"Good hotel, but no gym!" Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 26, 2013

The staff was great, the location is great for a business person coming from the airport. The train is right across the street, and the main train station and buses and metro are right nextdoor too. BUT it is a cab (or metro or bus) ride from the historic area so be advised. Also, there is no gym/exercise room. And when it's cold in Lyon or snowing, your only choice is to eat :). It's in a very commercial area so there don't seem to be fine real French restaurants around. So the bottom line is, good for a business person with appointments close by. Not quite so good for tourists.

Nice hotel, centrally located, close to Metro stop. Booked a superior room and as is typical throughout many hotels in the EU, it was tiny. Had to go outside to change our minds. Barely enough room to walk around the double bed. Std. room' must be a sardine can. No soundproofing issues, fairly quiet. Front desk staff was exceptional and friendly. Plenty of pizza joints within a block or 2, which came in handy when we arrived late. Would stay here again.

The hotel served our needs. We needed a place to stay for one night because of a flight delay. The place smelled a bit, maybe of smoke, the room was small and the breakfast overpriced.

Le matelas a ressorts n'est pas très confortable. Clim en panne mais avec la fenêtre ouverte c'était supportable.Petit déjeuner très moyen (pas de choix en thé, confitures sans goût). Deux cintres dans la penderie. Pas de tablette dans la salle de bain pour poser ses affaires de toilette.Il serait bien de remplacer la baignoire par une douche plus pratique.A […] part ça son emplacement à côté d'Eurexpo est très pratique.Restaurant correct (sauf le carpaccio - huile d'olive amère), service agréable. C'est certain que je n'y retournerai pas. J'ai réservé cet hôtel pour bénéficier de la navette entre l'aéroport et l'hôtel, mais apparemment c'est une navette à temps partiel. En plus d'avoir avisé de la date de mon arrivée, il n'y en avait la cette journée-là, et le matin mon vol étant trop tôt, j'ai du PAYER un taxi, alors pouvez-vous me dire l'avantage […] de prendre votre hôtel? bonne dans l'ensemble. hormis un accueil un peu froid ( je parle de la personne charger de l'accueil à ce moment là). le parking de l’hôtel est bien pratique et permet de stationner facilement vu le nombre limité de places devant celui-ci. et pour ma part j'ai trouver les matelas un peu trop mou a mon gout .
