We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for a week and were glad to find a hotel right in the heart of Times Square. The service was definitely top notch! The front desk was courteous and the concierge was very helpful, recommending great shows and restaurants. Our room was nice. It could've been a little larger. But the bathroom was a good size and the size of the TV's and the fact that they played HD was a bonus. Also, the bed was quite comfortable. The cleaning staff did a fine job of keeping up the room. I'll definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Finding a "GOOD THING" these days can get harder and harder. For this reason when you come across a 'good thing" it is priceless. One of the most recent "good things " that I have come across is the PARAMOUNT hotel in Times Square. The first thing that I leave the hotel impressed by is the professionalism and commitment that is demonstrated by the staff. Starting with the front desk where I was checked in by Catherine and continuing until the driver which I received at the hotel hands me my luggage at the airport. Catherine followed the details of my visit until the moment I checked out. The only dislike that I had which eventually i got over was the view of the alley where the boiler or some loud machine was placed. I know that from now on I will request a room that faces anywhere but there. If you are going to New York and plan on taking in Broadway there could not be a more perfect location. I love this hotel so much I find myself wanting to travel to NYC more. I cannot wait until my next visit to the PARAMOUNT which I hope will be in the next few weeks.

Very nice hotel, within walking distance to subway for access to Manhattan (take the 7 or E and you can get to grand central, times square, penn station). Just a few blocks to local restaraunts. The room was very clean, excellent staff, free shuttle to subway. Overall an excellent place to stay if your touring new york city. One note, if you are considering a "view room" save your money, the view is obstructed by a number of taller buildings (the hotel is only 7 floors). Overall an excellent experience and I would definitely stay again, especially at the rate because of the new hotel discount. If you plan to take a cab from the hotel call one yourself because the service the hotel uses charges a flat rate to specific areas and you can get a cab on your own for cheaper generally.

"Awful"
My main complaint about this hotel is that they did not protect our privacy. We were staying at the hotel because of a wedding and a significant number of our family were staying there too. We were on west coast time and wanted to sleep in, so we kept our room number a secret. Not only did the hotel staff give my in-laws our room number, they let them […] onto our floor (each floor could only be entered by an individual with a key card on that floor.) "Sheraton Duffield was average"
Seemingly good location- but not close to any high end shopping. Loved some of the walking distance neighborhoods- Cobble Hill was great- nice restaurants and shops. The area around the hotel was a little sketchy... And the hotel staff at the front desk were okay... nothing to brag about. Acted somewhat not interested in your questions. "good hotel"
only issue we had was the pool hours changed on us. my 5 year old really wanted to swim in the morning and they changed it from 7am to 10am, and then we had to wait an additional 30 minutes for the lifeguard to get in there. otherwise, a good hotel close to public transit.
"Nice hotel at convenient Brooklyn downtown locatio"
This was a modern, clean, and very pleasant hotel. The room was somewhat small but absolutely fine for the night I was staying there. I had gotten a fantastic rate on the room and so this was really a great deal. The hotel is only one block away from the Hoyt Street metro, which connects via the 2 and 3 lines directly to Times Square (about 20 minutes). […] I always go into town for Broadway shows so this is a really good location for that. The area was fine during the day time but the streets were pretty deserted at night since all shops were closed. Since the hotel was only one block from the metro that did not bother me too much but I was also not too enticed to walk around too much. "Great Hotel for price and location"
We stayed in early May and found it to be in a transitional neighborhood. Close to the subway and some shopping, lots of neighborhood places to eat. The hotel staff was great, the hotel itself was new and clean. I travel frequently for my job and found this hotel to be more than satisfactory.

"A great hotel in an okay neighborhood"
The good: The hotel is brand new and very clean. All staff that I encountered were friendly and helpful. The bed was soft, the towels were plentiful, and my stay was very quiet. Quick subway ride to Manhattan. The bad: The neighborhood isn't perfect. Definitely different than Manhattan. Seemed eerily deserted at 11:30pm. I wasn't too concerned about […] my safety, seeing as I live in downtown Baltimore, but there isn't much going on. Overall: 4/5. Overall the hotel is very nice, but staying in a Club Room, meant amenities such as the club lounge--which was not stocked with hot water (for tea), had stale dated (sour) milk in their fridge and despite asking for hot water to be available --it did finally appear on the second day after 4 requests--the service of the staff was less than average. If […] one pays a higher rate for a premium room then one would expect some service to go along with this. Swimming pool only accessible from 5-10PM (this was not mentioned on their website). Few taxi drivers knew how to get to the hotel--the address is on a small street which apparently few know of. The general area was not the most comfortable to walk around in. "Room Service"
Unfortunately, I had an unpleasant room service experience during my first night's stay at this hotel. I had to call 4 times to finally receive my meal. I am grateful that the restaurant manager was apologetic and made my meal complimentary. However, I was disappointed in having to deal with this type of issue while at Sheraton.

Extremely professional staff; easy nearby parking. Great espresso bar in lobby; nice bar for an evening drink. The staff are pros who take their jobs seriously--and by the way, my Eggs Benedict were perfect too. I thoroughly recommend this hotel in Brooklyn. . .

