"Close to Pioneer Square Light Rail stop"
The hotel is very well maintained, and easily accessible to the light rail from the airport and is also close to the train station. The free internet access and comfortable bedding and large room were all very nice.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent downtown hotel"
Overall it was an excellent hotel and experience and I am fairly critical when it is not. My only caution is the $28 per night parking...normal for downtown I believe.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"great place to stay"
Friendly valet, fast check in, clean room, awesome location. We were going to a game, and walked to the stadium. Tons of bars and eats to choose from (and coffee place literally across the street). This place has a pool but we didn't get a chance to check it out. The room is larger than the average hotel room, very comfortable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Big City Feel for Mid-Level Price"
Very pleased to be upgraded to mini-suite on 15th floor. Great views from two sides in corner room. Service was excellent, beginning with fast check-in despite crowded lobby. Great location, within walking distance of Pike Place Market, Pioneer Square, Belltown, waterfront and Klondike-Gold Rush NHP. Nice Seattle's Best coffee shop right across the […] street. Hotel has a big city feel, unlike most Marriott Courtyards. My only complaint was very steep valet parking rate. After tax this can really add up and there aren't really any other long-term parking options in the neighborhood. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Very disappointing experience"
Upon arrival, had to break into valet's conversation with each other to get service. At check-in one of the staff was wearing a football jersey. The grout in the tile around the toilet was stained with urine. When we asked to have the room serviced one day, all they did was change the towels, no bed making, vacuuming,or fresh glasses, etc. Went to the […] restaurant called The Bistro and waited for over an hour and 20 minutes to finally get the worst hamburger in the world. It was one step above gravel from over cooking, the bacon was as hard as a rock, and it was cold. Except for one waiter named Spenser, the restaurant staff was inept, rude, and acted as though they could care less about the customers. Nobody in our party could finish their terrible meal and, although they comp'd the meal, it was the worst dining experience I've ever had at a Marriott property. I'll NEVER return. "Very nice! Fans are all wrong though!"
Arrived at 12;00 PM and was greeted by a very nice and informative valet attendant. checked in early, our room was ready 2 hours early! there was three very nice elevaters to choose from ( key operated) . our room was a very nice queen with an awesome city view! we could see quest field! ( room 403) the beds had down bedding with over sized stuffed […] pillows, very comfortable beds. The flat screen T.V. pulled out and swivled so it could be viewed from both beds. The furniture was very nice. a single brew coffee maker and a mini fridge was included. ( the coffee was very good). The bathroom was very small and it had no fan! we did try the biestro and the food was really good. although no room service was available they pack up your order very well. The room was chilly and a fan was blowing all night and we could not turn it off. so other than the no fan in bathroom and a overactive one pointed at our beds the hotel was great and I would stay again. "Great updated hotel, great price and staff"
Our hotel stay here was great! The staff was very helpful, the room was well laid out and felt very cozy even though it was small. Our room and bathroom was immaculate, the shower head was heavenly, and this hotel offers one of the least expensive valet service of other surrounding hotels and has free wi-fi. Overall great experience.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good for a compact business use"
The room is mostly comfortably set. The only exception is air conditioning. Hotel staffs are kind and speedy. Location of the hotel is very convenient to move from/to SEATAC by rail and many offices.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Loud room"
The room was very nice along with all of the staff. However, it was extremely loud. We could hear everyone in the hallways, and outside. I'm sure we heard at least 7 different police cars/sirens throughout the night, so not a very restful sleep.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean and comfortable hotel"
The hotel is great, the staff is very friendly and very helpful. I needed a rollerbed and they happily delivered it within minutes of the request. The only thing I would say could improve is the speed and efficiency of the elevators. I travel quite a bit for work (this was a non-work trip), and one of my pet peeves is if the elevators cause you to […] wait minutes before they show up. We were on the 12th floor, and waited over 5 minutes for a car to show up out of three elevator shafts. This could be improved. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great hotel within walking distance of the Clink"
would stay again. room a little small, and part of our view was a brick wall, but great location, comfy beds, and check-in was quick. car had to be valet parked at a remote location, so be sure you get all the stuff you need out first.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Excellent!!"
