"Very Good Hotel and Close to the Stadium"
Very Good.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good location overpriced"
Good location that's about it. TV didn't work, smallest room I have stayed in for that price range. Staff just ok, did their job, nothing more nothing less, would not stay there again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Marriott Courtyard Downtown Seattle"
Overall great hotel and very helpful staff. Hotel was convenient for our stay but is on the southern edge of downtown. Walked to the Nordstrom main store. Several good restaurants within walking distance and ferrys are close also. If walking east, it's uphill rather steeply but the north and south directions are flat. Quite satisfied with hotel and […] amenities. Would stay there again Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Close to the train station and airport ... Room was huge and comfortable, staff was first classGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel - ugly building next door"
I had a wonderful stay, only complaint was the vacant, vandalized building next door that my room looked right at. Broken windows, trash in the building, I just always felt like someone could be watching from that building and I kept my blinds shut the entire stayGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We visited Seattle to spend the 4 day Thanksgiving holiday with our son who is an Army Ranger stationed at Fort Lewis........location was good, rooms comfortable and we were upgraded to the 14th floor in a corner room with great views of the city. A bit noisy, but understood that as a element of a Downtown hotel..Genuine Expedia guest review
"Clean, modern hotel. Would stay again."
Beautiful older building on the outside that has been renovated to modern clean inside. The location is good, close to bus routes, parking lot across the street. However if you want to be closer to the shopping district you might want to consider something in the area of the Sheraton.Genuine Expedia guest review
"convenience and comfort"
Pleasant! A great convenient place to experience the major attractions in Seattle.Genuine Expedia guest review
Nice, wouldhave been good if complimentary breakfast we're includedGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Was only there overnight so didn't really get a chance to check out everything but the staff was very friendly. Room was nice and had no problems. Wi-fi worked well but parking was expensive.Genuine Expedia guest review
"great location, friendly staff"
The hotel was in walking distance to the LIN K rail to/from SEATAC which was really convenient. Also close to the waterfront and other dt locations. The staff were super friendly and gave awesome recommendations on places to eat . Got a single room which was smaller than we anticipated, but was clean and very comfortable. What a great hotel! It was super close to CLink Field, and all the Seattle sites! We walked to Pike Place Market, the Waterfront, and to the Pyramid Ales on game day. We had breakfast up on Capital Hill for only a $10 cab ride. Great location, excellent service, nice clean rooms. I'd stay here again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not what I expected"
Booked a king standard, and expected a king bed. Got the smallest room I've ever been in at a Courtyard, with a bed with the proportions of a king (length and width the same), but actually a shortened queen in actual size. The bathroom while large had the strangest proportions, the toilet was rightnext to the shower, but the tp roll placement I had […] to stretch to reach, but there was LOTS of open space otherwise... Luckily I only stayed one night. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
It was nice, the staff was very cool being we had hundreds of people there at late - early morning hours.Genuine Expedia guest review
Nice room. Breakfast at cafeteria in hotel was nasty. It is expensive for what you get in other hotels as complimentary. We went up the street one block to a nice restaurant - highly recommended. Nice parking attendants.Genuine Expedia guest review
We stayed at several more expensive hotels in Seattle during our vacation, and were pleasantly surprised by the Courtyard for its's location, friendly staff, comfortable rooms and dining options. We also used the train (Light Rail) which is just around the corner. We will definitely stay here again!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice and clean"
Nice hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful. In an older section of Seattle with several things to do and see close by. The Pike street market is a little bit of a hike but most should be able to do it easily.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Had a wonderful time!"
Would come back and stay at the Courtyard Downtown Pioneer Square. It was a very nice hotel in the middle of everything and had wonderful service.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place to stay if you take the train from PDX"
It was only a few block walk to the hotel. The hotel is in the historic Alaska Building and it's in great shape. We took the Underground Tour which is only a block away. It was a perfect way to spend a short weekend in SEA.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to everything."