"New Brooklyn Sheraton"
This is a brand new property. The fitness center is one of the best I've seen in a hotel! The beds are extremely comfortable. The service was excellent and the property is clean and well maintained. Within walking distance of the Brooklyn Bridge and shopping. The breakfast buffet needs improvement on set-up and quality of food. The only other complaint […] would be that there was one small ice machine in the entire hotel. "Hard to find but worth the search"
We have stayed here several times. Quality of hotel facility and staff is great. Fulton Street isn't great but you don't have to walk too far to get to the better side of Brooklyn. One important caution: we have yet to find a taxi driver who can find the hotel. Be prepared with detailed directions or you'll never get back.
hotel was very nice. the staff was very attentive. only problem was location. cab drivers could not find the hotel even with a map and google.

Newly renovated hotel with distant view of the Statue of Liberty from upper floors looking west. "Great new hotel with a few kinks to iron out"
The Brooklyn Sheraton is a brand new hotel, in an up and coming neighborhood that is under more construction at one time than it can pleasantly handle. Two complaints with the hotel, itself. First, the Lobby was freezing. It needs better insulation from the cold outside. How's about a revolving door, rather than the automatic one which let's in the […] winter weather each time it opens? Second, the elevator security system which requires a room key/card in order to get you to the right floor did not always work properly. Otherwise, a very comfortable room, a great indoor swimming pool with heated whirlpool, and a deluxe continental breakfast worth much more than the extra charge on the room rate. Read more
"Nice hotel, but problems"
Staff was great. Room was great in general, nice. Problems: 1. First night room was not cleaned. 2. Fourth night, toilet was not cleaned. 3. Big feather pillows were not good for me. I asked for foam pillows, but the next day, the cleaning staff replaced them for feather pillows. So then I had six feather pillows in my room.
Great hotel. But please hand out those maps you keep under the front counter! The hotel is great, but really difficult to drive to! It is surrounded by one-way streets that all lead away from the hotel! Staff should know that you can't make a right turn at the end of the block! Frustrating. But great location.
"Downtown Brooklyn"
This is a convenient hotel if you need to be in Brooklyn. We were attending a wedding in Prospect Park, so it was well located. The rooms are very small, but clean and adequate. Price was high for the room size, but this is NYC. There should be free wifi in a hotel like this.

"Worth the metro ride"
If you are wary of bedbugs and dirty hotel rooms in the city, then this is a very good choice. This hotel is in Brooklyn, but close to two different metro stops. Even in the middle of winter we found the metro ride completely reasonable - it will take about 20 minutes to get into the city. It is well worth it to have a clean, commfortable room at the […] end of the day. You would pay one and a half to twice the amount for a comparable room in Manhattan. The hotel is brand new, newly renovated, and quite comfortable. The hotel gym is very clean and well equipped. The one thing that really bothered us was the breakfast: the breakfast is NOT included, and the price they charge ($13) is RIDICULOUS. NICE STAFF - ESPECIALLY ROB AT FRONT DESK, HE GOT ME A PLAN TICKET SO I COULD LEAVE AFTER THE SNOW STORM DURING DEC 2010. I TRIED ALL DAY AND WAS NOT SUCCESSFUL. HE HAD TICKET IN A MATTER OF MINUTES. GREAT BAR TOO!

When I travel to New York I usually stay in Manhattan we decided to try Brooklyn. We were pleasantly suprised. Convient to subway. Shopping and restaurants are around We went to Juniors down the block and had a great meal. Visited the Brooklyn Museum was great. Enjoyed some great bars at night. "SheratonBrooklyn-close to the action at a discount"
This place was awesome! Great staff - super friendly and extremely helpful! Really close to Manhattan, at a reduced cost. Access to the subways (that can literally get you to anywhere you want to go) were on the same block. The hotel was clean and felt upscale and very comfortable. There's a few 24-hr deli's walking distance for those late night cravings […] and a 24 hr DuaneRead - which came in super handy since we had our 15 month old son with us and all the unpredictable needs that come with him. I highly recommend this place to anybody that wants to travel and experience NY but is on too tight on a budget to stay in Manhattan. I loved it and would definitely stay there again. Read more

"Location is a mystery to taxi drivers"
This is a nice, clean and comfortable hotel but make sure you know the cross streets as we have yet to find a single taxi driver that can find it. When we were hopelessly lost in the taxi at 1am, we called the hotel twice for more specific directions but both times the phone was not answered. We were surprised when we finally arrived to see about 5 […] people behind the desk,...not sure why they don't answer the phone! Read more

"Excellent value and good location"
We stayed at the Sheraton Brooklyn for 4 nights in November and were very pleased by our experience. The location was excellent for us, since our project was nearby in Dumbo, but even for someone spending most of their time in Manhattan, the easy subway access made travel times similar to getting across Manhattan itself. Nice and clean rooms, and a good service.. however though, it is the neighborhood that did not help for a better rating.. the area is under construction and it's dark everywhere.. I had problems finding a place to eat Maybe wait for the constructions to be done and book it!

"Enjoyable time"
The greeting staff at this Sheraton staff was very pleasant. I felt quite welcomed and the check-in process was quick and efficient. I would recommend this hotel and will probably use it on my future visits to the NYC.
