Very nice Hotel. Clean rooms with lots of space. Microwave and frig. Flat screen TV's. I was very comfortable in there. Location was great for getting around Salem.

When walking in the room it smelled very musty. No alarm/radio clock. No hot water at all. Just only got luke warm. Couldn't take a shower. When saying something to the manager when we checked out we just got that basic story " well everyone was probably trying to take a shower at the same time. Don't stay here! Unfriendly check-in. (No smiles-acted impatient to register me as a guest.) Table and several counter tops hadn't been cleaned. Old shower curtain had pink mold on the bottom. Took almost 3 minutes to get hot water out of tap. Old, white-grey towels. No shampoo or lotion available. Bottom sheet and shabby mattress pad did not fit and […] kept sliding off the mattress. "Like the smell of moth balls? Then you'll love it!"
You can't polish a turd. This is an old motel, the owners have added new paint and make an effort to keep it clean. But....it has a terrible smell (a little like moth balls) clean but old sheets, just one bedspread over the sheets, pillows that probably cost $2.99 at the local WalMart, beds that feel like a sheet of plywood to sleep on, very small, […] paper thin walls that you hear the voices of the people in the next room.