We arrived early on A busy Saturday hoping to check in early .we were told that our room would not be ready until 4:00. The Hotel was completely booked so we were understanding that an early check in would not be available. We checked our bags and left a phone # with the front desk and were called when the room was ready. When we checked in we took […] our key operated elevator to room 715. Our room was a King room with a hide a bed and overlooked Cherry street. We were pleasantly surprised with a spacious and comfortable room. The bathroom was very nice, I liked that the bathroom was one room since I don't care for the mirror and sink located outside of the bathroom. The King bed was very nice and cozy, I liked the down comforter but the pillows were flat and obviously wore out. The hide a bed was not very comfy and the bedding was not in the room so we had to call for it and it was promptly brought to our room. A very nice single cup coffee maker came in handy and the coffee included was great! No room service but the Café was very easy to get togo food from, and the food was very good. All in all very enjoyable and close to shopping and sports events. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great hotel in the middle of the city."
We stayed at the hotel as part of a celebration for my daughter's birthday. We had a one-bedroom suite so the two girls would have their space. The room was great, clean, and well-appointed. The only real issue was it was not initially equipped with the correct number of towels, glasses, and amenities for four people. In fact, the girls had to make […] 3 trips to the lobby to get adequate linens for the fold out sofa bed, and additional amenities. It seems a no-brainer that when you know four people will be in a room, you supply the room with adequate items. Usually one will find extra bedding (pillows) in a closet, but none were there. "Do not eat at the Bistro."
Although the hotel was under construction outside, the inside was fantastic. Our room was very comfortable and the staff was very friendly. Do not eat at the bistro. I have had much better service at two bit diners. The food took forever to come out and I had to call the waiter over every time someones drink ran low. It's the smallest tip I can remember […] giving in the last ten years. There are many places close by to eat for less money and better service. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice Hotel in downtown Seattle"
Clean, spacious rooms conveniently located in Pioneer squareGenuine Expedia guest review
We never rented a car. We walked and used public transit everywhere. Great location with many fun bars, reastaurants, sights and neighborhoods close by. Very urban and metropolitan.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great for business"
Good internet, clean comfy bed, nice desk and chair that you can sit in for a while. One block from Pioneer Square, one block from the LINK railway to the airport. The restaurant is decent too. The pool would be fun for kids, but don't expect to be swimming any laps unless all you like to do is flip turns. I had a great experience at this hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Road Trip / Sightseeing"
Located in downtown Seattle in Pioneer Dist.- short walk to Pikes Public Market, sports arena, lots of restaurants etc. Room was very comfortable with nice contemporary furnishings. Giving a 4 overall rating due to the mandatory valet parking fee of $34 (!) per day which includes the valet parking tax, but not the valet's tips. *Full disclosure: I don't […] appreciate having to pay the hotel for parking as an additional guest charge. Use one of the various parking garages nearby for far less. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great Downtown Location"
Wonderfully situated hotel in the downtown district. Close to Pioneer Square, the waterfront, the King St rail and light-rail stations, restaurants, Pike St Market, museums, aquarium and other attractions. Can be easily accessed from Sea-Tac Airport via light-rail line for under $3! Pioneer Square Station is only 1 block away; easily walked even with […] luggage. Room was a bit cramped although very nicely appointed. Bathroom was quite large. On-site restaurant appeared to be very adequate, although we did not dine there. Lobby was adequate & front desk staff were superb. Would definitely return here. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The Courtyard Marriott was really close to the stadium, shopping and great restaurants. The staff was very helpful and the beds were comfortable.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great proximity to everything Seattle."
The immediate area is improving. Our room was clean and quiet. We were on the back side with absolutely no view though other than of the vacant brick building next door. The front of the hotel is still under construction or refurbishing. The train and other transit is super close and we'll take that next time as parking was valet only and $28 plus $6 […] taxes per night! Still, was a super weekend playing tourist in downtown Seattle. "sleeping in Seattle"
The hotel staff was always accomodating and ready to answer any questions. Rooms are spacious and the bed was very comfortable, especially after a day/night on the city. The only drawback is the location, many pushy homeless people only a block away when the sun goes down.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Beautiful view, large room, clean, friendly"
Beautiful view, large room, clean, friendly front desk offering lots of aid in directions, bed was heavenly soft.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Near to some tourist spots."
