Hotel is right in the middle of Triberg, great location. A little hard to navigate as hotel is on 3rd floor of an office building. Elevator was hard to find and very small. Staff was warm and friendly and very accommodating. Breakfast was wonderful. They need new towels though. Everything else was very nice.

We arrived around 8 pm and the desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. There was a problem with our reservation, but he had already taken care of it before we got there and had another room ready for us. He even came up and made up the sofa bed for our kids! We had a cocktail in the lounge before heading to bed. The entire staff was very friendly and all spoke English very well. The breakfast was amazing. A large variety of all kinds of food. Something for everyone! We chose this hotel because of the location. It was about 20 minutes to downtown Stuttgart! We were only there one night, but wished we could have stayed another. Thanks for a great experience!

Remodeled bath with tile floor, tile wainscot and granite counters. Easy check-in. Computer with internet in lobby. Underground parking for a few spaces. Typical and tasty German (continental) breakfast to include eggs, breads/jams, cold meats, cheese, yogurts and cereal. Very, close to Caracella and Friederichsbad, two minute walk and in the middle of shops and dining. Helpful staff.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for one night and had a great time. Nice, small hotel that was very comfortable and clean. It was attractively decorated and had an old world type of charm. The hotel was situated perfectly in the heart of Baden-Baden's old town and everything was a very short walk. The staff was very attentive and nice. We would definitely stay again.

"Nice new grand hotel"
Nicely remodeled .staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant was outstanding but very pricey. Rooms are small but lovely. Staff did know how to advise on wifi operations, bit you can figure it out. Great value!

"A complete Hotel"
With the spas, pool, good restaurant, and a great Breakfast buffet, this was a very enjoyable stay. The room was small but very comfortable and cozy.

We were satisfied with the hotel and the service. The choice in the restaurand could have been a bit wider.
"Wow"
This Hotel is a 500 year old building and is amazing from head to toe. The only complaint is the pool closes at 8pm.

"alterwürdig"
Das Hotel versetzt uns die eine andere Zeit. Schöne Räume, Pianomusik.. Allerdings sind die Zimmer sehr klein. Auch in der Suite kann man sich im Bad nicht zu zweit aufhalten. Leider darf das Hotel dies aus Denkmalschutzgründen auch nicht verändern. Allerdings wird man durch eine sehr freundliche Bedienung entschädigt. Die wellnessanlage ist klein aber […] fein. Das Bad ist etwas kalt. Freudenstadt hat vieles zu bieten. Nicht unbedingt für Familien geeignet. Read more

"Eine Reise wert!"
Schönes Hotel - jedoch am Wochenende stark ausgelastet und daher muss man beim Abendessen Geduld mitbringen. Wellness Bereich neu & modern, aber Sa-So ebenfalls zu stark frequentiert bzw. nicht auf so viele Personen ausgelegt! Wer kann: denn Wellness-Trip lieber unter der Woche machen!

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Preis Leistung stimmt und das Personal ist sehr freundlich, das reichhaltige und abwechslungreiche Frühstück ist des Lobes wert.
"Verlängertes Wochenende"
Schönes historisches Hotel. Die tägliche musikalische Unterhaltung durch den Pianisten haben wir sehr genossen. Am Anreisetag war das Zimmer sehr kalt. Nach zwei Interventionen wurde das Problem jedoch behoben. Der Wellnessbereich ist angenehm bei gut gebuchtem Hotel jedoch zu klein.

Rare Hôtel, style palace à l'ancienne mais magnifiquement restauré sauf pour les chambres standard dont la salle de bain n'est pas du tout à la hauteur. Service efficace et très sympathique. Petit déjeuner superbe. Salle de restaurant magnifique avec un excellent service. Mais attention au repas. Lors d'un précédent séjour nous avions très bien diné. […] Cette fois cela a été une catastrophe. Avec de très bon produits la cuisine a réussi à réaliser un diner prétentieux et ridicule. Le chef a favorisé la présentation en oubliant que ses plats devaient aussi nourrir ses hôtes. Wir haben das Hotel als Ausgangspunkt für unsere Shoppingtour in Metzingen und unserem Besuch des Europaparks in Rust gewählt. Dabei haben wir festgestellt, das auch Freudenstadt eine Reise wert ist und können dieses Hotel an alle Liebhaber für schöne, alte, Hotels sehr empfehlen. Wir werden wieder kommen!

Très bon hôtel peu cher pour la prestation fournie. Petites attentions (chocolat), lits fait puis préparés pour la nuit. Personnel sympathique. Par contre le restaurant était assez cher pour nous, ce qui fait que nous n'y avons pas déjeuner ni diner. Les petits-déjeuners étaient copieux et avec un très grand choix. Le personnel ne parlait pas français […] mais nous avons pu nous débrouiller avec l'anglais puisque nous ne parlons pas du tout allemand. Il y a internet dans les chambres mais n'oubliez pas de prendre un cable ethernet car il n'y a pas de wifi dans les chambres. L'hôtel n'est pas loin du centre ville qui est, par ailleurs, assez agréable. Nous avons passé du temps à la Panorama Bad (un centre aquatique) qui se trouve au nord de la ville. "Flair wie zu Kaisers Zeiten"
Sehr stilvolles, ruhiges Hotel in zentraler Lage von Freudenstadt. Insgesamt sehr positiver Eindruck was die frei zugänglichen Bereiche des Hotels sowie das Restaurant betrifft. Das Einzelzimmer konnte jedoch nicht überzeugen. Es war winzig, ohne Ablagemöglichkeiten, ohne Kleiderschrank. Es bestand keine Möglichkeit eine Hose oder eine Jacke aufzuhängen, […] ich musste drei Tage aus dem Koffer leben. Desweiteren war die Lärmbelästigung durch den daneben liegenden Aufzug und den tosenden Abluftschacht der Küche, welcher unmittelbar neben dem Fenster verlief und abends erst gegen 23:30 abgestellt wurde, morgens aber schon gegen 05:30 begann, extrem.
