Arrived to a "made" though dirty room. The toilet, and seat had residue and there was small amounts of garbage in the bathroom wastebasket. I informed the staff, they acknowledged (but not really). The next day I arrived back to my room in the late afternoon, after a long day of meetings to find the room the way I left it, housekeeping never came. I […] called and they quickly sent someone up to clean, while I was trying to rest in the room, very inconvenient. The next day, the same thing... Housekeeping never came to 'make' the room. Amazing deal for the price. All the amenities you'd expect from a much pricier hotel. Room itself was very clean and comfortable, positively spacy by HK budget traveller standards. Smack dab in the middle of Wan Chai. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Well there's a room service menu BUT no one answers the phone and the front desk seemed confused that I asked? Room are fine for one person but small with a nice bathroom! Finding seating in the breakfast room requires early bird timing Good internet connections!

Hong Kong has extremely expensive hotels so we were really pleased by the size of the room we received for the rate we paid. It helped that we were upgraded to the iBusiness room, which was at least three times larger than the three other budget-minded places in Hong Kong we've stayed at (including a full studio apartment!) and larger than numerous […] hotel rooms we've stayed at in the U.S., Europe, Australia, Taiwan, Tokyo, and South Korea; it also had huge windows with a view of the city and mountains. The area was great--lively both day and night. The tram was essentially right out front, so it was easy to hop on and take it down to Central or up to Causeway Bay/Happy Valley. The tram was also an easy sightseeing vehicle--we could take it anywhere along its length and know that we couldn't get lost since every tram passes the hotel. The MTR was also an easy walk from the hotel. The breakfast was continental style, with coffee, some wrapped pastries, and fresh fruit; we preferred eating at one of the many nearby restaurants. The only possible negative: Since the bathroom is made of glass and there's no sound insulation, people who are shy about their bodily functions may find the set up uncomfortable. We'd definitely stay in an iBusiness room again. Read more

This is a nice, new hotel in Wan Chai, just a few blocks from the MTR - so it's super convenient. I stayed here on a 24-hour layover. I was very pleased with my stay at the Regal iClub. It is well designed, well run, and has a nice clean modern interior design that I enjoy. The club room offered coffee and snacks at all times, as well as a basic continental breakfast that I tried once, and then opted insead for nearby Starbucks on the next 2 mornings. Free internet worked well (not […] clear if that was a one-time thing or if it will always be free -- check when you book.) They provided a plug adaptor when I needed one. I didn't try the laundry service. I never had a problem getting a cab there when I needed one, including at rush hour. It is a short walk to the Wanchai MTR stop. Price is very reasonable -- they focus on providing good quality rooms and basic services and holding down their costs as a result. I will definitely make this my hotel of choice when I need to stay on Hong Kong side. Read more

In the heart of Hong Kong Island city center. This hotel has full time elderly residents here also. All of them were very polite. Hotel staff was very helpful in every way. pros: A couple blocks from subway station, one minute walk. Vivid neighborhood, where eateries are open right across the street, 24/7. Room is very clean, with brand new modern style interior decoration. Room is relatively spacious. This is a small biz oriented hotel that is in a great location between Causeway Bay and Central. Hotel rooms are not too big, but if u upgrade to business room the size is descent. General service of the hotel is not bad, with only one dislike of a non hotel related entity on the 2nd floor of the building.

The Regal iClub is conveniently located in Wan Chai, a short walk to subway, buses, trams, and ferry. Fancy restaurants - the Pawn, the American Restaurant - within walking distance also. Then there are things that can improve. There is no hotel voicemail system (yup, I am old-fashioned). Incoming calls can only get thru if the reception staff have a chance to pick up. We had a bit of trouble with this issue. Then, the night before departure, when we ask about getting a taxi in the morning to the Airport Express train HK station, the staff assured us that they could get us one easily. When we checked out, the morning staff said that taxi's at that hour would only take us on long hauls (all the way to the airport, not what we want!) I was frustrated with this inconsistency. So I just walked out onto Johnston Rd and luckily hailed a taxi. It's not good when basic local transportation arrangements according to hotel staff got screwed up. Read more
