I would have never stayed at this hotel if I would have known the bell boys would not be helpful in obtaining a taxi. The service overall was more in line with a 3 star hotel. A huge disappointment and a waste of $409 per night. I have never spent do much on a hotel room in my life but my sister is visiting from Zimbabwe and I decided to treat her. I chose the Intercon because I have an Ambassador Gold Card and looked forward to all the perks. What a huge disappointment. This hotel was not what I expected for a 4-5 star hotel. Check in was an issue, a hotel employee changed my reservation in their computer system so it took me over 20 minutes to check in after an 8 hour trip. I had dry cleaning and laundry service and I had very expensive clothes ruined after they where laundered against my specific instructions and […] asking the bellman twice to be careful not to launder them. I waited even longer just to check out then to check in because there where only 2 people working at 11am and then was almost left at the curb by the bellman as my car pulled up with 2 suitcases a briefcase and a garment bag, didn't even offer to help just walked away. The room service was good, rooms where clean, except one day when I got back in the afternoon, housekeeping had left a dirty towel soaking wet in my bathroom sink.
