Only stayed one night but will not recommend this hotel to anyone I know.

    From the outside, it doesn't look like much, which, in general, it isn't. But the rooms, aren't bad. They're clean. Somewhat comfortable. The satellite to the TV didn't work, so no morning news. No one answers the phone at the office when you discover it doesn't work. So, it's okay. It might be worth the price.

    This hotel is in a somewhat scary location. The owners live in the lower portion of the hotel and even they lock the door at night. The police visited a few times during my stay and I got harassed by at least one person 'hanging out' around the area during the day. Despite that, the room had all new remodeling, furniture, and appliances, although the […] bed sheets could have been cleaner. Free continental breakfast was pretty scant. The internet in my room went out once during my stay, but there is a computer in the office you can use during the day. If you are willing to bear the bad neighborhood, it is a deal....but I would not recommend walking around the area by yourself at night. Read more

    The hotel was clean, except the carpet looked a little old. The fridge and microwave in the room were great! We asked for a king bed but got a queen, which was a little disappointing. A noisy neighbor or two, but that can happen anywhere. Breakfast was on the light side. Overall it was a nice place to stay. The owner was really great!

    The manager ( owner? ) was very polite and helpful, as were the staff. The room was clean and tidy- the elevator was a tad quirky, no ice machine, but lots of nearby groceriy stores and places to eat - Sandra Dee's BBQ is just a couple of blocks away, and quite tasty !
