The hotel is right next to the train station (~Fredricksburg) and is well maintained. the neighborhood is safe and the hotel seems to always have taxis available. It is about 20 minutes of brisk walking to get to downtown. There are much closer hotels to downtown but for value is good for business travelers.

Pricey hotel in trendy inner burb of greater Stockholm. Excellent room housekeeping. Room was roomy by local standards. Lack of minfridge was vexing but compensated by storing pershables and meds in main fridge. This caused guest inconvenience in being required to retrieve and restow daily. If one pays for a deluxe room you do receive minifridge access. […] Gym and sauna were available. Equipment in gym was adequate but sparse. The seat on the stationary bike was partially broken. There were few free weights. I did not use the bastu aka sauna. The breakfast buffet was adequate but did not include whole fresh fruit such as apples or banannas and also did not include salmon as choices. Comp. international newspaper were available on most all days. Easy access to inner city via street car/bus/subway. Had to pay premium rate for airport taxi because of 4 AM departunre did allow ready access to airport bus on holiday. Reception booked airport taxi for incorrect date but this was easlly corrected. Good telephone messaging. Automated wake up via TV set. Very limited channel availability on TV to two English news channels, about 8 channels total. Good view of mini ski slope, neighborhood holiday lights and the Globe arena from upper levels. Internet worked well ninety percent of the time. Needed wired connection rarely when router malfunctioned. Bottom line: better deals elsewhere, but adequate. Read more

My husband and I went to Stockholm for our honeymoon and stayed at this hotel. The airline we flew with had lost our luggage and when it was returned, all of our clothes were soaking wet and ruined, which made our trip very challenging. However, the staff was so friendly and they did everything they could to help us with our luggage situation. They […] called the airline to locate our luggage and spent an entire night washing our clothes trying to salvage them. Whenever we needed directions, they gave us the best and most cost efficient way to go where we needed to go. If it hadn't been for the staff at Park Inn, our trip would not have been nearly as enjoyable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Stockholm. It isn't too expensive, the customer service is amazing, and the views from the room windows are great. It is also located a block away from a tram that goes to the Old Town, which is very convenient. Read more

Staying at this hotel was a highlight of our trip. We arrived around 7 am from a ferry ride. Both kids and adults were tired. We hoped to get our luggage stored and were sure we would have to stroll around the city at least until the official check in time. To our great surprise, the front desk staff checked us into the rooms that by their standards […] were not "quite ready" (we found the rooms perfectly clean - only the foldable bed was missing the linnen). We got a chance to nap for couple hours before diving into the city. This was great! The hotel is very modern and clean, The neighborhood is very nice. The breakfast buffett is excellent (chese, sausages, ham, salami, herring, yougurt, cereal, eggs, coffee, juice, excellent selection of breads, pastries, fruit, I am sure I missed something). The staff is super friendly and accomodating. It takes 15-30 min to get to the Old Town and it is really easy to find your way around. I would definitely come back again. Read more

We enjoyed the comfort it offered. We had a spectacular view of the area. Breakfast was excellent. Stay competent and friendly. The only draw back was that we had to take to trams to get to the center of town. But it was a learning experience and once we got the hang of it we didn't mind it much.

great hotel, nice area, and best of all, a phenomenal breakfast buffet. only downside is that the hotel is in Hammarby, which is a 10 minute metro ride into the center of Stockholm.

This is a very fine hotel. The almost universal positive reviews we read prior to going on our trip were right on the money. Some additional notes: * When considering this hotel, we were initially hesitant to book it due to its location. We were afraid that it was too far away from the city center. If you're worried about this don't be. It's REALLY […] easy to get to the city center from the hotel in just minutes using public transit. * The breakfast buffet is excellent. I would recommend it. There are also a variety of stores and other restaurants in the immediate area of the hotel as well. * The staff is friendly, professional and will be glad to help you if you have any questions and the rooms are very clean and nicely appointed (although my fellow Americans may find them to be somewhat small compared to what we are used to). My only comment would be that coming from the US, it seemed somewhat strange to us that the shower floor is not separate from the bathroom floor, although the drainage does allow for water to drain within the shower area itself. However, we laid down some extra towels in the shower area to prevent slipping. It was a little disconcerting but really no big deal. (Also, unlike other European hotels we have stayed at, the shower controls-i.e. hot and cold water controls-are not confusing to use.) Overall, this is a really nice hotel and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a quality, affordable (for Scandinavia that is) hotel in Stockholm. Read more

The hotel is new and was very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and efficient. It is located in a pleasant and quiet neighborhood a little south of Sodermalm. You would probably need to take public transit or taxi to city centre or Sodermalm for a better selection of restaurants, etc.

