"Great location for seeing Seattle."
Was a great location for using public transportation or walking to sites. Our room was ready and we were able to check in mid morning which was very nice. Overall a great experience.Genuine Expedia guest review
"nice hotel good location"
checked in fine. the building is older and this means smaller rooms. While nice inside, not much of a view from our room. also means small elevators. the restaurant is more of a bar, snack bar. I would eat meals at one of the walking distance eateries. enjoyed our stay.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Location is downtown SEA but not the greatest area"
The location is downtown in more of the old town bar scene close to the sports Stadiums. There were not to many casual amenities like quickie marts open after 8 or 9pm.Genuine Expedia guest review
Good hotel, local to many things. A bit pricey but clean and very friendly serviceGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to safeco field"
This was a great hotel with beautiful rooms and friendly staff. We stayed here because it was a nice walk to safeco field. I'd stay here again but a newcomer should be aware of these minor issues with the hotel: 1. We used valet service. They gave us a ticket when we gave them our car. The ticket said to text when we wanted our car and to show our ticket […] when the car arrived. The valet got our car but never asked for our ticket. This is a serious security issue that should be fixed. 2. Our room was beautiful and clean. There was a sitting chair in it that had a large water stain on it. I'm sure that could be cleaned up in the future. 3. Our room overlooked the street on 2nd. We left the windows open at night to catch the nice sea breeze but had to close them because of all the loud traffic noise. 5. The bar inside the Bistro was fun but the bartenders experience was very low. I asked for a vodka martini with a twist and got a vodka martini with olives. The happy hour menu prices were great and we had the garlic parm fries and the dish was huge and delicious. 6. At checkin we asked the front desk to hold the room with a credit card and that we would pay cash upon checkout. They agreed but we were presented with a paid bill under our door in the morning that had been billed to our credit card. Graciously they fixed it but it would be nice if that didn't happen again. 7. The breakfast at the bistro was good except for the bacon. UGH. It had definitely been reheated many times. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"walking distance to Pike St and Safeco Field"
Loved the hotel but $37 to park our car on top of the nightly fee was too much for us. Coffee in the lobby was $2 a cup. Maybe that is normal but I have never experienced that before. Otherwise everything was perfect.Genuine Expedia guest review
Had to ask for linens for sofa bed three times before receiving linens. Was interrupted 3 times by housekeeping knocking on door before 11 am check out time.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Response by Courtyard Seattle Downtown Pioneer Square Lisa, thank you for taking time to bring this situation to my attention. Our goal is not to interrupt our guests stay yet to enhance it with thoughtful timing of service delivery...we did not meet your reasonable expectation on this occasion and I do apologize. We will use your experience as a learning opportunity to improve on our ability to meet our guest’s needs. Thank you again for your business and taking time to help us improve with your candid feedback.
"Convenient Walking Distance to Most Everything"
Loved Seattle. Walked to Pike Market, the monorail, the Pioneer Square neighborhood, the waterfront, the water taxi to West Seattle, and the Safeco Field baseball park. Neighborhood seemed a little sketchy really late at night, but otherwise lots of foot traffic from taverns and sports beyond 10:00 pm.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good hotel -- service spotty"
We had difficulties with checking in and the desk actually calling the promised taxi. The location is great and the sfaff very nice.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Perfect Location, Perfect Experience!!"
