We stayed at Moods between 24-28.10.12 and our stay was absolutely amazing! Check-in with warm hospitality of the reception crew (Dominica, Jana, Andrew and Milos!) Comfortable and very equipped room (Safe, Minibar, LED TV with HDMI input...) Hotel is located wonderfully near transportation and the center of Prague! Hotel is very very clean! It was […] like we stepped into a brand new room every day... Breakfast is tasty and served up until 11:30 AM. Every night we sat down with the reception and they helped us in finding places to go, where to eat, shop, directions - all with map sketching and printed timelines of buses/trains... It is also important to mention the SPA - we had an AMAZING Thai massage! We both agreed it was the best one we ever got... To conclude - we had the best honeymoon experience there and would definitely recommend it to our friends or any couple! Read more

Very nice, clean and modern hotel. The staff was terrific and happily answered questions. There is not much in the immediate area aside from a few restaurants but it is only a few block walk to old town. Recommended!

The Hotel was nice looking, stylish, and clean but there were some problems with it. The first night we stayed there I tried to dry my hair with my own hair dryer and the minute I plugged it into the converter in the wall the fuze blew and the power was out for 30 minutes before they came up and switched the power back on by switching the fuze. Furthermore […] the plug didn't work afterwards (and they never fixed it despite requests). When i came home after the trip I discovered my hairdryer had been broken. Also, on several occasions we were woken up by our neighbors (twice at 3am, and once at 5am) by have a slightly elevated conversation and enjoying other activities. They obviously spent a lot of money upgrading and modernizing the building but skimped on the sound proofing/insulation. It was nice to be away from the commotion of the main part of town but with no sound proofing it didn't really matter. The free breakfast wasn't that great so we stuck to the granola. But the service was good and the room was decent and clean... they should have spent less money on modern design and more on upgrading the parts of the hotel that matter. Read more

A great example of a modern boutique hotel. They've managed to do a good amount with the space provided and the interiors were comfortable and pleasant to look at. Rooms weren't massive, but not too small (just enough room for two people in the Superior Rooms). Had a similar vibe to the Hotel Bel-Ami in Paris. Breakfast hours (6:30-11:30) were generous […] and the spread allowed for a solid meal before sightseeing. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was a bit out of the way, though still within the confines of the main destinations of the city. The street is quiet and, truth be told, Moods is the highlight of the immediate area. I'm sure as Prague continues to develop more businesses will open on the street (coffee shop, convenience store, etc). Overall it was just as described; relaxed-hip atmosphere (not much going on there, but felt like a "designer hotel" that\s nicer than any mere "express" hotel. Read more

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at Moods in Prague and we both agree that we would stay there again. The location was walking distance to Old Town Square. In fact, Prague is such an easy city to walk, the hotel location is convenient to everywhere. We only used the metro once during our 5 days in Prague. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful […] and much appreciated. I think the hotel rooms would be much improved with the addition of a full length mirror (a woman needs to see her full outfit before she hits the town), a shower head that attaches to the wall, and a shower curtain to keep the bathroom dry. Overall the hotel was very nicely designed. Service was very good, and the bed was very comfortable (important for resting your tired legs after seeing Prague during the day). The only minor complaint I have is about the bathroom. The shower has what's common in a lot of European hotel bathrooms -- instead of a full shower door or curtain, there's just […] a barely 2 feet long glass on the edge of the tube on the faucet side to minimize the splashing water. Well, it just doesn't work very well. Either you take a freeing shower and make a HUGE puddle on the bathroom floor, or you have to be very careful at showering, cornering yourself into one end of the shower. Breakfast buffet has plenty of options with lots of fresh fruits. Free wifi worked very well and was very important. Read more

Good continental breakfast, even with a few American/Brit things like scrambled eggs. They even had an iPad you could borrow briefly downstairs. I helped an elderly couple figure out something with it. Very nice staff that speaks English well. They had my Ray-Bans when I left them. Even another person left behind his diary and wallet and I heard them […] on the phone. They planned to mail them to the unfortunate fellow. Only downside is typical Euro shower where there's a piece of glass that covers the first third of the shower/tub, so the water sprays out onto the rest of the bathroom unless you're really super-careful. No biggie though. Also, there's a like 3 minute timer on the shower fan. I don't know about you, but my showers last longer. So that was dumb. I also don't need my traveling pal hearing me when I'm on the necessary. Read more

For the most part, we liked our stay; however, there were a few irritants. We stayed in a standard room which was very small -- okay for 2 days but I wouldn't want to have stayed much longer due to its size. We chose this hotel mainly because we liked the chic atmosphere and furnishings. However, there was an annoying humming noise when we turned out […] our lights that didn't go away until we removed our room card from the electrical control (where you have to have it to turn the lights on) which was rather inconvenient as it meant that we couldn't turn a lot on if we awoke during the night. Also, the pillows were very flat so that it gave me sore muscles in my neck and shoulders. Therefore, I decided to get a massage, but unfortunately, my reservation wasn't made and I ended up having to get a shorter one later on. We really enjoyed our stay at Moods Hotel. A very good small boutique hotel in an excellent location; quiet, but very close to all that Prague has to offer. Great modern hotel. Very warm welcome and personal service, we were shown to our room by the charming receptionist. Every time we passed we were greeted and reception staff were very helpful giving us directions, booking taxis etc. The room was small but had everything we needed. Nice white company products in the bathroom. The hotel was only an easy 5 minute walk from the main attractions and on a quiet street- we had a silent few nights and got plenty of sleep. The breakfast was great there was a nice selection my only criticism was the coffee - instant, not my cup of tea so to speak and it suits the hotel more to provide freshly ground coffee- they did but for an extra charge. I would stay again without hesitation and would love to visit Prague again- a beautiful city with a fascinating history. We are glad we discovered this newish small hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful with tips for sightseeing and restaurants. The room was small but nicely furnished with walnut floors, doors and closets. Only gripe would be the lack of floor space and toilet counter space. Breakfast buffet was substantial and nice. We had a most comfortable stay, not least because the bed was deliciously king-sized and very comfortable as the hotel promised. The staff were unobtrusively helpful and encouraged my elementary Czech though they all spoke excellent English.
