It's good not exactly in Semniyak area. You can find cabs to move around, plenty of massage center near by not so great but cheap for $7 foot massage.

We had a 5-day stay at Bali Aroma with our three year-old and it was great. The plunge pool was perfect for him and the grounds were ideal. The staff, though lacking in real English fluency went out of their way to be helpful (early coffee in the morning for me, a birthday cake for my wife and they remembered the little requests from day to day). Onsite […] services were good too (massage). They can also arrange free transport from the airport. A couple of notes. First, this hotel is not on "the strip". It is near enough to get ther with a 20,000 rupiah cab ride (about $2), and in my mind much more quiet and relaxing. Secondly, the beach is indeed a walk across a cow pasture and over a little river, but it is easy to navigate. The restaurants at the end of the street are good. Naughty Nuri's serves ribs, and the restaurant just across the street (can't remember the name) is really nice with Indonesian food, but go early. For the location, it gets very busy. Final tip - we used Bali Made Tours to show us around Bali. Made and Nowa were great and well worth the money. Read more

At the time of this posting (April 2011), I had to walk through dirty rubble, muddy ground, and cross a plank […] over a fast moving stream of grayish sewer-like water. The beach was not exactly nice either. I wouldn't lie on the sand because there were broken glass bottles and trash everywhere. The large waves were a plus. - American Breakfast not very American. The cook seem to put spices in everything. I ending up ordering Indonesian style. Also, the variety and quality was not as good as compared to other villa we stayed. - Towels had spots. I'm sure they're clean, but it doesn't feel very nice to use spotty towels. - The bathroom and shower are located outside of the bedroom On one night, I had to take a shower in the typhoon weather. It was creepy as hell! We didn't even consider using the bathtub. Overall, we had a satisfactory stay despite the issues listed above. We enjoyed the short taxi ride to downtown. There are also a couple of nice spots to eat 10 minutes walk from the villa. Ordering food from the hotel was cheap and decent. Hotel shuttle to and from the airport is cheap as well. Read more

I just stayed at the Bali Aroma Villas for 8 nights. We rented a two room pool villa for 2 adults and 3 kids. After a short drive off the main road we were greeted by the friendly staff. They took care of everything from taxi's to tours. While we tried many of the different restaurants around the city we quite enjoyed the food on site. Not only was […] it reasonably priced it was also very good. Breakfast was simple but excellent, I suggest trying the Black Pudding at least once. Basic villa with minimal amenities. Breakfast is forgettable, so it might be useful to just eat the fruits and search for more fortifying stuff elsewhere. Pool was nice but bed was too soft and frame squeaky.

Bali Aroma is total bliss. The staff are gracious, attentive, polite and friendly. Our two bedroom villa was sensational. The outdoor bathrooms are brilliant. The pool was lovely. Beds comfy. TV perfect. The outdoor daybed was great. My husband and I went with our two kids (5&7), we had such a great time. This is the place to go, and we certainly will be returning. You can stay in the fantastic accommodation, or you can go to the beach. OK the bridge to the beach is not the best in the world but it gets you there. For a $2.00 taxi ride you can go to any number of fantastic restaurants, Biku, Metis, Sarong and a excellent Japanese restaurant Dahana all […] at good prices. Wine is expensive but that's the tax, and not their fault. I suggest you raid the duty free before you get there if you want wine. Beer is cheap, drink the local stuff its not bad at all. The standard of meals coming out of the villas kitchen are excellent and can be delivered to your villa, at no extra cost. Breakfast was delivered everyday from a choice of 4 different menus, and always by polite staff. All in all this was a 5 star paradise and i would thoroughly recommend these villas to anyone. What was really good is that there were no hidden charges at the end of the stay. I would like to give my thanks to all the staff for making our stay an enjoyable one. Read more

All up we spent 7 nights at Bali Aroma, originally we booked for 3, but came back for additional nights as other accommodation did not compare. The 2 bedroom pool villa we stayed in was perfect. We loved our stay at the Bali Aroma Exclusive Villas. The villas are picuresque, safe, clean and quiet. The staff were extremely helpful, not just with the accommodation but also assisted us to arrange transport for sightseeing etc. The restuarant food was very nice and was cooked to order. We were greeted warmly by Ayu and Nitti at the front desk, they were both very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa our 2 children had a bedroom each. The rooms were clean and spacious with outdoor shower and toilet. Each day the houskeeping staff replaced sheets and towels and toiletries and made the rooms spotless. […] The pool was large enough and properly maintained. The maintenance people delt with small problems immediately (broken key in lock and loose drawer handle). Each day we had the free breakfast which was adequate and tasty (Ari the cook was freiendly and helpful with any special requests). The free WiFi was quite fast and easy to access. Seminyak town is about 15 minutes away by taxi and costs about 20,000 IDR (AU$2). There are a number of good restaurants within 500m of the villas. The villas are located in a rural setting with rice fields and cattle grazing nearby. Nice to be able to escape the busy towns for the seclusion of our own villa. Make sure you take a copy of the address as most local taxies don't know where this villa is. Its easy enough to navigate there once you have done the journey once. 値段の割には広い敷地と建物（ベッドルーム３つ）、専用プールが確保されており、手狭なホテルに慣れている日本人としてはかなり満足できる。風呂も各部屋についていて良かったが、２階部屋のお湯の出が悪かったことが残念。それ以外は、従業員の対応も良く、また行きたいと思わせるヴィラでした。

スミニャックにある高級Villaです。部屋毎が一つの敷地で隔離されているので、リラックスしたプライベートな時間を過ごすには最適です。家族やグループで2ベッドや3ベッドの部屋を借りて楽しむのも良いと思われますが、日本人の子供やお年寄りを含んだ家族、英語が全然話せない人には不向きでしょう。あと、虫やヤモリ辺りに過敏な人もこの手のVillaは避けてホテル住まいの方が無難です。(実際日本人はあまり来ないと言ってました。逆にバリに数少なくなった穴場と言えるかも)この手のVillaはバストイレ、リビング(要はベッドルーム以外)は非常にオープンな造りになってるので、自然と共にゆったりした時間を過ごしたい人の空間となってます。スタッフもできるだけ干渉しない姿勢ですが、愛想も良いし、頼んだことはしっかりやって […] くれます。 上記はスミニャックのVilla全般にも当てはまる部分は多いのですが、ここの特徴はビーチに歩いて5分くらいで行けること。これはスミニャックでは貴重だと思います。スミニャックビーチの波は荒いので小さな子供には向きません。物売りも少なくて静かです。 ビーチのパラソル＆デッキチェアは30,000ルピア／H、ブギ―ボードは50,000ルピア／Hくらいです。Villa周辺のマッサージ、食堂も他の観光地域に比べて安い方なので、これもお勧めです。 Read more