I flew in for the Dallas Cowboy game in which my boys got the beat down of their life which truly was a downer, BUT The hotel was fantastic. The staff was amazing, the rooms were top notch with a surreal view of the city, and most of all, I was impressed with the location. I walked to the stadium in about 10 - 15 minutes and there were plenty of bars […] to stop and drink on the way there. The Seattle fans were really nice (before the game of course) and the city is beautiful. I highly recommend this hotel for wanting to go to an event at the stadium or if you just wanna enjoy this awesome city. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"In a word - noisy"
It is in the heart of downtown which makes it convenient and loud. We were in the Cherry st back corner, 5th floor. Room shaking dumpster trucks at 7 am. Lots of service trucks, too. Being downtown also means lots of sirens. I know they can't do anything about that but be aware. The windows are large and double hung and let in lots of light. And noise. […] If you are on the southeast corner above the 10th floor you might find it different from my description. Housekeeping missed us one day, but the staff was properly mortified when they found out. Not a real big deal, and we did have to fight them off from cleaning our room then and there. Other brief encounters with staff were pleasant and professional. One of the elevators was out of service for more than 24 hours during our stay and it really caused a jam. Since we were on 5 we just started taking the stairs. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Great game-stay option"
We stayed at the Courtyard during our trip to watch the Mariners. Easy walking distance from train station and Safeco field (15 minutes) and so nice to fall into the comfortable bed after 11 pm and an extra inning ball game. "Great Hotel"
You can tell the hotel went through a recent renovation and the room was very comfortable. Large windows and very comfortable beds with duvet covers. We weren't in the hotel very much but it was great to come back after a long day to a comfortable room. Had everything we needed and the staff was very helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We enjoyed our stay. It was a nice clean place to stay. The staff was friendly and accomadating. Carpet was stained, and there wasn't a bathroom fan and the television was not very big, room had plug outlet pushed in. But all in all it was a very pleasant place to stay. Only wish it had a hot tub on site :-) Convenient to the waterfront, pikes place […] and many other wonderful sites. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Above and beyond my expectations"
This hotel was in a prime downtown location near lots of shopping and sight-seeing. We had a wonderful breakfast in their cafe. We were able to get directions from our barista to places that we wanted to visit. The best part of our stay was the "service after the stay". My daughter accidentally left her pillow in our room upon check-out. This wouldn't […] be a problem if it weren't for the fact that her teddy bear and baby blanket were stuffed inside the pillow. I phoned the hotel the next day. They were able to locate the pillow and offered to send it out to us right away. I would definitely recommend this hotel and we will definitely stay here in the future. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Nice but Spendy!"
The hotel was only a 5-8 minute walk to safe-co/qwest fields. Everything was updated and clean. There was was $28 parking fee with a $6 tax fee. WOW! $34 to park our car. No vending machines. The $3 sodas were in a small room off the front lobby. Will not be staying there again.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Good quality at a relatively good price"
The decent hotels in downtown Seattle will cost quite a bit, but the Courtyard was affordable and still very good quality. The staff was very nice and helpful, especially the valet staff. It's an easy walk to good restaurants and sights, but, watch out for the homeless people present during all hours. Most seemed nice enough, but there were several […] that looked somewhat dangerous and even one that was loudly swearing obscenities at passers-by. However, that is Seattle for you and not the Courtyard's fault. The in-hotel restaurant is very good and they actually have good showerheads, unlike some Seattle area hotels that have weak, low-flow shower heads. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Seattle"
Several times we had questions about what to see and do and several of the front desk staff were very informative. Parking was expensive. You can actually park at one of the city lots for much less. Find out which ones offer in-and-out privileges, although once you park it's so easy to walk around town.Genuine Expedia guest review
