Parus Apartment - Kiev

Great location, well equipped room with sauna. Friendly, helpful staff - would definitely use this hotel again.

Hotel and room were very clean and well-maintained. Small bar area in comfortable lobby. Terrace restaurant with good breakfast buffet. Negatives: Room was a bit too cold (it was the middle of winter) and kind of small. Restaurant had *no* vegetarian options at all, so I had to go out to find someplace for dinner.

Anatoly was an excellent host. The airline had lost my bags for three-days. In conjunction with the airline, Anatoly coordinated the delivery of my luggage when it was finally found. He also provided me with a local cell phone at a very resonable rate...

We basically just slept here, between incoming and outgoing flights, so can't speak to the neighborhood and amenities. But the hotel was perfect for that purpose. The desk clerk spoke English which we know no Russian or Ukranian, so that was really helpful. She also whipped up breakfast for us the next morning; we had to leave by 7 so she got us fed prior to that. The room was fine-don't remember it much due to just sleeping and leaving! But I remember sleeping well... All in all, we'd stay here again between flights!

The hotel was ok for the price paid keeping in mind the Kiev is relatively expensive. The staff was trying to accommodate requests and fairly helpful. the room was ok and the overall stay was about right. Not the best I have stayed but not the worse. If you plan to stay in the room a lot, chose another hotel. If you plan to use the hotel mainly for sleeping, that is a decent choice.
