The room was absolutely clean, the staff extremely friendly, the food terrific and the location right off Tahrir Square and the Museum of Antiquity with the subway just across the street. The price is fantastic bargain if you do not mind squeezing yourself into a small room.

Nice hotel, free wifi in lobby, free wired internet in room. 2 Restaurants, Italian place was excellent. Best for a one night stay if your soon heading to the airport to depart. 24-hr shuttle bus to the airport leaving every half hour. Airport is literally 2-3 mins away. I also like the staff since a couple of them greeted/responded to me with some humorous sarcasm (somewhat lost art in Egypt)

River view. Adjacent to high end shopping mall. On Giza side of river so not as convenient for Egyptian Museum, Tahrir Square and sites on opposite side of river. But is lovely, comfortable excellence. (November, 2012)

Had a 12 hour layover and this hotel is literally 5 minutes from airport. It has a casino but it doesn't open until 9 pm, the room was very modern though the mini bar fridge was warm, so all the drinks were as well. The pool and landscape was nice and it was quiet in the room which is amazing dice Cairo is such a horn friendly city! They have a security gate at the entrance of the grounds and security at the door to the hotel so I felt very safe while I was there.

"Worth what paid for"
Staffs were extremely friendly and helpful, excellent customer service!! The hotel is located very close to the pyramids but kind of far from downtown Cairo. There was a lot of restaurants in the area, fast food chains such as Mc donalds, Hardees and KFC was like 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Our room was average clean, normal size and had a safe, […] fridge but no minibar. Good toiletries especially the shoe shine sponge which was very useful after coming back from the pyramids. The swimming pool was very small. Superfast laundry service. Overall you are paying a reasonable price for this hotel therefore cannot really complain, as I would personally pay a bit extra on my next visit and stay at a 5 star hotel in downtown Cairo. The hotel was clean, good size bedroom, small bathroom though, and close proximity to the pyramids(as we could see the pyramids in the distance from our balcony when the pollution and smog permitted). They helped us plan our entire visit with a private guide/driver for a really reasonable price. You need only to tell them what you want to see and accomplish while you there, and they will personalize an itinerary from beginning to end, completely worry free! Initially, we were concerned about having a guide/driver who spoke English well enough to understand. That fear was completely dispelled when we met our guide/driver Farid. We can't say enough positive things about Farid. He is absolutely AMAZING! Egyptian born, with great communicative English. He was professional with a genuine interest in our safety and making our first visit to Egypt a lasting memory. Farid was probably by far the best reason to book at this hotel! For him it wasn't just about receiving a tip(as it is for many Egyptians in the business of tourism), surprisingly he declined daily tips and kindly requested we waited to the end of our 4 days with him to determine if we thought his service was tip worthy! "Good hotel, great price when booked indirectly online"
4km from pyramids, we were on 6th floor with a view of pyramids which was an unexpected surprise. Food was good but not great in comparison to the food we'd had on our nile cruise. Only book this hotel through third party websites as the price they advertise in reception is extortionate - they advertise four times what we paid. Not exactly a great neighbourhood […] but you cant fault the hotel for this because this is what most of Cairo is like. "Good base for the Pyramids"
I tayed at this hotel through August. It is a good hotel. Staff are friendly, breakfast is good and the room where I stayed for 5 days was comfortable. On arrival however, my son and I were a little dissapointed as the internet wifi service offered by the hotel was not working for 2 days. Eventually it worked and internet access was possible. Cairo […] is experiencing political change right now with the demise of the former President Mubarak who was forced out of power. This mood reflects on the people of Cairo. It can feel a little unsafe outside the hotel in the evening. My son and I experienced verbal abuse by local people outside of the hotel around 200 metres up th Pyramid road towards the Macdonalds restaurant. Overall, I feel the people of Cairo resent Westerners. The Pyramids of Giza, Saqqara were amazing, Saqqara is definately worth a trek. These Pyramids in Saqqara are even older in age than the Giza Pyramids. The view from the Saqqara area across the horizon is surprisingly beautiful and green. There are so many sights to see in Cairo, the Islamic culture and the Mosques are examples of excellent architecture, The Coptic culture of Egypt is equally impressive and rich with beautiful architecture, history. This hotel offers a very good tour service. Our driver Mohammed was a very good driver with good knowledge of the road system in Cairo.
