"Nice small Pension"Reviewed by tarek US of "PA" on Mar 5, 2012
This pension is nice and small. I arrived on 2/26 and stayed for 4 days. Mehmed and Hussein great two people and whom did not let me need anything. If I needed something, it is done. Very nice people.
"Good hotel, great location, overall fine"Reviewed by Ray A of "Miami, FL" on Jan 7, 2012
The hotel at one point must have been very elegant. Our first room was aged and like similar to a motel in the US with leaking air through windows, old carpet, sagging bed. The hotel moved us at our request to a newly rennovated room, quite nice. Sea views are spectacular. Hospitality was good, but do expect a cultural barrier or difference that will strain your patience. Example of this is at the security door check, the locals walk through but the foreigners were stopped and questioned about their rooms and number of guests. While I was fine with it, it was a drag, and other guests were clearly irritated by it. Breakfast buffet was included and pretty nice, free WI-FI also a plus. Pool, gym and sauna very nice, but againt more catered to local clientele guests with subscriptions than visiting hotel guests. While I'd recommend this hotel, there were many others along the waterfront strip that I probably should have looked at.
"Negative point"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Dec 14, 2011
Poor quality and quantity of food: It may be because our travel time was not at the travel season. However we expected much more from a high 5 star all inclusive hotel.

"Definately not a five star hotel for any standards"
This is an all inclusive mega resort surronded by other mega resorts. This was a huge shock to us when we checked in, but other people who had signed up for this type of vaction seemed to have a great time. The first 2 rooms we checked into were very dirty and smelled like an ashtray eventhough the hotel is non-smoking. The customer relation staff were […] extremly nice to us and moved us to a big suite as far away from all the noise as possible. Read more
"good hotel - not good alcohol"
Hotel was good but the vodka or tequilla they put in coctails were poor quality.

Хороший отель,рекомендую.

Отдыхали на Новый год 2012, всё понравилось, только еда могла быть чуть лучше и купаться в басейне почти не возможно в зимнее время, температура как на улице, а в целом - рекомендую!
"Rixos Lares"
Rixos Lares hotel was a quite nice hotel good service and they take care of you at your stay. But room was a bit worn and hade some white stains on the furnitures. (We had the supperior room), the bed was a bit too firm. The food was quite bad but eatable, the food was quite nice laid up and it look quite good but the taste was a disappointment quite […] taste less and bit greasy. You have a lot to choose from and you can see when the prepare the food so that is quite good and it seems quite hygienic. We went to the italian restaurang for dinner and the same problems there the food looks good but a bit tasteless. They try to copy a gourmet restaurang but is only a bad copy. (bad copy of an italian goutmet restaurant) The alcohol on the hotel is terrible only the beer is quite ok but wine (all the wine) and the drinks are really terrible. They have some imported alcohol but its really expensive and still quite bad brands, specially on the wine. So on our stay we kept away from all the alkohol even if it was for "free". To summarize all the hotel is quite a good hotel, excellent service and friendly staff and a lots of activites that you can enjoy. But food and drinks are quite bad, and the staff is quite bad in english but i had heard its quite common in turkey. I dont consider Rixos Lares to be a luxurious hotel, but it is a good hotel above your average hotel. For the low season price it was well worth it (beggining of june) but on high season when the price is 2x higher i would think about it twice. Read more
"Biraz kanaatkarsanız mükemmel denebilir."
Girişte güleryüz eksik olsa da otel odasının ferahlığı, yatakların konforlu olması, enfes yemekler ve makul fiyat (sezon dışı) bizi memnun etti ama talep karşılığı terlik, traj malzemesi vermeleri, otele gelen misafir için yarım saat sonrası fahiş bedel talep etmeleri can sıkıcı. Otelin doluluğu arttıkça hizmet kalitesi düşüyor.
