The hotel could not have a better location. It is right in the historic walled city, just a few blocks from the wall. The staff is very friendly. They make you a nice breakfast. However, the hotel did not have any hot water. This might be every hotel in the walled city. I don't know. I just know it had none. Otherwise it was a great hotel. Direct TV comfortable bed, I felt totally safe. I left my bags, including my computer with the staff on my last day and I had no problems.

Rooms are uncomfortable and some are unusably small. You can hear your upstairs/downstairs neighbors as if they were in your room. Especially in bathrooms. Not very pleasant. Many rooms do not have outside light. Not particularly clean, either - don't walk barefoot - your feet will be black with soot. Location is convenient to old town but the area […] is not the best - lots of prostitutes and some drug dealers on street corners. We got overcharged on our bill as did our friends. After I pointed out, they corrected but it took a while. Read more

Breakfast was very simple - eggs, fruit, coffee/tea. Room looks very design-oriented but the unique items in the room look tired and need deep cleaning or replaced. A place to put your shower towel near the shower would also be a good idea! Staff were very friendly.

I spent some days in the hotel from April 8th 2013 while visiting Cartagena for business reasons. The hotel staff was very friendly and attentive, the room was clean and had a different atmosphere than the hotels I usually stay in. The food was delicious and it's just a few steps from the beautiful inner city. I'd stay there again any time.

High humidity at this time of the year with thunderstorms making it difficult to walk around in this very old charming area. The Hotel is very quiet and it is in walking distance to all important High Lights.

Magnifique hotel de charme, j'ai pris une Master suite une vue sur la cour supeberbe, chambre spacieuse et salle de douche pour 2 personnes tous simplement grandiose. L'hotel est très calme et le personnel très attentif. Le patron de l'hotel était présent et je dois dire très attentif aux vacanciers.
