"Times Square Nugget"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 6, 2012
We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for a week and were glad to find a hotel right in the heart of Times Square. The service was definitely top notch! The front desk was courteous and the concierge was very helpful, recommending great shows and restaurants. Our room was nice. It could've been a little larger. But the bathroom was a good size and the size of the TV's and the fact that they played HD was a bonus. Also, the bed was quite comfortable. The cleaning staff did a fine job of keeping up the room. I'll definitely recommend this hotel to others.
"Consistency. You can depend on it."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Finding a "GOOD THING" these days can get harder and harder. For this reason when you come across a 'good thing" it is priceless. One of the most recent "good things " that I have come across is the PARAMOUNT hotel in Times Square. The first thing that I leave the hotel impressed by is the professionalism and commitment that is demonstrated by the staff. Starting with the front desk where I was checked in by Catherine and continuing until the driver which I received at the hotel hands me my luggage at the airport. Catherine followed the details of my visit until the moment I checked out. The only dislike that I had which eventually i got over was the view of the alley where the boiler or some loud machine was placed. I know that from now on I will request a room that faces anywhere but there. If you are going to New York and plan on taking in Broadway there could not be a more perfect location. I love this hotel so much I find myself wanting to travel to NYC more. I cannot wait until my next visit to the PARAMOUNT which I hope will be in the next few weeks.
"Another Good Experience"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
My wife and I have stayed at the Courtyard in Mahwah three of the last four years to attend the NEAF astronomy show at the Rockland Community College in Suffern, just a few minutes away. We've always had good a experience and this stay was no different. The recent renovations definitely spruced the hotel up. The pool and spa area was nice, although the acoustics in the room left my ears ringing after a group of children in the pool were not using their "indoor voices." Our room was very clean, everything worked well, including the internet connection (which is a wired connection) and having a Dunkin Donuts right next door makes a stay here worthwhile in my humble opinion! Just grab a coffee and a bagel sandwich and go. The rates are competitive with other hotels in the area. If someone on here rates the hotel low, they must be comparing it to a five-star city hotel or maybe a destination resort. It's not that, but it is a clean and decent place to stay while traveling for business or short-term pleasure. I believe we will stay there again next year.

We had a very good time and the hotel was close to work.

Very nice hotel, within walking distance to subway for access to Manhattan (take the 7 or E and you can get to grand central, times square, penn station). Just a few blocks to local restaraunts. The room was very clean, excellent staff, free shuttle to subway. Overall an excellent place to stay if your touring new york city. One note, if you are considering a "view room" save your money, the view is obstructed by a number of taller buildings (the hotel is only 7 floors). Overall an excellent experience and I would definitely stay again, especially at the rate because of the new hotel discount. If you plan to take a cab from the hotel call one yourself because the service the hotel uses charges a flat rate to specific areas and you can get a cab on your own for cheaper generally.

my first room wasn't prepped properly and it was given to me when it should have been restored to some sort of acceptability to be used.
Great price and service. The continental breakfast was very convinient for me. My room was clean and spacious. Overall I had a great experience. Thank you Rodway. Lourdes Anthony Robbins Event.
"Roadway Inn, Secaucus"
The location of the hotel is very close to a major highway which effects the noise level in the room. I was on the highway side of the building. The approach to the hotel driveway is very sudeen and easy to miss. There is no lobby so the person behind the counter is stationed behind a glass window with minimal space to stand giving the appearance of […] possibly being in a high crime rate area. The room itself was clean but the air conditioning unit was poorly maintained with exposed insulation and the arm chair looked shabby. The bathroom was newly renovated with very tasteful tiles and colors. The breakfast was quite minimal but certainly welcomed particularly considering the relatively low price of the room. The staff was pleasant. The hotel served my purpose and therefore I was not expecting too much. Read more

