A must see if you go to Singapore but I am not sure if I would go back. Too noisy, too many people, impersonal.Genuine Expedia guest review
Hotel does not meet the 5 stars. I write my report later when I'll go away.Genuine Expedia guest review
If you are staying in Singapore for a few days...this is the place to be. A resort on its own, with nearby entertainment for a solid 3 night stay. It cames at a steep price but the place is truly expectacular.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice, but way too big"
I stayed here one night in July 2011, simply because I wanted to check out the rooftop swimming pool. The rooms are pretty pricey. I got tremendous value, though, because I had arrived so late (1:30 am!) that they had given away my room and upgraded me to a Paiza suite - a 1500 square foot extravaganza on the 52d floor with two balconies, a separate […] workout room with an elliptical machine and yoga mats, 4 large flat screen tvs, two sitting areas, a dining area with a wet bar, a dressing room and 1.5 baths! Needless to say, it was gorgeous, and way too much space for just one person. I don't know what a regular room looks like, but I noticed that the bathrobes people were wearing to the pool were of lower quality than the ones in my suite. The rooftop amenities were gorgeous, the swimming pool is stunning, and the fitness center was the best I'd ever seen in a hotel. The food in the lobby lounge, which is ordered a la carte, was overpriced and just ok. A small Perrier and cold, smoked salmon pizza should not be S$48. The hotel is spectacular, the attached shopping mall is incredible, but the place is huge and packs in a ton of guests, making for traffic jams at the registration desk, at hotel restaurants, and elevators. If you like large, glitzy, Las Vegas style over-the-top hotels, this one is perfect. If you want something cozier and warmer, I recommend the Fullerton Bay across the Marina. "To be experienced - at least once."
The hotel and architecture is simply amazing. A place one must stay at least once. The hotel seems VERY busy. Any service request takes a while to process, and the staff seems stressed out. Don't expect ambiance in the lobby, it's a more like a railway station. There are probably as many tourists to look at the hotel as there are actual guests. The […] gym and roof top area are both extremely nice. The infinity pool is something to be experienced. The hotel is quite pricy. We were lucky to get a nice upgrade, due to the first room reeking with smoke odor (not the hotel's fault, as this was a non-smoking room). But it worked out well for us, as we got a room twice the size on a much higher floor. We were able to invite guests to go with us to the pool, and overall we had a nice stay. "The best option in Singapore"
At the beginning I was not that sure about staying at this hotel because it's a bit expensive, but as soon as I got in the lobby I was more than excited! The hotel is really amazing! One of the best hotels I have stayed in my life! They gave us a free room upgrade, which was really good. The view from our room was the best! Everynight they have some […] laser shows at the Marina Bay and it was so nice to have the opportunity to see it from our room! The bathroom is very big, the bed very comfortable! And of course the best thing that the hotel has is the swimming pool, I couldn't stop myself taking photos the whole time of that amazing huge swimming pool! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good Hotel Overall"
The check-in experience was very bad. We reached at 10am and were informed that checkin time was at 3pm. We returned at 3pm and then were told that 1 room is ready. We had booked 2 rooms. We got the other room at 5pm and it was not even close to the previous room. Both the rooms had a bad view. I also requested for a double bed for the other room which […] was completely ignored. "Too big and impersonal"
We stayed here mainly to check out the rooftop pool. As a hotel, MBS has much to improve upon: they took 1 hour to deliver our luggage to our room after check-in, the lobby area is unwelcoming (no seats) and (my pet peeve) - no free wi-fi, even in common areas. Definitely felt like a number here, rather than a guest.Genuine Expedia guest review
After a 25 hours flight from Sao Paulo to Singapore, arrive at the Sands its like arrive in the Paradise. Stayed for three nights at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore June, 2011. Impressive architecture, new, huge, roof-pool view exceptional, but 'un-personal' and clinical in interior and atmosphere. Wide range of eating places, from Food Court in Mall to extravagant dining, but low on intimacy: a straight forward international hotel. The attached Shoppes (Mall) […] has most/everything, so you do not need to go catacomb shopping downtown if you are in a hurry. Negative was TV that didn't work and such small things as key cards that needed changing and key-slots [in elevator] being unpractical - oh, and a hot water pot with cups, but not even a tea bag to add (that is a first in SEA for me). If you need a casino close by, have a company paying and will spend your time off splashing it's maybe worth the cost, but if you are in Singapore for shopping, eating and/or especially sightseeing I believe you are better off at another hotel, one with maybe even some atmosphere. For those who do stay at MBS beware you need only walk to the Esplanade (Theatres) and from there you can catacomb walk a long distance thru to various underground Malls (e.g. Raffles, SunTec or City Hall). "Just because of the swimming pool"
My friends and I stayed here because of the swimming pool. It's definitely worth it! So must check it out if you stay here. The room and services, etc... are good but nothing is too impressive, just typical 5 star hotel. There is a food court in the hotel shopping area. It has pretty good food and the price is reasonable. The casino is bad. It is not […] friendly, the min bet is very high and the hassle of carrying your passport to get in AND to get out is ridiculous. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Spectacular from the outside - nothing special from inside"
While staying at this hotel you get a spectacular architecture, fabulous view of Singapore from the rooftop and brand new rooms - and that's it. The pool on the top is great - but extremely loud and a children's playground and the whole atmosphere is sort of sterile and cold. Was an interesting visit for once, but only once...Genuine Expedia guest review

"Singapore's Best Hotel"
You will not be disappointed with the Marina Bay Sands Hotel. It is beautiful. Impeccably clean. Has a view that is the best in Singapore. The rooftop pool & jacuzzis are over the top. When you swim over to the infinity edge on the pool & look at the city from that height it is magical. The hotel is connected to a shopping mall & casino, so you can […] walk everywhere in climate controlled comfort. From the champagne greeting at check-in until check-out it's service is fabulous. My room was large with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the city skyline. The furnishings very contemporary & beautiful. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in. we had to change arrangments due to the earthquake in japan and decided to stay at the marina bay sands for 1 nite, we decided to just stay at the hotel for that one day, didnt run out of things to do. shopping, museum, pool, workout, casino.food court. note, weekend has only buffetts in all rest, but food court has many choices, nothing to buy due to cost […] of high end merchandise but still wonderful, aircon everywhere if you have never been to singapore, it is HOT! 3 towers, lots of walking, careful of the infinity ponds everywhere, I sat on it thinking it was a bench and got my seat all wet. check in and out was a breeze, loved the wifi room. pool was great, go in the morning due to t storms, (lightning) they close the pool, lots of security everywhere (safe) food court, lots of rice, noodles, soup, had a hard time finding salads and fruits ,1 hamburger place with salads and the fruits were at a sundry shop near the food court. food is spicy so our best meal was breakfast, we ate alot in the morning(buffett) worth it for us, they had fruits, fresh juices, breads etc. room was wonderful, great amenities, dont loose you room card need that to get to the room. I had read lots of reviews on this hotel, many saying that it was a bit disorganized. We did experience a bit of this, but the grandness of the hotel well outweighed any negative experiences. "must be try but just one night.!"
