Value was good.. I'm not picky and don't require fancy surroundings with a pool and overpriced room, restaurtant, etc. Even thouigh I gave this place high marks, irt's based on price vs value. What did bum me out was CROWING ROOSTERS.. starting at 5 am.. incessantly, ALL DAY LONG. If I could have figured a way to take out the two roosters without getting caught, I would have. I was very glad to be leaving when I did.

We enjoyed our stay at Birgo in La Digue. Denise the manager was kind to arrange certain things for us. We just wish we were told ahead of time that there would be a fee for the bikes as we thought it was complementary. The breakfast on the verranda was lovely; gardens beautifully kept, nice pool although small; lovely lounge area and happy to get wireless internet although difficult at times. The restaurant at Chateau St. Cloud was excellent for our halfboard; superb! Thanks again for helping to make our time at spectacular La Digue so memorable!

We very much enjoyed staying at this hotel in Praslin. We thought the food was fantastic and extremely well presented: very artistic. It was presented with a smile and one of the owners (wife) always made a point to ask how we were doing and were very friendly. Crystal was an excellent server; so classy and lovely. We didn't mind that it was by a small airport as very few planes would fly by during the day and none at night. The only thing I would change is to have a server at the pool bar near the end of the day as we would have likely ordered a beer! We liked how the hotel was situated near one of the most breath-taking beaches; a 2 mins walk from hotel.

Hotel très bien situé sur la côté d'or. Plage magnifique, malheureusement il y'a beaucoup de bateaux dans la zone de bain qui gâchent le paysage et qui sont dangereux pour les baigneurs. Sinon les chambres supérieurs sont top. Nous avons réservé une chambre standard avec vue mer sur hotel.com mais cela n'existe pas dans cet hôtel. Donc après avoir monté […] le ton nous avons eu la chambre supérieur avec vue mer mais Attention à ceux qui prennent les chambres standards, elles sont placées dans un bâtiment en dehors de l'hôtel avec vue sur un parking face a la route. Ces chambres ne valent absolument pas 4 étoiles. Sinon le personnel est sympathique même s'il y a beaucoup d'attente au Resto et un petit déjeuner très pauvre. Read more

Ett mycket trevligt mindre hotell med utmärkt läge på stranden med solstolar, gratis wi-fi i lobby och restaurang. Även tillgågf till wi-fi på rummet mot betalning. Det som kunde höja hotellet ytterligare var om man satte in ett par flaskor vatten på rummet varje dag.

Ein kleines Hotel mit optimaler Lage, direkt am Strand und in einem kleinen Dorf, also auch mit etwas Kontakt zum einheimischen Alltagsleben. Das Zimmer war sehr schön, sauber und groß genug. Die Terrasse bot einen tollen Blick über den Strand auf den Indischen Ozean. Der Service im Hotel hat uns zufriedengestellt, auch wenn man manchmal etwas warten […] musste. Bei unserem nächsten Besuch auf den Seychellen werden wir wieder hier buchen. Read more
