We had used this hotel on a previous trip to this area and decided to return because of overall satisfaction on the previous trip. We wil use this hotel again in the future.

Great suites! Nice size rooms. We loved the living area with eat-in dining and kitchenette. Fantastic for families. Great value with free parking and made to order breakfast daily. Staff accomidating. Would stay again.

The breakfast could be a bit more healthy. All carbohydrates except for hard boiled eggs, green apples ( very tart ) and a few oranges. The room was clean, comfortable, the mattress was great to sleep on, bathroom was roomy, but the coffee could have been stronger in the room. Also the coffee downstairs needs to be better. Very weak. Had to go to a coffee shop to get real coffee.

This is a no-frills hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was very inexpensive, the staff was courteous, the room was very clean. Breakfast was very basic, just milk., (fake) juice, coffee, muffins and cereal, but you can't ask for more for the room price.This hotel is within walking distance of ASU/Barrett, so it was convenient for us. I have stayed at a different hotel across the street (something University), and it was terrible, where I decided to leave a day earlier and loose a prepaid night because I could not stand the smell. Overall, I will stay at this hotel on my upcoming visits.

"Nice and reasonably priced"
Clean and nice. Looks relatively new & in very good condition. Lots of parking, nice hot tub & pool. Handicapped access room was very satisfactory. We wished the bed was a little larger but that is a very minor quibble. We would definitely stay there again.
Do not recommend staying here. The room had a strange odor, and the television was very small. The outside of the lobby looked very nice, but looks can be deceiving.

this was hardly a suite.a room about 12by12. with the smallest tv i ever saw also they have long time rentals also so people are always moving about and you can hear the people above you walking around. "Don't let the bed bugs bite"
Bed bugs... nuff said. Also, there's no wifi, only wired with ethernet cable (which I don't have). But really, bed bugs. I left when I saw them (had to find another hotel at about midnight), but by that point I already had several bites all over my arms and legs.

The place was immaculate and quiet but the people who were obviosly living above our room were moving out in the middle of the night and although they were quiet, we heard their footsteps all night long!

I've driven by this place several times and was impressed at how nice it looked. The place can't be more than 10 years old. I didn't realize this was an extended stay motel until I arrived. People were shirtless, in their lawn chairs, sitting in front of their doors and out in the parking lot. People were staring too. It was weird considering how nice […] the place looked. I can't say whether or not the staff was nice. The TV was so loud in the lobby I could barely hear what he was saying. I asked him to repeat himself several times. After entering the room, we realized how tiny it was. The bed was really low and not comfy at all. It looked more like a full sized bed than a queen. The TV was very small too (the smallest I've ever seen in a motel). The carpet was commercial, which made me feel like I was in an office. On the positive side, the Internet worked well and I enjoyed the fact that it had a kitchen (with microwave and fridge). The pool was OK, though it was pretty shallow. There may have been another pool, but I'm not sure. Neither of us enjoyed our stay and neither of us will stay there again. I give it 2 out of 5 stars. You get what you pay for. The room is cheap, but very very small and smelled like urine. It was rather convenient to stay there for the night due to the location and the price, but I would not recommend the stay to anyone.
"Super 8, Pheonix west I-10"
The front desk clerk was rude, threw our room keys at us. The room was very hot and the air con didnt work right away. And there was a bogger from last tentent on the shower curtain.

Didn't realize I was booking at an extended stay. Wasn't real happy with the room size or the neighbors. Load music with high base sound in room next door. plus there were large size dogs in rooms. This was more like a place to stay for people who didn't have a home......

"Really Good Deal for the Price"
The place is right off the highway exit. I had a studio suite and for the nightly rate I got from booking it online , I got a lot for my money! The shopping center isnt that far away either, only 1.1 miles. Even though the suite came with a stove and fridge, I just wished they also offered a coffee maker with complimentary coffee and disposable utensils […] like those you'd get from other motels. Also, even though they offer free internet access they really should declare it to be 'wired' so guests can have a heads up of bringing their own cable. The most bang for you buck... The rooms have a small TV. A kitchenett with microwave and two burner electric stove with a sink next to it. It is just off of the I-10. The pool looked inviting. The facilities are new. The beds are passable. Turn on the AC and it drowns out any noise. I think it is a great bargin motel.

The customer service is not the issue here... it's the false advertising of the photos used when viewing the rooms in considering this hotel. The bed was like sleeping on a cardboard box, the room didn't have any working lights (we had to unscrew the bulb to turn off the light) and the area was surrounds by a very discomforting nieghborhood (tagging, […] plenty of sirens, etc.). Room was too small to be called a suite. Bed uncomfortable and squeaked with every movement. Towel rack in room falling apart. Front desk staff was helpful. Would not recommend this hotel to friends. Would stay if traveling alone and only spending the night.

