Hotel was great, staff was very friendly. Literally a 1 min walk to the riverwalk, lots of stuff to do near by restaurants, Alamo across the street. Only complaint is that the building was very old and the a/c made a lot of noise, but all the furniture and bedding was very new and up to date, very comfortable.

Hotel was clean and comfortable, but service was terrible. Called down to the front desk to ask for towels and had to go down myself to get them. Valet is over priced per night and they park it in a parking lot that has a sign for around 20% of what they charge you and it is 3 blocks away. My sister and I stayed overnight because we both had early flights out of San Antonio and wanted to spend the evening near the riverwalk. We ended up eating at the hotel restaurant and really enjoyed the food. The service was good and the hostess at the desk was extremely helpful. I'd love to go back and spend more time. It's right across from the Alamo, Easy walking to most everywhere downtown. The Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Small and quiet. Wood floors in the room rather than carpet made it feel cleaner than your normal wall to wall carpet. The restaurant in the hotel has a lovely selection for breakfast.

This was a brilliant trip, due at least partially to this wonderful hotel! The Hotel Indigo is across the street from the Alamo (corner to corner), and it is two blocks from the River Walk. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I'm looking forward to a return trip in the near future.

Hotel is an older renovated office building, and it has retained a lot of that character. Did not use/look at any facilities beyond the lobby and our floor/room, so I can't comment on any pool, gym, workspace, etc. Staff was very kind, respectful, helpful. Very very nice room. It was spacious and felt like a small apartment rather than a hotel room. Wood flooring, original tile in the hall, and lots of old fixtures from the building's past still remain. We stayed on the fifth floor in the corner of the building. From our room we could see most of downtown and the Alamo. Our stay was pretty good overall. The hotel was at a great location. We walked to the Rivercenter Mall, the riverwalk and to eat and shop. The room was nicely decorated and comfy. My 2 only complaints is that our shower head needed more pressure and the bathroom needs a vent. Other than that, is was good for the price :D

I booked this hotel because I stayed here before for New Years. It was so close to everything. The room itself was really nice. In fact, the decor from the flooring , to colors of the walls inspired me to remodel one of my room back at home. So for my birthday I booked it again since I had really enjoyed my stay here the first time. I booked a one king […] size bed room. When I got there they gave me a two queen bed, the bathroom was super small, in all the room was really small. So I went up to the front desk to see if they could change my room. They did change my room, but the room was not what I really expected. The floor was cracking, the room was small too, the bathroom was okay. Best to use valet parking because you have to pay each time you re-enter the self-parking lot. But the valet is off premises, so it takes at least fifteen minutes to get your car. Food odor was overwhelming when entering hotel. Staff was at best only adequate. Wouldn't return.

I visited with some out of town family. The hotel was very charming. The rooms are very small, but for two adults was fine. Nicely decorated, clean, the bed pillow are definitely too plump! All else was good. I declined the hotel parking for two reasons, 1st not sure where to park or leave the car. There is not a drive or "entrance". I parked in the […] city pay lot immediately behind the Hotel. It was a little cheaper and from the looks, my car was going to be taken to a remote lot. No garage in the building that I could find. Felt safe at this location until the next AM when I discovered my car was broken into...What a mess, BUT the wonderful employees from the Indigo, cleaned out the glass, stayed with me while I waited for the police and even gave me some suggestions for where to get the window fixed. We chose the Hotel Indigo because of it's proximity to the Alamo and all of the attractions close by. The best thing about this hotel was the breakfast. The Texas Waffle and Breakfast Quesadilla were terrific. We enjoyed breakfast there each morning. I have prior experience with Hotel Indigo and this property was a 3 out of 5 stars for me. The staff […] was excellent especially the valet and front desk team. I downgraded by two stars for two reasons....one - internet was difficult to gain access. It also resets at midnight on Sunday night so if you are there for the weekend you may have difficulty getting internet Sunday especially if you are trying to check in for flights, etc. The second downgrade was for cleanliness of the restroom in our room. The floors and shower stall have tile....which is beautiful...but only when it's clean. Dirty tile makes you think dirty hotel even though the rest of the property was very clean and kept. Great stay....not sure I'll stay there again as a competing property is very close and I had a better experience there. Read more

The room was nice and big. The lobby and rooms have the remodeled historic look. Very cute. Pillows too fluffy might want to bring your own unless you like this. Bed very comfortableand view of Alamo very nice. Not far from river walk a couple of blocks. Front of hotel needs some help. Would book again.

Everything was well located within walking distance. We had a good view from our hotel window of the surrounding Alamo court. Parking fee was valet and more expensive than other hotels.