Wifi service too slow.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to the Home of the Seattle Seahawks"
The staff bent over backwards to take care of our requests and never failed to satisfy. Had seen reviews stating that the rooms were small, I have to disagree, the rooms are very generous in size. Besides, how much time do you spend in the room when you have the entire city of Seattle to explore and eat your way thru. Only complaint we have, is the […] hours of the lounge. It would be nice if it opened earlier and stayed open later. We will be staying here for all the games we come to see...GO SEAHAWKS!!!!!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Very nice rooms, well located for pretty much everything the only let down was the lack of a sauna or steam room to unwind in really. The pool is barely large enough to swim in and no bubbles.Considering there was a game on the hotel was reasonably priced.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The Lite-Rail is just around the corner from the hotel, very convenient when coming from Sea-Tac. Its about a 30 minute ride for 2.75 a person. Got to the hotel before check in and was able to get a room right away. We stayed Saturday night and went to a Mariners game, which the stadium is a 15 minute walk. They have in room coffee, but the coffee downstairs […] is way better, or there is a Starbucks right across the way. They are doing a face lift of the hotel, it wasn't inconvenient but we did stay over the weekend when no workers were on the scaffolding. They have a van that takes you to the cruise ships for a reasonable price, which was awesome. Our room was clean and fresh, the bed was just right and the pillows were a fluffy. The wharf is a 5-10 minute walk and the Space Needle might be a 20-30 minute walk. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Pioneer Square and waterfront"
1 1/2 blocks to Pioneer Square. Very comfortable bed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Comfortable enough hotel within one block of Pioneer Square and easy walk to stadiums. We had a quiet room facing brick walls - not much of a view but no street noise and we were able to leave window open at night for fresh air. We will consider staying here again when we visit Seattle.Genuine Expedia guest review
Outstanding staff! Some construction going on in the front, but didn't interfere. Great location for sport events and sightseeing Pioneer Square. Can't beat the price. Will recommend and go again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Located in Crack Central!"
small room but clean and updated. Was not happy with the location but they did provide some safety features like having to use your key to go up the elevator.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Don't Stay Here"
The area is a bad neighborhood with people begging for money and hookers asking you for work. There was a very loud generator type noise outside my window that woke me up at 9:00AM and went until I left to check out at noon. I told the staff and all they said was okay it's just a noise in the alley. I was up late the night before for a mariners game […] so I was tired. Don't stay here. Not worth your money. "Nice hotel close to downtown"
My husband and I stayed at this hotel with our 7 year old daughter. Our room was great it had plenty of space for all of us. We found the staff to be extremely helpful especially when looking for a child friendly seafood restaurant.Genuine Expedia guest review
We stay here when we go to the Seahawk games! Excellent hotel.....staff is super!!!!! Always provide us with our check in time to make sure we make it to the game on time. Love this place and highly recommend!!!!Genuine Expedia guest review
"either city or water view was the room choice"
We had a city view room....It was true city we looked onto an old brick building and a alley way. But other than that it was great. Wonderful location, Just down the street from Baseball and Football stadiums (reason we choose this hotel). Room was clean and fresh smelling. Will stay again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Bad Customer Service"
Coming from Canada and being there for the first night was bad! I had called for bed sheets and it did not arrive. I called the front desk 4 times and the 4th time someone finally came with sheets and covers after i hung up. This was at 10:45 and we did not get the sheets till 11:45??? Awful!!! There excuse was the phones were ringing off the hook?? […] which is BULL! Also another one was only 1 housekeeper was on?!! Serious??? Thats another BULL!! "taxi drive for anyone who cannot walk very far"
People were very nice. When arrived at 3pm, only one of 3 rooms was ready. We were suppose to leave hotel around 5 pm. All 5 of us waited for our rooms to be ready in one room for 2 hours. At 4:55pm my room was ready and I had to change and get ready to leave for rehearsal dinner immediately. The rooms were quiet and I think recently remodeled and clean. […] The location was not as close as I wanted to pier 56 area, which wouldn't be a problem but my mother could not walk that far and therefore, we took MANY taxi rides!$$$The gym was good, could use another bicycle, not recliner bike. Seemed very clean. Taxi service was very good! The location to the lite rail was great! Shuttle service would improve this location. Price for hotel was not great as we had added expenses with transportation. Liked the availability of coffee/tea in lobby. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
