      Service at the front desk went above and beyond our expectations. They helped us get numbers for rental car places and provided us with everything we needed. Room looked new and modern, but did not have a microwave or fridge, but did have a coffee maker. Our TV's remote control was broken (the battery cover would not stay on), there was a used band-aid on the floor between the two beds, and a hair in one of the new bath towels. Also, I tried to make local calls from the room phone, but even though I followed the instructions on the phone, it kept giving me a busy signal. View from the room was scary (steep hill with roots). Overall, we were pleased by the service provided by the front desk, but all of the other things were a disappointment. Next time, we probably will go with a hotel that had a microwave/fridge and offered drinks and snacks in the lobby, even if it costs a little more. Cleanliness of a room is very important, and we were definitely grossed out by the used band-aid.

      I needed an inexpensive room for a short say in Pittsburg. The room was small with one double bed, which was perfect for me. Bed was comfy, slept well. Only issues were one of the outlets didn't work so I had to plug a camera battery in the bathroom (no biggie) and the hair dryer did not work. When I told the front desk, they apologized and handed me a working one. The front desk peeps were very friendly and helpful with directions. I would recommend this place, at least for a solo traveler. It is convenient to downtown, Carnegie Mellon, University of Pittsburg, the cultural area and I'm sure to many places I don't even know about. Oh, FREE continental breakfast, too...with LOTS to choose from.

      The room was very spacious. The breakfast was wonderful. The hotel was clean. Price was very reasonable for the accommodations. It is awkward to get to this hotel as it looks like you're driving behind store fronts. Don't stay here if you're looking for a beautiful view. You see the back of Kohls. But if you're more interested in the room, food, and comfort. You can't go wrong here.

    I was disappointed that this hotel did not offer a shuttle service to the casino which is about 1.5 miles from the hotel. We were staying at the hotel... because we were attending a concert at the casino, so in return had to get a cab to drive all of us to the casino.     The room was dirty ex:toenail clippings on the floor and dirt in the corners and behind the nightstands. Housekeeping never responded. Front desk charged my credit card for the stay even though I paid in advance with Hotels.com. I was booked from Mon-Fri and they checked me out Thur. morning

    the hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. the mattress though was very firm so if that is the type of bed u like u would love this hotel. the channel selection for movies was very limited. The pool is very small however it is the first hotel i have seen that is set up for handicapped individuals

    I had a room with a king sized bed. This room was large and roomy with a sleep sofa and lounge chair. The fridge and microwave oven were nice to have. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was updated and clean. Easy check in and check out. The price was reasonable. I will definitely stay there again.

    The room was very clean beds nice and comfortable, breakfast very nice , the only complaint I have is when the Employees check the rooms they need to check all the lights. In the room I was in 2 light bulbs were burnt out also there was a long strip of plastic molding leaning in the corner of the bathroom.

    Our stay was in Washington, Pa. Everyone but my daughter and 3 young children ages 2 and under had left to go to the WVU football game. She volunteered to keep the little children in the hotel so they could all nap. She had no more than gotten them to sleep when the phone rang. The guy at the hotel desk, Vinnie, told her we were supposed to check out […] that day. She informed him that we had booked for 2 nights and the printed itenerary was down in the car and when the children woke up she would bring them down and get it for him to see. He told her to GET IT NOW OR GET OUT NOW!!! She woke the children up, haued them down to the car, got the itenerary, and proved to Vinnie that we were indeed booked for 2 nights. He then gave her new keys for the room, since he had turned off her keys to the room as soon as she was out of the room. Keep in mind she had 3 babies with her. I have no words that can describe Vinnie. We were well pleased with the hotel other than that. The whole idea was to let the little children nap so they would not be cranky that evening and we could spend time at the outlets. Poor little things didn't get a nap at all that day. We had 3 very fussy children that evening thanks to Vinnie. I will never book at that hotel again because of his treatment to my family. Read more

    The doors from the bedroom to the bath and living rooms were dysfunctional. An easy mechanical fix was requested but not followed through on. Aside from that issue I would have rated this hotel a "5".

    We'd never stayed at one of the Country Inn and Suites, and totally thought it was overpriced. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but would have had the same at a Hampton Inn for less cost. I probably would not book a room again.

    We had asked for a room for a disabled person. The bathroom was not conducive to his condition. The fact that it was on the fourth floor would have been a real problem if we would have had to evacuate the hotel and not be able to use the elevator. The hotel staff was just great. Other than the disability situation, everything was fine.

    There were several hairs in the bath tub and one in the bed sheets. Overall I think the hotel was nicely decorated. The breakfast was decent, as was the pool. More than I expected for the price. But the bathroom was disappointing. And having a hair in the sheets?? I don't know what happened. But I got the feeling someone forgot to clean our room.