The Courtyard Hotel location was perfect for the Seahawks game. The Hotel staff were very friendly, The Bistro restaurant staff went the extra mile to make our stay very enjoyable!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Quick & Easy"
Less than five minutes after I stepped through the front doors, I was in my room and already strippin' down for a shower. The staff were very friendly for the short time I interacted. I'm not really much of a social person, so the privacy was very much appreciated. Housekeeping didn't intrude, they just silently came and went and kept me in clean towels […] and all, kudos to them. In most hotels, usually I can hear them through the walls knocking around on other doors, but here, I didn't hear a peep. The bed was super comfortable, the wi-fi was free. Ice is available on every 3rd floor. The hotel is only one block away from the Pioneer Station on 3rd Ave, so getting around was a breeze. Didn't care much for the steep hill on the way to 3rd Ave. but hey, it's Seattle. It comes with the territory! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good location, friendly staff"
The hotel worked well for the two nights I stayed. I arrived very late the first night and was still greeted by a friendly valet attendant. Unfortunately, there wasn't many (only one) self park options available late at night; apparently the garages close around 11:00pm (unusual). I was again greeted by a friendly staff member at the front desk, who […] helped with the inconvenience of no TV in my room - previous guests issue - by offering complimentary breakfast. Unfortunately, my room was in a 2nd floor inside corner, with only a view of brick walls and rooftop equipment - ask for a room with a view if possible. It wasn't a problem since I was there to see the city, not sit in the room. Their breakfast and late night food was good at the "Bistro". The location, right by Pioneer Square, is great for football/baseball games and there are some good restaurants/bars nearby. It's about a 1/2 - 1 hour walk to Pikes Place Market and quite a but further to other attractions. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very expensive compared to location and service"
The hotel is located close to a homeless shelter. There was not enough shampoo/conditioner for one person use.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Love the Location and front staff, only problem was with room being made up late in the afternoon every dayGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great hotel within walking distance to everything"
Our stay was great--everyone was friendly and knowledgeable, and went the extra mile to make our visit great. We were upgraded to a bay view at no additional cost. The Bistro food was yummy and the staff made great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. We would come again in a heartbeat.Genuine Expedia guest review
"One night in Seattle"
Just one complain! The door key lock did not operate properly and we neede to bring the desc clerk up to open our room door. The lock could be fixed. We planned to go out for a short walk but did not because of difficulties with the lock. Otherwise we enjoyed the nice view from 10th floor to the sea.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Pre-cruise in Seattle"
The hotel was ideally located with the added benefit of an indoor pool. The Pioneer Square area is a destination in itself - lots of history, the Underground tour. We were within walking distance of the waterfront, Public Market, lots of restaurants, and if you're in the mood for a 1.6 mile or so hike, the Space Needle. As a bonus, the hotel had a reasonably […] priced shuttle service to the cruise pier. I'd stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comfortable hotel in great location"
Hiotel location is great. Close to attractions and restaurants. However, I was disappointed that there was no safe in the room.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel in close proximity to a lot of places"
Location was excellent. Room was clean and had large windows. Downside was that the view was a scary alley and a building with blocked off windows and doors. Also, check-in was a hassle. Arrived early and it was nice that they can keep your luggage for you while you go explore the city, but when I came back, the room was still not ready until after […] 45 minutes after 3pm (check-in time). The staff however were courteous abut it so am not too sore about it anymore. tihihi. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Noisy at night (pedestrian & traffic)"
Wonderful, helpful staff. Very clean. Access in lobby to multiple computers and printer. Though 2 blocks from homeless park - felt very safe even at night (2 valets always at curbside). They were in the midst of exterior restoration that in no way impacted our stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great location, walking distance to downtown, waterfront and stadiums.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel - Pioneer Square could be cleaner"
hotel was nice but full of loud, obnoxious kids. City is dirty and full of homeless people who are very direct about asking for money.Genuine Expedia guest review

Michelle @ front desk was quite pleasant, professional & helpful. Even recognized me at Mariners game. Will come back hopefully soon!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Good location for ball game and pike place market.Genuine Expedia guest review
The Courtyard Pioneer Square is conveniently located and is within walking distance of many popular Seattle attractions and restaurants and quaint pubs!! Hotel also provided computer access to obtain airport boarding passes, etc. which made it super convenient!! Check in and check out staff were always friendly and helpful!Genuine Expedia guest review
