Hotel is high quality, located in the heart of old town Bordeaux, Centre Ville. Room was spacious by French standards, but they had just painted the bathroom, so the paint fumes were irritating. Helpful, friendly staff.

Good for the price. The ladies working at the reception spoke English and they were nice. The phone was not working in the room but everything else looked good and clean

The location was superb but the hotel was a huge disappointment and we curtailed our stay. The bedroom was tiny, barely clean, poorly maintained - but with nice views. The breakfast was abysmal. The hotel suffered from bad odours from the drains / sanitation....what a shame. It could be magnificent but instead is abjectly poor.

Das Hotel hat eine super schöne, fast einzigartige Lage am Rande der Festung mit Blick auf die Flussmündung (tolle Sonnenuntergänge). Das Hotel selbst ist recht einfach, das dazugehörige Restaurant ist jedoch beinahe ein Gourmet Lokal, sehr schön eingerichtet mit erstklassigem Service nur die Auswahl der Speisekarte ist fast mickrig dagegen (ca. 5 Menus, […] 4 davon mit Fisch).
