When I booked this hotel, I didn't expect a whole lot from this hotel because it was so cheap. But after staying there for the entirety of my trip, I have to say that it was the best value for my buck. The hotel is conveniently located in District 1 right next to Binh Thanh Market. It's location makes it convenient to walk to all the tourist sites such as he War Museum and the Reunification center. The service was great and I would defiitely stay there the next time I go.

Rooms are very nice and roomy, and good location. They could improve on their service and maintenance. The phone did not work in my colleague's room which was inconvenient for wake up calls, etc. My room had the vanity light burned out. Also, had trouble with my key card and they were very slow in responding. Breakfast was okay, but had much better at other hotel we stayed at earlier in our stay. I do like their rooms so would probably give them another chance and hope that the service/maintenance issues were a one time thing.

I like the hotel. Breakfast was good . Had some new dishes everyday. The hotel was convenient to all. Fleas market is only two blocks away . Good to by some souvenir t-shirts. Make sure you bargain, t-shirt average price is 90 dong. The foot massage was good. You can print your email at the business computer and pick it up at the receptionist desk. The only thing is that they could not scan my document but that is a lot to ask for. Overall, I like it and would stay here again.

It was a great value given the price and condition of the hotel. The hotel is quite small, but it is very clean. Staff is very friendly and willing to help. Very close to Ben Thanh Market, only a few blocks away.
Location.
Conveniently near the airport, Tan Hai Long Hotel 4 is in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, within walking distance of Opera House and Ho Chi Minh City Hall. Also nearby are Ho Chi Minh City Museum and Saigon Central Post Office.

"Terrible Management!"
Gruff lady at the front desk made my check-in a nightmare. When I tried to check in after 12:00, I was refused and told to come back and try after 7:00PM. Came back before 7:00PM but was informed to come back after 7:30 because guest was not available and they could not give me a single other room unless I was able to pack repack and switch rooms to […] their liking. "Did not comply with hotels.com refund policy"
I ended up having to leave 5 days early and even though I had the print out of the hotels.com policy as well as the hotel's personal one night fee policy, I was refused a refund of my additional 4 nights. When I tried to show them the sheet with their policy, they all of a sudden did not speak english anymore. Very frustrating.
"HCMC hotel"
Neat and clean with nice breakfast. Make sure you do not get a basement room-musty smell. Good location near the Opera. Laundry is expensive- almost more than the room cost! Overall, good value for the money.
"Nice hotel for the price"
Staffs are friendly and will be willing to do anything make your stays as comfortable as possible. Hotel is located at convenient location where there are many good restaurant close-by. Overall, hotel is highly recommended and I will stay here again in my future visits.

The front desk lady had really a bad attitude. Would not stay there again even if its for free. Order a room with window, but there was a window that was looking in to a wall and if you look down you could See the buffet :s weird.

ants were sharing your beds when your sleeping and caused me too much trouble in itch and others. the price is for the value.

all the staff where good execpt 1 and that was the front desk lady asking her a quesition and wanting an answer was impossible. dont know why but all the other staff good.It was not languge, she unstood but the roll of the eyes was enough to know she really did not want to help.

This hotel is well located on Hai Ba Trung st with many good bars nightclubs and restaurants in easy walking range The staff were very helpful and the room clean and comfortable I recommend this hotel to anyone on a fairly tight budget
"Banging Noise Unprofession Staff"
About every hour or so 24 hours per day, a loud banging/clunk noise lasting a few seconds next to my room (possibly neighbours lift). Staff said they were unaware of this. I had requested a quiet room. Room needs repainting as walls very marked/soiled. Room cleaning good. Reception staff efficient but not friendly, especially upon arrival. Also Manager […] refused 'out of hand' a late checkout - did not even offer me one hour! Breakfast staff friendly, but playing on computers instead of cleaning tables etc. especially important because breakfast room sometimes nearly full. Computer area sometimes like kindergarten with kids playing there. My REAL girlfriend, who was just visiting my room, and not staying overnight, was asked id (as if she is a prostitute) and questioned another time. "Tan Hai Long Hotel 3 in HCMC - windoless rooms"
Hotel and room clean, but no windows. Bathroom drains were blocked, temperature of shower water changed from cold to hot and back. Location good, quiet room, great breakfast.

excellent hotel, great value...just steer clear of the basement rooms as they are smelly and quite unpleasant. Other than that, great hotel.

ﾄﾞﾝｺｲ通りにも近く、どこへ行くにも徒歩圏内でしたので、立地は抜群です。 従業員の方もとても親切です。 部屋も広々としていて、ゆったりとくつろぐことができました。 ｼｬﾜｰﾎｰｽが壊れていて一日目は何とかして身体を洗うことができましたが、次の日連絡をしたところ、すぐに直してくださいました。3Fでしたがｼｬﾜｰの出はあまりよくありません。 客室の掃除ですが、動かしたもの全て元の位置に戻っていてｱﾒﾆﾃｨも補充されているのですが、ｸﾞﾗｽに関しては本当に元に戻しているだけで、洗ってはいませんでした。となると掃除をしているのか？が疑問です。 これが最大のﾏｲﾅｽ要素です。

"Guenstiges Hotel in Ho Ch Minh City (Saigon)"
Dieses Hotel ist zentral gelegen und hat fuer diese Lage relativ guenstige Zimmer anzubieten. Diese sind zwar klein aber sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Personal spricht gut Englisch und ist sehr zuvorkommend.
