I am a return guest to the Estherea. The hotel is quite enjoyable. One can tell that it is a labor of love on the part of the owner and staff. Some visitors from abroad my find the room size cramped but this is, in my opinion, more of an issue with European hotels and less with the Estherea. The Estherea is in a great location, it is beautifully decorated, the service is excellent and the staff is friendly and professional. I recommend it highly.

The staff was very friendly and helpful! My only suggestion would be to give more detailed instructions on how to arrive from the airport to the hotel. It is not included in the hotel shuttles and we had a hard time finding out how to take the public transportation. Ended up taking a taxi which cost €40. But it is worth the trouble. Very nice hotel and includes a nice breakfast. We would definitely stay again if visiting Amsterdam.

Only stayed here 1 night - it was convenient and cheaper than the airport hotels for an overnight. Right acrosss the street from the central train station (5 minutes walk), 4.40 Euro and <30 minutes to the airport, lots of restauraunts in the area and plenty of shops - conevnient for luggage as well! Free wifi new TV's. Would stay here again.

This hotel is good value for the money. The room was big, clean and we had a great view of the canal. The hotel is very close to tram stations, restaurants and super markets. We would definitely consider this hotel again.

Location.
Located in Amsterdam (Plantage - Eastern Docklands), Hotel Allure is close to Royal Theater Carre, Hortus Botanicus, and Artis. Also nearby are Skinny Bridge and Stopera.

Hotel Features.
In addition to tour/ticket assistance and a garden, Hotel Allure features an elevator (lift). Public areas are equipped with wireless Internet access (surcharges apply). For a surcharge, guests have access to a roundtrip airport shuttle at scheduled times. This is a smoke-free property.

Guestrooms.
The 18 guestrooms at Hotel Allure include laptop-compatible safes and coffee/tea makers. Wireless high-speed Internet access (surcharge) is provided. I stayed at Hotel Allure with my girlfriend for 3 nights recently. We loved it. Whilst its not as close to some attractions as it could have been, there is a metro station only a few minutes away which will get you into centraal very quickly. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was perfectly clean and the bathroom was lovely. We had a couple […] of issues with our keycards not working when we got back late at night but it seemed to be a one-off issue and the staff sorted it out promptly. The location of the hotel is great, it is quiet an in a few minutes you are directly in the old town of Amsterdam. the rooms are much smaller than they seem on the pics, but they are cosy and it has a typical charakter for Amsterdam. Perfect fo a 3-4 day citytrip! We were on a 5 days trip to Amsterdam. The hotel is a bit off the centrum but there is transportation (metro/bus) right by the hotel. But they stop at 12PM. Super dejligt lille hotel, med en helt genial beliggenhed. Blot 2 minutters gang fra Metro. 7 minutter med Metro til Central Station og dermed centrum af Amsterdam. Fint værelse, pænt og rent og helt nyistandsat.. specielt badeværelset var flot og rent. Kan klart anbefales.

Er was geen airco, de minibar was leeg, bij de beschikbare waterkoker waren geen theezakjes of andere benodigdheden. Lidt ensformigt morgenbuffet, men den var inkluderet i prisen i.f.t. mange andre hoteller i amsterdam. Hotellets placering var i det gamle jødiske kvarter, som nu er udpræget universitetsområde, hvilket skabte en del støj fra unge mennesker ude om aftenen. Ellers rigtig godt hotel i nærheden af offentligt transport og seværdigheder.

Bra beliggenhet, bare 3 stopp i fra Central Station. Måtte sjelden vente mer enn 2-3 minutter på t-banen. Og det tok kort tid å komme ned i byen. Hotellet lå også i kort avstand fra t-bane stasjonen. Servicen på hotellet var bra og frokosten også. Vi bodde på et lite rom i 1:e etasje, litt trangt og litt støy fra etasjen over. Men dette er sikkert ikke […] et problem for rom med høyere standard. Litet hotell litt utenfor sentrum av Amsterdam men lett å gå/ta metro eller trikk til sentrum. Rolig område, nyoppusset hotell, enkel men bra frokost. Vi er godt fornøyd med hotellet (helgetur, kun sovet der), kan fint anbefale det videre.