"Money better spent elsewhere"
The Legacy Suites Tolleson is relatively new and looks decent inside and out. However, my wife's allergies were going crazy in the room. She is allergic to dust primarily and is sensitive to smoke. We had a non-smoking room but it smelled like it had been smoked in. I do not have allergies but I woke up with a sore throat and congestion that wore off […] as we spent our day outside the hotel. After another night in the hotel the sore throat and congestion were back stronger than before. My wife could not sleep because she could not breathe well. As another reviewer mentioned, the hotel seems to have a mysterious heat source that keeps the rooms uncomfortably warm even with the heater off. We were there in February with temps in the 40's at night and 60's during the day. We did not want to open the window for security reasons (we were on the first floor) so we turned on the A/C which was very loud . We turned off the A/C and turned on the ceiling fan but it was unbalanced or something and also made a lot of noise. Neither of us could sleep well due to the stuffiness of the room, the apparently poor air quality, and the noise from A/C and/or fan. We ended up packing up and leaving by 7am on our last day just so we could get out of the hotel. On the plus side, it was the lowest rate around, but I wish I had spent a few more bucks on a nicer place. Read more

The hotel is very inexpensive and it showed. There was no shower curtain when we checked in. The TV, about the size of a medium laptop screen, had multiple black spots that obscured part of the picture. It was a kitchenette but there was no silverware, plates, pans or cups. As the title says you get what you pay for. It was the cheapest hotel I could find in the area where I wanted to stay. It was small, it was clean. "Legacy - A Place Woth Staying"
Not bad for the price. Easy on and off from the highway and many resturants and shopping stores nearby. I would recommend it to my friends and would stay there again if needed aplace in Phoenix.

"Not what you Expect!!"
with most kitchenette's, utensils and glasses are provided. I have stayed in better equipped kitchenette's for the same price range. Overall the room was clean and quite. everything was in working order, however the TV was so small you need binoculars to watch it. I would think twice about booking this hotel again.... Only as a last resort!!!

Not as bad as some of the reviews. . . The room was extremely small as was the TV, but that didn't really matter much to me. I would recommend to someone that does NOT have to spend a lot of time in their room.

Be realistic with yourself. This is not an upscale hotel, but it suited our needs for a place to rest for one night. Beds aren't luxurious, but shower was hot and bathroom appeared to be clean. Didn't notice alot of loitering in the parking lot and satff was very freindly at check in/out. Didn't need the staff for anything else, so can't speak to how […] issues are dealt with. TV is smaller than my computer screen, but again, not looking for a place to hang out. This is a daily, weekly, monthly facility so there are some "tennants" on site. It is about 5 miles from the Cardinals stadium which was nice. Biggest concern I would have in the hot summer would be the ability of the wall AC keeping it cool. If you are the type traveler that prefers at least Holiday Inn type levels, you will need to stay there instead. Not being negative, just stating the facts. Read more

Over all the stay was ok. Hotel is in a location where you have all sorts of stores to shop at, fast food restraurants, grocery stores, the Phoenix Football stadium right up the street so close, very convienent for us. When we checked in and got to our room me and my husband just dropped our bags in the room and left to get something to eat before the football game. We did not get back to the room until about 10pm. Once we got in the room and started getting ready for bed we noticed this unusual odor. So i got the can of lysol and sprayed;that did not help. We opened […] the window and turned on the ceiling fan and that did not help so we called the front desk and they were closed for the evening so he just left a message. The smell was as if someone had a dog in there and let it just urinate all over the floor so we had to try and sleep with the window open and the ceiling fan on! For the price...it's a great place. For the price you shouldn't expect a 4 star hotel, and you won't get it...but still nice for the price.
"For the price it was ok"
The front desk area was nice and the outside of the hotel, but the rooms were pretty cheap. The TV was literally a 17" monitor on the wall. Bed was cheap and worn, but the shower was good.

Our only dissappointment was their hot tub was broken and we were looking forward to soaking in it during our stay. Other than that, we were very pleased with everything.

My stay here was very pleasant everything was new, up to date, and clean being that I am a big time germ a fob so I was very impressed. I really enjoyed that the hotel had a more apartment feeling to it so I felt safe and even though there is a lot of people around it was very quite! So thats a plus. A nice experience, small suites, very small tv but enough to watch news and music. A very good option if you go on bussiness and need a place for the night. Don't forget your iR45 cable if you want to connect to internet (no wireless available)

This place could be really nice if..... Not really that bad you know what your getting. The room was clean and was only built about a year ago so everything is still in good shape. This is a daily, weekly ,monthly rental with many long term guests and several with kids. I only mention the kids because of the added noise. The room was fairly small , […] even by overnight hotel standards, so I can only imagine how tight it would be with kids as well. I was there on business and wanted to get some work done between meetings but this was tough because the only place to sit was the bed or two very uncomfortable kitchen type chairs. Also had to buy a cable to conect to the internet with the dataport ( quit carrying mine with me a few years ago when I thought everyone went wireless.) Dont watch too much TV on my outings but even this was difficult, the room had the smallest TV of any room I have ever stayed in ( 17 ? inches.) Location is convienient to I10 and loop 101 but no resteraunts within walking distance. Read more

"Poor front desk help"
I had a problem with the a/c in my room. The daily temps were in the 110 range. The front desk help didnt want to help and as I tried to get them to help me they did their makeup and text freinds.

I booked this hotel at the last minute. The price of this hotel was great, the room was clean and had air conditioning. The neighborhood could be better, but I had no problems with anything or anyone the three nights I stayed. It is a rent by day, week or month hotel, but I was surprised at how quiet it was. I would stay here again.

This hotel is located in one of the hottest states in our country. Unbelieveably there were ABSOLUTLY NO ICE MACHINES!!!!!!!! Verticle blinds in room were too short.

I loved my stay here. Hotels.com delivered. Only issue was small TV screen. That did not ruin my stay though.
