Price and location were right. Grounds and maintainance inside and out were above average....flowers blooming everywhere! Front desk friendly and efficient. Room spacious and well appointed with 2 Q beds and new, big, flat screen TV (room 301). Towels were not lush, but there were 4 of them, so no issues!

This is a good choice if North Vancouver is your destination. Lots of shopping and eating in the market below the hotel, which is also where the parking is located. The more upscale and higher priced rooms get you further out towards the water, which can be worth it in terms of quiet and view.

Hotel was very clean and new. Hotel is in middle of Chinatown so you won't see many chain restaurants or food other than very traditional Asian.

Location.
Conveniently near the airport, Aviawest in Vancouver is in the heart of Vancouver, within walking distance of Vancouver Central Public Library and BC Place Stadium. Additional attractions near this condo include Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden and Robson Street.
Property Features.
Aviawest in Vancouver has an indoor pool, a sauna, and a fitness facility. Public areas are equipped with wireless and wired high-speed Internet access (surcharges apply). Bad part of town and hotel was a dump
"Nice"
A nice place with 2 FULL-WALL windows. Nice lobby and clean room. Great with children, as there was a small yet useful kitchen area. Would stay here again.

the hotel is actually Robison the managment is located outside the hotel. NOT hospitable or friendly. the staff inside the hotel was quite kind but we weren't supposed to use them. Room Very small. couch very uncomfortale. Bathroom a joke.

"Aviawest Vancouver aka Rosedale on Robson"
The room was smaller than we thought it was going to be. Also the main bed was only a queen size even though it was advertised as a king. The room was actually located in the Rosedale on Robson, which was rather confusing when trying to check-in. The kitchenette was well equipped.

Although we knew there was only 1 day of housekeeping we were disappointed that we were not given new towels, the counters were not wiped nor was even 1 roll of toilet paper left. Staying for a week I'd expect slightly more. Basically the room was vacuumed. The second bed (sofa bed) was terrible, full of very hard springs. The actual staff were wonderful […] though and you can't beat the location. Read more

"Aviawest - Vancouver"
The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. The check-in was a little confusing as you have to go to a separate building to register. The price for WI-FI is a little too steep. There is no indication in the ad that there is no housekeeping service during your stay. It is convenient to Downtown and Yaletown.

the only downside...you have to pay for in-room WIFI. it's free in the lobby though, so if you're not tied to your PC it's no big deal. peculiar pricing structure, with an extra charge for the room cleaning. don't let that scare you, it's still an excellent price.

"great location"
We stayed 5 people in a 2 bedroom apartment with sofa bed for three nights. No room service was offered for these days, no wifi was included (the people in the Aviawest reception told us we could use their wifi, but the password they gave us didn't work). The good thing was their prices, the location of the hotel and also that they let us, without […] any charges, store 2 suitcases for 5 days prior to our check-in. We really appreciated that. "udmærket men"
vi vidste ikke at det var værelser i et komplex med Time Share lejligheder, det var en sådan vi fik. Der var ikke betjening i receptionen om aftenen, dog et nødkald om nødvendigt. Reception lå i øvrigt i bygning ved siden af "hotellet". Vi var blevet lovet en King size seng, det var en Queen, dette kunne ikke ændres, dog var der i stuen en udmærket […] udtræksseng, som så fyldte hele opholdsstuen. Vi forsøgte at få kontakt med udlejeren, men blev afbrudt og kunne ikke komme igennem igen!!! Der var et meget veludstyret køkken og pænt badeværelse, der var rent og pænt overalt men altså ingen mulighed for service eller kontakt. Pool og Spa var ude af drift p.t. Vi kan godt anbefale stedet, dog bør der gøres mere opmærksom på de ovennævnte ting, det er lidt sent at finde ud af, når man er ankommet til stedet. LH Vi er meget tilfredse med Hotel Com.