All singapore is very expensive , actually not value for money. This hotel must see like a landmark. our room at tower 3 , 47th floor bay, river and city view . i suggest city view because other side just see sea its not good like city view. Luggage are arrive in minutes to our room and they checked with telephone that was great and we want to prepare […] sofa bed for sleep they are verry fast also. and we go to skypark pool , pool is amazing but not clean, we try jaccuzi other side of pool and sleep at sunbeds that was amazing. we eat some snacks at poolside thats are good and affordable prices . shopping area have a lot of shops but overpriced , just food court is interesting. they have small kiosks for whole of the world kitchen Marina bay sands have a very huge casino , they have dress code and dont forget your passports, main floor is smoking possible other floors smoke free. and you cant find alcholic beverages they serve just tea coffee and milo(like a nesquik) . you can drop your child Qube , qube is baby sitting service you can access near of casino main enterance half an hour is 30 SGD and you must be check your child at every hour, my child like very much cause they have many toys and ps3, pc games , xbox etc. and Casino have a free wireless internet connection. I have already viewed several feedbacks before I booked this hotel, and yes, the check-in and check-out is same as described "long waiting", however, the visit to the top floor is spectecular experience, you do not need to go anyway else to view the entire scene of Singapore city! The only disappointness is we forgot to bring our swimsuit, and there […] is nowhere to buy one or rent one other than the adidas shop in the shopping mall. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Just because it is the "new kid on the block" and there is alot of hype about it in Singapore, they think they can get away with shoddy service. "Most impressive architectural undertaking"
This hotel bares the signature of the Las Vegas Sands: grandure, luxury, and impressive architecture. Pros: Certainly an architectural undertaking. This hotel and the surrounding expo/casino/shopping center is a must-see regardless of whether you stay at MBS or not. Staying at the hotel will grant you access to guest-only areas at the Sky Park, so […] that alone is worth the stay. The pool at the Sky Park is simply breathtaking; there's nothing like it. If there's one thing you must do at MBS, it would be to take a swim there. Unrivaled view of Singapore skyline from the Sky Park cantilever (observation deck); no photo will do it justice. The rooms are spacious and accommodating. The concierge is first class. Expo/casino/shopping center within walking proximity. The double-helix bridge as well as the Singapore Flyer are also within walking distance. I stayed at 54th floor on Tower 3, facing the Marina Bay. It was worth every single penny that I'd spent. Cons: Given that Marina Bay Sands is the latest tourist attraction as yet, there was quite a crowd of people constantly. Given the number of guests they accommodate, the checking and checkout process may not be as facile as many other guests foretold. Like others, I also experienced unsatisfactor water pressure. The luggage service seemed overwhelmed. For those looking for privacy, this hotel may not be the best choice. It was also regrettable that there wasn't a near-by MRT station. Lastly, I wish they had better restaurants ... but supposedly MBS will have a pantheon of world-reknowned chefs in the near future, so this may no longer be the case. "A "bucket list" hotel"
What else can I say? This hotel is world famous for its rooftop pool and that designation is well deserved as it is quite an experience swimming on top of the city skyline. "57th floor infinity pool!"
Only guests of the Marina Bay Sands hotel have access to the infinity pool which overlooks the Bay. Although you can view the Bay and city from the skypark (fee), to be able to swim in the pool and sit on the deck is something special. The pool is very large and a third of it is sectioned off for adults (although people would try to bring their kids […] over to this side, the life guards were sure to advise them of the policy). Towels are provided by the pool with plenty of pool chairs. Your pass is good for the day only, I would suggest going in the mid morning as it is very busy in the afternoon and evening. Enjoy a pitcher of sangria by the pool, only $56-58 SD. Our room was located on the non-bay side (view of the Gardens by the Bay). This side was very nice as the Bay side usually gets all the attention :) All rooms on the Bay side have windows only while the room on the other side have balconies with flowers on each one! It was gorgeous! For such a large hotel, it didn't feel too overwhelming. It is definitely worth a stay considering what it took to build such a structure. Who thinks of building three towers (all at the same time), then putting a huge pool on top of it? Hotel guests can use the business centre (lobby of tower 3) to print a page or two free of charge. Computers are also available for use. In-room internet was very good. A very good stay! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
