Fidenza - Fidenza

The hotel was very accommodating for a business traveler who often comes in late and leaves early. I have stayed here before, and the breakfast was scaled down during this last off-season stay, but was more than adequate.

We have been going to this hotel every year for the last 10 years on our annual trip to Parma where we lived for the previous 20 years. Always fresh, always clean and always comfortable genuine king size beds! A must-not-to-miss is Da Milla, a traditional Parma trattoria next door (run by the hotel owner's brother and cook wife) still offering Milla's fried bread with salumi, excellent egg pasta dishes, and country second courses such as braised boar, pigs' hocks stew, Parnma sausage and white beans, etc. with lots of home made desserts.

Very comfortable. Informative owner with good suggestions on sites in area. Very clean and up to date. No wifi in rooms. Great breakfast and made you feel welcome. Off the beaten track. Must have GPS.

I wanted to stay in the area to do a bit of exploring before going on to Bologna, and this was the perfect place. The old part of the city is a short walk and a wonderful place full of history and things to see and do.The hotel was delightful, the staff was excellent, spoke english without a problem, the restaurant next door was warm and inviting and the food excellent.great value for the money and when I am in the area again I will stay there happily

We only stayed one night at this hotel while driving through Parma. We would have loved to stay longer. We had a large suite for our family of 4. Bathroom was large with double sinks and jetted tub and shower. The breakfast was wonderful with plenty of variety and local specialties. Breakfast and wifi was included. The hotel is also a spa, though we were unable to try out the thermal pool. We were disappointed it was only open 10-7. Beds were hard and pillows flat, but the hotel was beautiful and we had plenty of room. The neighborhood was a small suburb of Parma with the Parma city center only about 10 minutes drive away. Excellant pizzeria across the street!
