Horrible!! Room was outdated, bathroom tub was rusty! bed was hard! mind you this was the second room they gave me cause i SCREAMED about the first hell hole they gave me!! My wife and I really enjoyed the resort hotel accomodations but after that there was nothing else. If you enjoy sitting at the hotel and not doing anything outside of the property this was a great hotel. It is in a remote location in a third world country. The casino is very very small, maybe thirty slots and six card tables. All inclusive food service was good. Good availability at two different buffet locations (that were open, four on the property). The food was of average quality and there was a great variety so no one will go hungry. Beverage service is not self service so you have to wait for someone to go and get your drink and bring it to you except for water and juice. Wifi was terrible. Had to be purchased and then only available in two small locations with very low quality. In one 24 hour period I purchased I could not even send one email. Magic Jack and Skype were out of the question. Cell phone service could be purchased for local use but not at the hotel, you had to hire a taxi or take a but on a 45 minute ride to the nearest town and then try and find a small store. I could find no service to the U.S. other than international rate telephones. All of the staff were friendly. There were many who could communicate in English. Read more

Overall the hotel experience was nice, the room was clean, as well as the grounds. I was just disappointed when I tried to check in to my room at 12pm and had to wait until 3:30 with my bags at the lobby. Staff wasn't as professional as I would have liked, they were too laid back when handling my concerns with no sense of urgency.

Hotel is clean, service in general is very good. Food has room for improvement. Dinning at restaurants is horrible. Food bad and service lacking at restaurant. Pool is nice but beach is not at par with Punta Cana. By the way, hotel is NOT at Punta Cana, it is very far from it. Buffet is good, but dont spect lobster.

The staff and accomodations were ok. The King bed felt like we were sleepin on the floor. The pools and beaches were wll maintained. Didn't care for mechants contantly trying to sell me things. That Friday night there were too many children at the pool.. My wife and I had to move to the beach for peace and quiet.

I've been to different places around Punta Cana and this one is pretty mediocre. The reception desk was largely incompetent, which leaves a very poor impression. The food was also pretty mediocre--it isn't bad but isn't anything to write home about. You only get 2 nights out of 5 at the restaurants, and those were not particularly special. The buffet […] is OK, and actually we preferred it to the restaurants. Service outside of the reception desk was much better. The "Casino" was basically a room with three blackjack tables and maybe a dozen slot machines. The spa was good but not great. By far the best aspects of the trip are the beach and to the slightly lesser extent the pool--one of the best beaches I have been on. All in all, when you go on vacation, you go for where you are going--in this case Punta Cana. PC is a great place to go, and the ocean and beaches are among the best. But the resort could have been much better, has a good opportunity for improvement, and if the service improves, you should be fine with your experience. I do want to note other websites have it listed as a 5 star--it is NOT a 5 star resort. A good rule of thumb is that you get what you pay for. This is good for the price, but don't expect the world. Food was not so good.The buffet had a lot to choose from but most was just okay not great. We were only allowed two reservations for the nicer resturants per week and their food wasn't very good either.We spent a lot of time in the bathroom with upset stomachs from the food. We had read reviews about this hotel only after we booked it and it was too […] late. Most complained about the pool and its overuse of chemichals. We should have listened. My husband and I both broke out in a rash from the pool. We spent the last two days red and itchy. Our room was very clean, however, In the middle of the night a sewer like smell overwhelmed our room through the air conditioning vents. This happened three nights out of the five we were there. I would not stay at this hotel again and for our next vacation I will be sure to read lots of reviews first. Read more

I suggest you avoid this hotel...!!! Its one of the WORST Ive stayed at in my life!! Food court has very POOR quality food and almost got food poisoning from bird crap and dirty utensils/plates. Hotel service was not great (not very responsive; difficult to communicate). We were traveling with a friend who asked for bathrobes (which should have been in her room at check-in) 3 or 4 times and never received them. Her shower was missing a panel that noone seemed to have noticed! The rooms are lovely. The resort itself is just okay.

Good holiday, although the in-room wifi (at surcharge) tended to be unreliable in our building and the promised 'Sea View' we booked actually delivered a somewhat obscured Sea View due to masses of trees and another building being in front of us! Half the staff were friendly and the other half just didn't seem to care. The ground staff (gardeners) also […] had a tendency to eye-follow my wife around and smirk instead of smile, which made us feel uncomfortable. The buffet, beach and activities were all good fun and that's where you tend to find the best staff. Just be warned that for some reason the hotel brings in local sales people twice a week and they line the main route. If you're not familiar with Dominican Republic markets then beware that sales people can be bordering on aggressive and frankly I would not have forced them onto the guests. Also look out for the 'sales pitch' that tries to make you a member of their holiday scheme but won't let you review the contract on your own terms before signing, I'd never trust such a system but at least we got $80 out of it to spend ;). Not that $80 goes far in DMCR, external visits, taxis and trips are all way more expensive than they should be for such a tiny economy. Thailand was better. Read more

Hotel ist nicht auf dem neusten Stand und sehr weit vom Zentrum entfernt. Es braucht aber auch nichts in der Nähe, da im Hotel ziemlich alles geboten wird. Der Strand ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. An was es überhaupt nichts auszusetzen gibt, ist das Personal. Es ist stets hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Si vous êtes ici pour vous relaxer et profiter du soleil, de la mer et de piscine c'est pour vous. Le personel est disponible, sympthique, souriant,... Les boissons sont à volonté et la nourriture est franchement plus que correcte est variée. Nous y sommes allé à 12 et franchement, on a cherché et on a pas trouvé de défaut.