My friend were in Seattle to see a baseball game. This hotel is very convenient to everything in Seattle. One block from the light rail, 15 minute walk to the stadiums (light rail also goes there). A few short blocks to the waterfront area (great seafood!). Rooms were good, beds comfortable, and service was good. Price was a bit high, but seemed in […] line with other hotels in the area. Great stay overall. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was in the last phase of renovation and had scaffolding across the front but that did not in any way distract from the comfort of the hotel. The bedroom was extremely clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Pioneer Square was right around the corner and we were easily within walking distance of Pike Place market and the wharf. "Modernized classic downtown"
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was quiet and comfortable. Everything worth seeing in Seattle is very accessible from this location, with most sights being in reasonable walking distance. The only part of the experience that I wasn't impressed with was the restaurant. We had breakfast on Sunday and had to stand in line to order and couldn't […] get a bloody mary or a mimosa. The food took awhile to come out. That said, it was pretty good when it finally arrived. :) Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good location for Safeco or CenturyLink"
Stayed Mon through Fri primarily to watch baseball at Safeco field. About a 15-20 minute walk to CenturyLink stadium or Safeco field. Also reasonable walking distance to Pike Place Market. Price and location were selling points for me. A few quirks like not having extra toilet paper, a couple broken elevators, and in progress renovations were annoying […] in the moment, but easily forgiven in hindsight. Rooms were clean and well kept. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
We were able to walk to Safeco for a Mariners game without a problem. Loved being so close to all the bars and breakfast places. It was great to not have to use our car all weekend! Felt very safe the whole time.Genuine Expedia guest review
Needed a hotel downtown in Seattle ideally close to the Space Needle and Aquarium. Thought this was close but turned out to be many blocks from both. Was able to walk to the nearby Westlake Mall and take the Tram to the Space Needle park. Still needed a shuttle to get to the Pier for the ship. The Hotel was under reconstruction and limited in rooms […] and facilities. They had a small pool but not hot tub, a nice exercise room and small restaurant. Room was nice a bit compact especially the bathroom. The only view from the windows were old brick walls. The highlight was the staff which were very nice storing our luggage until a room was available , helping with directions, and all requests. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great hotel in the heart of old Seattle"
From the valet parking till my check out was a really good expedience. The hotel is located at the heart of old Seattle and of course the building is part of Seattle's history. Modern and comfortable inside. The room also let us have a good rest after the long flight we had. The service of the staff is really good and warm. Check inn, without any problem, […] check out too. My special thanks are for Gerald Lamontagne, General Manager of the Courtyard, because I left my belongings. I sent the email to the Hotel and Gerald kept track of my belongings right away. He offer 3 solutions and my family and I decided to make a quick stop before or return. We arrive at the hotel once more and Aaron, with a big smile, gave me my things without any problem. I definitely would stay again at the Courtyard for fair prices, great location and excellent service. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Contemporary, Convenient, Comfortable"
We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was under construction, but it didn't really bother us too much. Everyone was very friendly - from the front desk to the bistro. The bed was comfortable and we loved the high ceilings.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Remodling but beatiful on the inside."
Service was wonderful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great spot for catching a Mariners game. Very nice hotel. Parking was expensive though and the wait for the elevator ridiculous but other than that it was great.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
1st off, the front desk person was very polite and professional. The beds were not close to being comfortable. Parking... well plan on paying quite a bit extra. The only parking we found available when we arrived was valet. It was funny after waiting almost a half hour to get my car back the next day, the guy still wanted a tip. After I didn't tip […] him, my brother waited even longer to get his car. We had a third person in the room and after waiting over 5 hours we finally received the roll away bed. There are 3 elevators there... 2 out of the 3 don't work. You are just paying for the location. And as for the location... As soon as you walk out the front doors you will have bums approaching you nonstop. I guess for the price I paid, I just planned on better. In my opinion, it was like an over priced motel 6. The only part of the experience that was above expectations, was the guy that checked us in. I will not stay at this motel again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great Staycation location"
My husband and I love to spend a night or two downtown as often as we can to take in a ballgame, go to a show, have a great dinner or just enjoy the city!