"not satisfied"
Myself and 2 friends stayed here for one night and we were not satisfied at all. The ceiling in our room was falling down and had some leakage wear that was not repaired, the beds were hard as rocks, the pillows were like we didnt even have any pillows.
"super bad quality, do go there"
super bad service, super dirty and badly maintained, rude staff, used condom on chair, car door damaged and hotel staff ignore request to help, very very very unhappy and disappointed
"Overall Satisfied"
The hotel managers and staff were very kind and helpful. They stayed on the phone with us for almost 45 minutes giving directions. The room was very clean and quiet. The location is splendid if you are going to NYC. There is a bus within walking distance that will take you directly to the city. So, if you are looking for a nice inexpensive hotel that's […] close to NYC then you found it. Read more

"Rodeway hell in Secaucus"
Rodeway Inn is a misnomer, "Right on the Highway" Inn is much more like it. No sidewalk access even though is is near many okay restaurants and it's impossible to pull in and out of as is main only access is on the highway. Also if you try and sleep there if feels as though you are sleeping in the center of the road. Everything is broken, missing ceiling […] tiles, no hot water etc. I would have rather slept in my car. Let me start by saying that I cant believe Hotels.com is in any way associated with this "Hell Hole". Has anyone from Hotels.com ever visited this location?? The front desk person was to say the least, Rude. the room ??? well we needed to go thru 3 room to find one where the TV worked and or the room was ready for guests, with not any kind of an appoligy […] from anyone. The beds were uncomfortable and cleanliness was terrable. I want to forget about this day in my life but dont think I ever will be able to. Read more
"Emergency only"
I used this hotel during the recent power outage. All other hotels in the area were booked. I would not recommend staying here unless it were an absolute necessity. The hotel did not feel safe. There is no lobby. The beds are hard as rocks and the bedding does not look or feel clean. There was grime in the sink drain and tub drain. If there were anywhere […] else warm to stay I would have left. Read more
"Rodeway Inn Secaucus - OK low cost option"
Only a short bus ride from Manhattan's port authority, the rooms are basic but acceptable. None of the vending machines worked during our stay but there's a smalll shopping plaza nearby. It's situated alongside a busy highway but our room faced the back so we were not bothered by noise. The reception desk is behind bulletproof glass, which was disconcerting, […] but there was no sign of security problems and we over felt unsafe in the hotel or in the neighborhood. Read more
"New York City Visit"
Hotel could use some cleaning in the common areas and the outside of the building. Outside lights full of bugs and lots of garbage around the property. Staff unable to help with directions as they are not english speaking. Room was adequate and cleaned daily.
The dresser had missing drawers, the ice and vending machines were all empty, and the beds were uncomvertable, however the staff were very nice and the location wasn't bad but not worth the amount we paid for the room.
"Rodeway Inn in Secaucus, NJ"
I would recomend this to someone who is just looking for a cheap room in NY/NJ area. It's nothing fancy as the price says but really OK place. Microwave and refrigerator in the room as well if you want to save money on eating out. Free wifi and nice TV. Good cheap place!
Was expensive for the price quoted..although had a good connection with the bus and a good place for breakfast nearby, the upkeep and the general condition is not impressive..
"rodeway inn"
just plain terrible.Terrible location. sign not well displayed.Drove by three times. The bathroom had no ventilation so the paint was peeling off the walls and ceiling.breakfast was in a small room with little selection.Worst hotel i`ve ever stayed
"Non-smoking room... not so much"
Our room stunk of cigarettes. Had to keep windows open in the middle of winter. Could not move to another room. Did not receive any kind of compensation for this.
"Worst Stay Ever"
Dirty old rooms, the most uncomfortable beds, weird personnel, noise from highway and elevator, heating doesn't work properly- worst hotel ever!!! I wouldn't stay there even it was a free stay!!!!
"Rodeway Inn Secaucus NJ"
Overall the hotel provide reasonable accomodations, but the only sour note was the staff specially guest services because of the so i don't care attitude demostrated .
"Hotel Rodeway INN"
