The Churchill Hotel is nice, but the new addition, where our room was, is too modern. We thought it would be more old-fashioned, because it's an old manor house. But the old part is limited to 8 luxury rooms that are probably lovely, but are above our price range.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Rooms a bit small but clean and highly functional. Big bonus is access to excellent gym next door. Can be busy near the holiday season as they have a lot of holiday/office parties, but the noise level from the revellers has not been too bad!

This is a well-run hotel. The owners were helpful and patient. My only reservation was that it wasn't possible to get a satisfactory wifi signal, even in the breakfast room. The bedding could be improved as well. I would have no reservation in recommending this hotel however.

My wife and I were more than happy with the hotel. At night it was quiet and restfull and the breakfast in the morning was wonderful. The owners were friendly and hospitable. Parking was a bit tight, but I have a large 4x4 which didn't help. All in all. Great. Thank you.

Catered for every need and hostess was excellent. Although refurbishments were being carried out across the hallway, this however never had a major impact on my stay. Had an excellent stay and would recommend to others.
