Sehr sauber! Hervorragende Lage mitten in der Stadt. Sehr edel! Freundlicher Service. Vernünftiger TG Parkplatz in unmittelbarer Nähe. Frühstücksmöglichkeit gut aber noch ausbaufähig.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"My Place Vienne - great for travellers with kids"
We stayed in studio apartment with winter garden, with our 1-year-old-daughter. The kitchen was very well equipped, and the room was spacious and it was not a problem getting the baby to sleep, and later watch TV or play games in the room. There is a grocery store next door to the hotel, where you can fill up the fridge with fresh food. The room was […] tidied by staff every day. The breakfast was ok, but since food is so cheap in Austria, I would prefer making my own breakfast in the room. Location is excellent: about 300m north of Stephansplatz, inside the inner city. We arrived by plane, took the CAT (city airport train) to Landstrasse/Wien Mitte (10 euros) and subway (1,80 euros) line U4 (direction Heiligenstadt) to Schwedenplatz. From Scwedenplatz, there is a 300m walk to the hotel.
Genuine Expedia guest review
"lovely and in the heart of the city"

its a delightful old building I was luck to be upgraded to a €209 per night room so can not complain at all The junior suite with day area with kitchen as well as a big bedroom was lovely. No bath but a shower big enough for two if the mood takes you ;-) very nice indeed and great for a romantic break in Vienna The gym is basic but OK for a night or two for the fitness crazed like me Breakfast is simple and continental but fine, well presented, good selection and so on It is in the very heart of the first district so not a cheap area. There are plenty of good restaurants as well A bit pricey but honestly on this occasion worth it
"A little disappointing"

These apartments have had a lot of money spent on them, beautifully designed and comfortable. Small but attractive lobby, half a flight to stairs to the lift but manageable and the receptionist helped us up them with our bags. Smart decor in the corridors and first impressions were of a luxury apartment. Small lobby to the apartment and an attractive kitchen area with breakfast bar and coffee making machine which we didn't use. Comfortable bed, plenty of wardrobe space. Breakfast was included but we didn't take it so can't comment on it. The bathroom was lovely, all brown marble and orange ceramic sink but not practical - when the water was on slow it ran over the back of the sink and down onto the floor. No toiletries and only liquid soap so take your own stuff, including soap if you hate the liquid soap as much as I do! Bed very comfortable but up against a wall on one side. There are large pillars, the room is split in two by them so, while you have a fairly large space, only two thirds of it is useful. They have tried to make it attractive with a desk and a lounger in the recess but the lounger isn't comfortable to do anything on but lie down, its just decorative and you couldn't even read comfortably at that angle and the desk is lost in the space. In the meantime you have to squeeze between the coffee table and the TV to move around the room. There were a few maintenance issues. The external blinds didn't work so it was dark in the apartment all the time, but as we were out all day it didn't bother us, the desk lamp didn't work and there was a hole in the ceiling paster over the bed. Nothing disastrous and we didn't complain so can't complain that it wasn't fixed. The location was good, walking distance from pretty much everything, but if I went again I would be looking at something closer to the Hoffburg Palace. Thats where the cafe bars, shops and attractions are up near the Hotel Wandl or the Hotel Royal. Not far away unless you have a twisted ankle like I did :(. There was a roof garden but no cushions no shade and the plants were all dried up, so not really useable. We could probably have asked for cushions but I can't do direct sun so we didn't bother. The thing that made it special was the wonderful lady receptionist. Helpful to a fault and nothing too much trouble. The thing that spoiled it for us was the other residents. A very large unfriendly impolite arab family, taking many rooms and treating the hotel like it was their home from home (which it probably was as I got the impression they were the owners) and we were interlopers, treating the lounge like their own personal domain and making us feel very unwelcome while they spread over every sofa and chair, to make sure we didn't have anywhere to sit. Particularly annoying was one obnoxious teenager who looked at us like we were dirt on his shoes whenever he saw us.

