"Right near Oreland 5K"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Very convenient location. As a CPAP user, I really appreciate an open plug near the nightstand. The breakfast buffet had everything I needed for my pre-race meal. I will make this my destination hotel for this yearly event.

"Small town charm"
Desk staff were very friendly. The hotel was quiet and the location is at the edge of town. All one level, loved that a real key locks the room door yet there is a flat screen T.V. Large, clean room, with two very comfortable full beds. Shower had great pressure and water temperature. Sink should be replaced...was old with multi-cracks from wear. Tub […] was clean but some mold noticed, probably another age problem. With only these two issues, we would stay again but recommend the hotel fixes these for others may not. Read more
"Never Again - in need of a major remodel"
The room was very spacious. The staff was very courteous. Other than that, this is a dilapidated, old, crusty, moldy building that needs major renovation. Until that happens, I would NEVER stay here again. It was pretty gross. I don't like to feel like I need to shower after I shower.
"French Creek Inn"
Carpets and furniture were worn. I left a jacket there when I checked out and they refused to mail it back to me. I had to contact people from out of town to get my jacket and mail it too me.
"Have stayed there twice."
I have stayed at this hotel twice. It is excellent for travelers who like the convenience of a small family type hotel. If you are looking for the "hotel chain" experience, this isn't it. The breakfast consists of muffins, fruit, juice, and coffee/tea (unlimited). The hotel has a total of about 20 rooms. So it is an excellent choice for travelers who […] have more difficulty negotiating through large hotels. The length of the corridor is about the length of most large hotel lobbies (i.e. very short distance from car to room). The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a cozy family style lobby with a table for games and a TV. However, I reiterate that this is not the hotel for those looking for the experience of the large hotel chains. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. Phoenixeville is a fabulous, artsy, historical town with a tremendous variety of things to do. Great shops and restaurants, and a beautiful, downtown shopping district. This hotel puts you close to the area. But you willl have to drive. Read more
The French Creek Inn satisfied our needs very well. The staff was very nice and helpful. The location of the Inn was ideal for access to our family members and the area was safe. The only drawback was the housekeeping service. Our beds were not made and our dirty towels not taken away and replaced with clean. Overall, we would recommend this facility […] to anyone and everyone. Read more
"Happy"
This little hotel made our stay very pleasant. Thank you to the on tel. clerk finding it!!!
"Value for your dollar"
A previous reviewer for this motel rated it as "clean" and the staff as "friendly". I concur and would add, helpful.
"Tired"
This hotel is very tired and in need of some updates. However, it was very clean. The staff were very helpful.
"shabby"
I didn't expect the Ritz but also did not expect to have the toilet seat paint so worn that I was afraid of getting a splinter.
"The French Creek Inn."
The French Creek Inn was located in a perfect location for our two day trip and the hotel staff were pleasant. The motel is in need of basic upkeep, such as painting and furniture. If the full size beds in our room were better I would have given this motel a "4". However, the full size beds were so bad, that the lack of restful sleep affected our moods […] the following day. My overall score is a 2. Read more
"Nice staff - older motel needs a facelift"
We arrived a little early, but the staff was very welcoming and let us drop our bags in lieu of a late check-in after our conference. I can't say enough nice things about the staff. We opted for a smoking room... I have stayed in many smoking rooms in other hotels that did not have a distinctive smoke odor, but this one retained a strong smoke odor. […] Not unbearable, but a definite "stale" smoke odor when you opened the door. The room was "clean" and had nice amenities, but the motel is showing its age and in need of upgrades. A small tear in the carpet, wallpaper starting to come off in places, a ceiling tile that needs to be replaced and stained carpet in the hallway are all superficial and really had no impact on the comfort of our stay. The beds were hard is the only discomfort I can claim. If looking for a cheap room in the Valley Forge area, I would stay here again, but next time I'll take a non-smoking room and go outside to pollute my lungs. Read more

"Excellent value for the money!"
I was very pleased with French Creek Inn. It's not fancy, but you can't beat the price! The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was spacious, and there was excellent shopping a few minutes away. I would definitely stay again.
"French Creek Inn - basic accom in Phoenixville"
As advertised, this is a clean, very basic motel. The beds are firm to hard.
"French Creek Inn in Phoenixville, PA"
I was satisfied with the overall service. The shower head in room 105 needs fixing. Enjoyed my stay.
"French Creek Hotel"
Stayed for business, very adequate, quite, clean, nice people, lowest price around, no frill stay, resturants near by, no alarm clock in room, firm bed ok, 4 star rating.
"The hotel was very close to all the sights"
Very nice secludedd a little and very quiet. The breakfast was just enough to get your day started off right.

"French Creek Inn"
I like this hotel, it was quaint with old fashioned service. The price was great and it is close to the center of phoenixville. I stayed here for the firebird festival.
French Creek Inn is a quaint hotel reminisciant of bygone days. Small hotel, friendly staff, clean comfortable room. Could use some cosmetic improvements. (some peeling wallpaper). All plumbing worked well. Coffee available in lobby only, but available all day. Muffins only for breakfast. Location was easily accessible and quiet. Nice countryside northwest […] of Philadelphia, within 30 minutes of the city. When in the area, I will stay here again. Read more
"French Creek - Basic, Lodging, but Good Enough $"
I will probably stay again when I visit Phoenixville PA next year for the annual event. The hotel is small, private, inexpensive and works for me. It is not luxurious or fancy. The continental breakfast is just coffee and prepackaged muffins, but it was very convenient as a 5 minute drive to town. It was also very private and quiet.
"Hotel was close to relatives"
this hotel was close to our relatives as we were there for a high school graduation that night. The employees were friendly . Our actual time we spend at the hotel was very short as we had quite a few activities to attend while we were there. If need be, we would spend more stays at that hotel...
"French Creek Inn, nice hotel"
It is a very nice hotel, calm and clean, people are very friendly. The breakfast is a bit sorry as there is only coffee muffin and fruits, almost no breakfast Still, it is very nice.
"French Creek Inn in Phoenixville"
This establishment was what I needed. Close to where my business was, very quiet and clean, with friendly staff.
"French Creek Inn - convenient location & Wifi"
The hotel is not the most modern and could do with a refresh, but it is clean, staff are friendly and the rooms have all you need - fridge, microwave, etc. It has wifi throughout though the signal is really weak towards the end of the rooms. The only real drawback is that hair dryers are not provided in the rooms though you can borrow one from the front […] desk! Read more
