1. Spent 4 hours trying to reconfirm bookings (made thru' Expedia) from Mumbai before travel. 2. Refused to accept credit cards - had to argue about legalities. Finally they accepted. 3. No beach towels. Hotel expects that guests should buy towels to take to the beach. 4. Confirmed car booking for sight seeing on 12 / 11 and then said no car on 13/11. 5. The location is good and the accomodation is fair. It appears that the staff are not properly trained either in room service or in other works once the cost of rooms per day is taken into consideration. The hotel is dirty as some new construction is going on. There are too many oworkers compared to the visitors. "The Hotel Sonar Bangla - Puri"
During stay we were made to shift 3 rooms due to water scarcilty. So called continental breakfast was not served except plain paratha and aloo vegitable that too after lot of discussions. Expansion of hotel to 4th floor was in progress hence no cleaniness in the hotel. Stay was difficult and measurable.