Located outside city centre in a new residential area, and close to motorway, but this did not impair our experience. Stockholm Public transport system rapid transport rail and bus services are to be found close by, but not immediately adjacent to the hotel. The building is a modern tower block of high urban design quality containing good facilities […] and efficient services warm controllable air conditioning in winter, warm shower and bathroom, wide corridors and speedy lifts to all floors. Receptionist's warm welcome and efficient service at all times day and night gave right initial impression. Room quality minimalist, clean and quiet, with typically swedish attention to details and colour scheme. The facilities included tea and coffee making facilities, to give more comfort on cold autumn/winter evening returns to the hotel. Views over Hammarby from seventh floor are interesting, and relaxing at all hours. Breakfast in the RBG restaurant was good quality and filling, but one two mornings certain offerings were in short supply. Pickled Herring and Bacon shortages were noted. At the weekend, the Restaurant was crowded but this added to the atmosphere. Checking out was very efficient and we concluded that our stay had been a very pleasant relaxing experience. We propose to return again in Spring 2011, and anticipate more of the same levels of service. Read more

This is a new hotel, so it is nice and clean. Everything works, staff is nice, etc. Breakfast is decent as well. The only downside of this hotel is its location, which is in Hammarby Sjöstad. The area is "newer", which means that it is safe, etc however, there are not a ton of restaurant / bar choices. The lightrail is in spitting distance, so you can […] get into other areas of Stockholm via public transport but if you're a "walker" like me, there arent a ton of eating choices just yet. Very nice hotel. Because it is in a new part of town, it is harder to get to. It's in an expensive residential neighborhood. I liked that they had a large breakfast buffet included. The dinner buffet, not included was not worth the price. They allowed us to eat it even though it was at the end, but there were some young men that were taking the food […] as fast as the cook could bring it out and we had to have the waitress bring it directly to our table. Previously stayed in Park Inn in the UK. The location of this one in Sweden is excellent. Easy access to city centre(20 minutes away). Would recommend buying a travel pass that allows you to travel on all forms of public transport. A three day pass cost about SEK 270. Worth it!!! The staff were very friendly and helpful. One in particular went beyond […] the extra mile to make sure that my stay was very comfortable. She was very helpful in also providing me with valuable information about the city. We arrived on New Year's Eve and had a very nice, if expensive, celebration meal. I had sent the hotel an email with my requirements and not only did the staff respond but also fulfilled my request. However, when we arrived my wife said that she would rather have a bath than a beautiful view and once again the staff responded immediately. While there are hotels in Stockholm which are probably better located, I think you'd struggle to find somewhere that offers the same price/quality/location deal overall. The location itself is far from inconvenient - can be reached from T-Central using a short T-bana ride and a conncting tram - and the surrounding part of town is pleasant with a great […] supermarket just round the corner. Staff are exceptionally helpful and welcoming and the breakfast buffet is superb with plenty of variety and regular top-ups. Rooms are clean and well equipped. Standard TV is a little lacking however. Restaurant and bar offer great quality and very handy if you need an evening in. Room service is available and the reception desk has everything down to toothbrushes available should you need something. Rooms need to be vacuum cleaned every day. The staff need to be more aware of what they need to do when supplying towels, soap and keeping the room free of dust. Have the smokers smoke far away from the entrance. It is a shame they spoilt it for others.

A lovely quiet mid-range hotel. Just outside the hustle and bustle, but just a short journey on the tube and tram away. Very comfortable rooms and the blackout blinds were very useful. Standard Scandanavian breakfast, very nice and filling.

Very nice hotel, right next to the tram station which can get you into city centre within 20mins. Very easy to get around. lots of shops to get snacks, drinks, travelcard (7Eleven). Staff are super nice and helpful, give us a businesscard to email them our boarding pass which they printed out and had ready when we checked out. Free fast wifi :)
