A generally enjoyable stay in a stylish and well appointed hotel. A couple of issues: a) the breakfast service was slow and poor; b) the decor in the dining room, whilst intending to make a statement actually made me feel rather bilious; and c) the lighting in the room was quite inadequate. Arrived after a long drive.The hotel has very generous parking at the front, so there was no problem in parking. The reception was straightforward and then we were escorted to our room. Reasonable sized room, small TV, comfortable bed, very clean and tidy. The bathroom too was very good. Breakfast is staffed by very helpful and friendly waitresses. […] The decoration of the dining area is dated and takes you back about 30 years.....but memories o late nights, not early mornings but the breakfast is very good. I stayed at the hotel midweek while attending a conference at the John Innes Centre. I had the option odf staying at one of the hotel chains but, as always, I chose to brach out. I was not disappointed. The staff were extremely helpful, the breakfast really good and the room comfortable. Only one issue: for some reason the shower in my room when cold […] suddenly then stopped altogether! Still, it woke me up. I had dinner at the hotel in the RARE restaurant. The food was good though the choice of vegetarian options was limited. All over a nice place to stay and I would certainly stay8 there again. Read more

We were on a getaway weekend for the two of us and the Georgian House was perfect. We could park the car there and walk into the city centre, the room was very nice and quiet. There were some marks on the wall that might have been painted over, but all was clean. The room was very small and cramped containing two Ikea style single beds. Walls were marked badly with what appeared to be the result of some kind of flood above. Nowhere to plug in your hairdryer near a mirror. Bathroom was dirty and fittings were of a very low standard, the tap top came off in my hand when I tried to turn it on. Shower didn't have […] any hot water and when receptionist came to room she said that they had had problems with pressure and that they would let us shower in another room which we declined to do!! They reduced the bill by £15 but we would never return to this awful hotel. The staff were lovely but the hotel needs a new lease of life: ( Read more

Dette er et koslig lite hotell i nærhet til sentrum av Norwich, kun noen få minutters gange fra bykjernen. Bodde her i tre uker, og opplevde servicen fra personellet som upåklagelig. Hotellet er relativt nyoppusset med en moderne restaurant og bar. Rommet mitt hadde ikke kontorbord, noe som trakk ned for min del. Det var også en god del støy fra hovedveien […] utenfor, siden vinduene ikke var støyisolerte (kun ett glass i vinduet). Men skal du bare overnatte, er dette et helt greit hotell (om enn litt dyrt). Hotellet ligger rimelig sentralt med gå avstand til sentrum. Maten på hotellet er bra så man kan godt spise her. Frokosten blir laget på bestilling så man må ta høyde for at det tar noe lenger tid. Det er en bar på hotellet med utgang til koselig have bak.
