Service was excellent as always. The room was quiet, bed and linens comfortable, and getting around is easy. The immediate area is nothing but offices, but a five minute drive south to Diehl road results in a cinema, shops, and plenty of restaurants. I have stayed at this hotel before and will do so again.

I was happy with the decor; friendly, attentive staff; offerings and the fact that they seem to be geared toward being earth-friendly (with their safe soaps, shampoos and conditioners and offering to clean the bed sheets fewer times during your stay). The rooms were efficiently designed to accommodate any type of stay: if you need to do work, if you […] want to lounge and read, if you want to watch something on the tv via your computer, etc. It seems like they had it all: conference/meeting rooms, restaurant 24/7, free breakfast and wi-fi, bar, pool and everything you would need right in your room. Really like the contemporary look. Very sleek and clean. All the amenities you need done nicely. Good place to stay for business out in the western suburbs. Not convenient if you want to go downtown. Everything you need for restaurants etc in nearby Naperville.

Overall, everything about our stay was superb. This was a five star experience. My wife and I are seniors, so it helps to have everything in the room operating properly. The bathroom door did not shut easily and was so close to the toilet that you had to push hard on the door in order for it to close properly. We visited the hotel for our kids to have a fun night on spring break. We spent about an hour at the pool, went out for dinner, then came back to the hotel and were laughing at our 3 year old being silly when we received a phone call for noise at around 8:00pm. We didn't have the TV on or any other devices. Just 4 people laughing and a noise complaint? […] Walls must be very thin. Not a great feeling when we were trying to enjoy a fun night. It dampered our mood and we will not be staying again because of the reaction. Also there was a strange odor in our room and at check out there was confusion on which room we stayed in overnight. My family became fans of Hyatt Place a couple of years ago when we discovered a location in the Lombard area while staying there for a family wedding. So, we've stayed there about 3 or 4 times and look for it whenever possible. The first thing I noticed about this location was the service at the front desk was more rude than I was accustomed to with […] Hyatt. Robert the manager, Ashley and another Ashley at the counter basically ganged up on me when I said that they didn't need to add my credit card for incidentals because we wouldn't be charging anything. One of the Ashleys told me that was standard policy, which I knew was not true because neither of my previous stays required this. Also, the manager was more concerned with keeping up appearances than helping anyone. I stood waiting for a check-in, but he looked at me twice and ignored me. I would have used the check-in kiosk that they normally have, but it was around the corner and not by the door where it usually is. There was also no signage pointing it out. Finally, breakfasts were adequate, but they were short-staffed on both Saturday and Sunday mornings and had trouble keeping coffee filled, food on the buffet, and clean silverware available. The room was also slightly smaller than we've had in most stays and there wasn't a microwave in the room like we've had before. It was good for the most part, but I guess we have just been spoiled in the past by other Hyatt Place locations. Read more

My son and I stayed here the night before our flight out of Midway. The hotel is modern, clean, has a good fitness center, big t.v., good service, great location. It only took us about 25 minutes to get to Midway in the morning. I stay at a lot of hotels and this is a good one.

Besides the nice roomy suites, the best part was the complimentary hot breakfast. Everything from a cook making the best french toast ever, to a bacon, egg, and cheese on a potato flaky biscuit, to fresh fruit and chilled juices. Wow. Very impressed.

First off the hotel is a great place to stay if you are in the Naperville/Warrenville area. Due to a snow storm we were stranded and extra day and the hotel staff could not have been more accomodating. Great people, clean and nice rooms. This is where I will always stay when I am in the area.

Very clean, helpful and polite staff. All of facility was new in appearance and working well. Free wifi and real, tasty food at breakfast buffet. Only issue: as others have reported, floors are not well sound-insulated so you hear noise from room above. Therefore, get top (5th) floor if possible. Otherwise, this is a good choice and a good value.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff is curtious, professional, and pleasant. The rooms exceeded our exceptions in all areas except one, we found the use of the closet to be difficult especially given that we had bulky winter coats. This however, will not prevent us from staying again.

Stayed on 4th floor for one night previously and the people above sounded like elephants - lots of stomping around and jumping. So asked for a 5th floor room when I returned in three days. But when I went to check in 3 days later no rooms were available on the 5 th floor. Was told to contact the front desk if I had any problems. I did. People above […] us were making tons of noise - running, jumping stomping. Called front desk. Noise eventually subsided but it was still loud so I called back. Apparently a mom with a sick child was above us. They finally quieted down by midnight. Staff offered to move us to a room on the 5 th floor but we didn't want to have to move all our stuff. I would not stay here again unless guaranteed a room on the fifth floor. Very poor sound insulation in floor/ceiling. Read more

Your bathtub is very slippery with the soft water and soap when taking a shower. There are no safety strips in the tub. I asked for a bath mat and was told they didn't have one. Nice clean rooms, friendly staff. But need better sound insulation for floors/ceilings - sounded like elephants above us. My husband & I are avid coffee drinkers & this was the worse coffee we've ever had. also we stayed 2 days, the first day there was never any "skillet" food replenished with 45 minutes still left. Kris invesitgated the possibility, and found it would not be possible, but what was impressive was that she went above and beyond by offering other solutions to my problem #i needed a place to keep some beef cold. I choose this hotel as it was the place my son's team was staying at. they had two teams there and they were not welcoming to our swimmers. Most of the front staff was great but one person was terribly rude. There are too many incidences to go into so as an FYI if you are a team go somewhere else. Breakfast was great but they did not keep it stocked […] when the swimmers all were going through. Their "regulars" were also rude and felt they were more important than we were. Absolutely loved this hotel. Kids were headed to the pool and were told someone had an accident and the poll was closed but they quickly shuffled my little swimmers to the hotel right next door.