really good find in Vienna's city centre. If you value space, good design and a first class location, this is the place to book. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The junior suites are well-appointed, spacious and offer ameneties you will never find in a hotel (such as a big fridge) for that price. The gym leaves something to be desired for but you have a little space for doing some exercises. Apartments in the front can be noisy if you like to sleep with an open window but when closed you don't really hear much. My only complaint is about the breakfast: close by are a plethora of very good bakeries but the quality of bread rolls and baked goods is not the best. Also the introduction of the self-service coffee machine may not have been the wisest decision.
"nice but not a 5*, overpriced"
08/02/13 probest London, United Kingdom
The hotel is in a good location, right in the city centre, 5 minutes from stephensplatz station. it is easy to travel by train from the airport to the hotel and anywhere else. Sightseeing places, museums, opera house, restaurants are within walking distance. There are designer shops nearby like Gucci, armani, louis vitton etc. There is a supermarket just a few yards from the hotel and another down the road. So grocery shopping was convenient. At times we prepared small meals but ate out mostly. Breakfast was definitely not 5*. It lacked variety, and was the same everyday. There are loads of cafes nearby We really liked the apartment size. It was spacious, clean and stylish - contemporary decor. The view from our window was non-existent. Although, being in the city centre, the apartment was quiet and peaceful. Wifi was free and connection was quick in the room, though in the lounge there was no wifi and the printer was not working. Staff didn't have much knowledge about the concerts, restaurants or sightseeing places. we got more information from people selling, in the busy squares. Don't arrange excursions through the hotel, as they are pricey. Our stay in Vienna was one of our better holidays.
"Easily the best in Vienna"

Regular visitor to Vienna for biz trips. This is a home from home. Comfort of having your own apartment space instead of cramped hotel room is priceless especially if you are in town for few days, week or two. Anyone leaving negative reviews needs their heads checked out. You can't really ask for anything more.
"Great Place to enjoy Vienna"

We spent a week in Vienna and made this our base. It was perfect for us. The location, just a few minutes from Stephansplatz meant that we could get anywhere we wanted easily. We enjoyed having a small apartment to relax in, and the chance to prepare snacks and nespresso coffee in our room. The staff was extremely helpful in everyway. There many great little bistros all around the area, and several underground stations to choose from. We found plenty of choices for breakfast (I only sampled 4 or 5, but there was a lot more) We used the fitness centre regularly - small, but 2 bikes, elliptical, treadmill plus weights. Everything we needed. I'd go back for sure.
"Considered the price and service they provided. Little bit overpriced I will say"
07/01/13 MaggieLu1205 Taipei, Taipei, Taiwan
The room was comfortable and stylish but the average English level for hotel ppl was varied. Besides, when we asked for car rental service, the response was pretty slow and need us to push twice, even three times to get the answer. Breakfast was good quality but lack of choices for a five star hotel.

Perfect place in the center, very modern and stylish appartments. Parking is reasonably done in the streets. Nice staff and very friendly. The kitchen is modern with microwave and dishwasher. The number of glasses could be more..... Nice ambience.
"Excellent Place to stay"

My Place is a fantastic alternative to regular hotel room with the extra space - perfect for a family. The hotel is centrally located (5 minute walk from Stephansplatz) and having a little supermarket (Spar) right next door was very convenient. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked with plates, pots and utensils (including dishwasher), very quick wifi and a lovely roof top garden with outstanding views. The staff could not be more helpful, knowledgeable or polite. We will definitely return to My Place next time we are in Vienna.
"Used to be a regular customer but will not come back after my last stay"

I have been staying in My Place for couple of years now often staying for two weeks at the time. I have already given a very good review for this place, as I have originally really liked it but my last stay was a huge disappointed and I don't think I'll be coming back. Couple of months ago I booked two rooms for at My Place for myself and a colleague of mine. I have arrived earlier and went out while my coleague was supposed to arrive the late evening. I came back from a concert around midnight and found my colleague sleeping on a couch in the lounge room. She told me that the room that I have rented for her and PAID FOR (they charge you the full amount upon the reservation) was given to a random Romanian man (the room was rented for a Greek female) who just walked in from the street. He aparently has told them that he had a reservation, they told him MY NAME and he said yes so they let him in without checking his id. Can you imagine? My colleague was supposed to get a room but for some strange reason she couldn't just let her in (while she had no problem letting the man into our room) and she had to wait for her manager who was coming from home to authorize this change. I remind you this was midnight on Sunday and we had an early morning on Monday. We've waited for the manager for an hour who showed up and authorised the room change without even coming to see us and apologizing for this mess. My colleague got her room finally but noticed that the lock at the door was broken and asked if it could be fixed as she had some valuables with her. They said that they would take care of it the first thing in the morning so she slepped in an unlocked room. The next day when we came back to the hotel in the evening the door was still not fixed with all her valuables in and in addition it smelled like a sewage - I mean really, really bad. We've complained and my colleague was moved to a third room (in two days). I said that I wanted to speak with a manager and wanted some discount as all of this was really uneccaptable. The receptionists said that she is not authorized to do a refund since we have already paid but that the manager will call me and will try to settle this. She took my cell phone number. The manager has never contacted me even though I've called back twice. I am super disappointed in the horrible service we have received. I am back in Vienna again for two weeks and staying at a different place of course.
