Great location for me as I was working in the Port of Cap d'Ail. If your planning to see Monaco then remember this is about a 20-30 minute walk! As you have to get over the hill to the other side of the bay. But you can drive to Monaco easily in less then 10 minutes through the tunnels. The hotel is a little pricey and car parking is expensive, but its due to the area and you have to expect it really! But the hotel is good and clean and comfortable.

Hotel Flore was a great choice for our two nights in the area. A beautiful little cove 10 mins from the heart of Nice, it was the best of both worlds. The only downsides were it was difficult to get there and the manager of the hotel, though he spoke impeccable English, always acted exasperated by any inquiry and was generally unhelpful. Also, the breakfast says included but it's a bit of a bait and switch bc they charged me 50 euros for 2 days, 2 people! He called it a "service charge" and refused to budge on it... Hmm.

The Villa Maria is excellently kept in an old Italian Villa. The rooms are clean, with cool antique furniture and the staff is attentive. Be aware that it is a European hotel- so the showers are in the tub with no curtain, and breakfast is the same every day- but it is at the top of what you should expect unless you are staying in a super-luxe resort type place. We stayed there for 10 days and loved every second. It is a truly special place. Be warned as well- for those with limited mobility, the hotel is at the top of a steep hill, my 70 year old mother occasionally found the walk home a little challenging, but was able to push through- though people in wheelchairs or severely limited might want to stay somewhere not on a hill. Otherwise, it's a great way to work off all the pasta and wine you will have while in town.

A very good hotel. Location is excellent. Near the train station and Nice-bound bus station. All important areas near the hotel. The mananger is very friendly, warm and helpful. He always helps guests. Good experience. Fully satisfied. Always reccomend this hotel.

This hotel might have been a great hotel, 50 years ago, but it needs to be fully renovated. We felt being in an abandoned house... Waiters in the restaurant were ignoring us and, as an example, we needed 20 minutes to be served coffee in the restaurant for the breakfast. It only happened after several reminders! Dressing new tables was more important […] than serving waiting customers. We will never go back to this hotel and definitely don't recommend it, except if people are looking for an old building, old service and live a different experience.... Not us! Read more

Leuk hotel met statige, klassieke uitstraling,het interieur is wel hier en daar versleten,maar dat mag de pret niet drukken. Het is allemaal wel schoon! Uitstekend ontbijt. Zeer goede ligging nabij centrum San Remo en stranden, leuke dagtrips mogelijk naar Monaco etc.

Slitet hotell men otrevlig personal, inte värt pengarna. Enda som var ok var frukosten. Kändes som tiden och underhållet (!) stått stilla sen 40-talet. Luftkonditioneringen var en fläkt som inte hjälpte mycket mot värmen, kylskåp som alstrade värme. Vi blev besvikna på detta hotell.

Magnifique hôtel début du 20e siècle. Très bien tenu, chambre spacieuse et confortable, terrasse avec vue splendide sur la mer. Très belle piscine d'eau de mer. Plage à 2mn à pied. Seul problème : le bruit de la circulation toute la nuit. Heureusement double vitrage efficace (mais climatisation bruyante). Bilan très positif, je reviendrai.

Avec un charme quelque peu suranné, cet hôtel donne une vision très agréable de la Riviera italienne, surtout avec la chambre donnant sur la mer. Hôtel agréable, personnel accueillant et serviable. Seul petit dommage : la piscine n'ouvrait que le 1er juin. Mais il y a la mer en contrebas !

Insgesamt hat das Hotel sicher mal strahlendere Zeiten erlebt und mit einigem Aufwand könnte es einen möglichen 2-ten Frühling erfahren, sifern die Verantwortlichen genügend Geld und Mühe in diverse Dinge bereit zu inverstieren sind... Lage ist recht praktisch an der Hauptstrasse gelegen, wenige gehminuten zum eigentlichen Zentrum. Aussengelände ist […] ok, Pool, Liegen, kleine BAr etc. Das Hotel an sich bräuchte defintiv einen neuen Aussenasnstrich und innen müßte an vielen Ecken diverses ausgebessert oder komplett erneuert werden. Das hinter Nebengebäude befindet sich zur Zeit auch in Renovierung,sodaß die Schritte vermutlich schon in Angriff genommen wurden. Die Glanzzeit des Hotels liegt schon einige JAhre zurück, Möbel, Aufzüge, Tv Gerät etc ist schon recht altmodisch. Ob der Hinweis auf dieversen Schildern im Hotel wirklich ernst gemeint ist, zum Abendessen im Hoteleigenene Restaurant mit Krawatte und Anzug erscheinen zu müssen ist von mir nicht klar zu beanworten, da ich nur das Frühstück dort eingenommen habe. Sollte es jedoch tatsächlich so sein, finde ich das leicht abgehoben, weil so weit her ist es nun wirklich nicht mit dem Hotel und dem Wunsch nach Etikette. Da solten die Verantwortlichen aber noch die ein oder andere Schippe draufpacken um dem eigenen Anspruch gerecht zu werden. Für 1-2 Tage und bei einem entsprechend günstigen Zimmerpreis kann man aber dort absteigen wenn man sich nicht zu arg blenden läßt von den 4 Sternen die das Hotel für sich beansprucht. Read more

Hotel datato ma molto ben tenuto. Non c'e' tecnologia, ancora la chiave metallica per la camera, TV con il tubo catodico, ma la stanza era molto pulita, splendida vista mare, bagno molto spazioso. Hôtel et chambres très défraîchies (sauf la SDB neuve). Je pense que l'hôtel est en cours de rénovation. Sinon, il faudrait l'envisager car il ne mérite pas ses 4 * à l'heure actuelle, plutôt 3. Sinon, grand lit confortable, personnel accueillant.
