Al I needed was a safe and clean place to sleep one night while on the road. The wifi was an added bonus. This seemed to be a old school family run motel. Nothing fancy, but quite clean. Good water pressure in the shower.. Important to me. The gentleman at the desk called me to make sure the room was okay and they put out coffee, cereal, and juice in […] the morning.. I do not expect 5 star luxury when staying in an inexpensive hotel. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find a new bathroom in our room. The owner was polite and positive and was concerned about brewing a batch of coffee before I hit the road the next morning. The room was very clean and only had a slight hint of age or must...but I have bad allergies […] to dust and mold and was not effected by the air in the room in any way. We had a quite a comfortable overnight stay. The room was adequately clean and had decent bed and clean bathroom. Clean, spacious, even had a cooking area. Heat was turned on and room nice and toasty for my arrival. Big snow storm, but parking lot cleared well before checkout, so no difficulty exiting. Free morning coffee. Friendly service.

Best $45 hotel Ive ever been in... we used this hotel just as a stop over, and we were very happy for $45. Clean, quiet, no bugs in the bed, and the hotel clerk moved the "continental breakfast" at 8am to 6am just for us the next morning when we left. We will definitely go back if we are ever going to use the surrounding areas again.

Maybe it's occasional. After I locked the room, I couldn't open it again. No matter tried inside or outside. After minutes' try, I opened it. When I told this to the front desk, the guy didn't believe it. Though later I was arranged to another room, there's no any apology.

This motel was pleasantly clean - and the best price by far for the ski area, other hotels are at least 2 to 3 times as much. There was not much around, so you need to travel about 15 minutes to get to a nice restaurant - but the price makes up for it. I will definately stay here again.

I was a bit surprised and concerned to see the interstate in our backyard, but it was very quiet and comfortable. Breakfast offerings were hurting but town was a 2 minute ride north with 2 great little markets. Very close to Tanglewood, Kripalu, Norman Rockwell and Stockbridge at the most reasonable pricing!

The room was comfortable and clean, but I did not have access to the heat. I had to call in to the office to ask that the heat be turned on. It would come on and blast the room with so much heat that it got to be too hot and then was turned off again until I asked for it to be turned on once more. Very tacky and unprofessional.

This motel is located in a beautiful surrounding with what appears to be a hiking trail across the highway. The owner is very nice and called us after check-in to make sure everything was okay. The bathroom looks remodeled and there is a microwave, fridge and stove inside the room. Clean place and best prices in the Berkshires.

The greeting was welcoming. This was a decent deal for the price. However, there were huge dust bunnies under the bed and the shower curtain was covered in mold. Half way through my stay the light in the bathroom stopped working. The surrounding area is gorgeous and the innkeeper was very nice.

We were looking for a motel that would allow us to bring our dog with us. The website stated that this motel allowed dogs so we made the reservation along with the comment, "We will be bringing our well behaved dog along with us". I also sent a fax with the same information because one of the comments I read from another guest stated that the motel […] would not allow his dog and he found it out at check in. We arrrived at 11 PM at night in a rain and lightning storm and were told that there is a "NO PETS" policy. I showed a copy of the message I sent when I booked the room. Ultimately the owner of the motel allowed us to stay as long as we paid an extra fee. We had no problem with paying an extra fee but were upset since we had performed all of our due diligence in advance to attempt to avoid a bad situation, The motel was fine and I would stay again if our canine is allowed. I was attending a play @ Shakespeare & Co. in Lenox, and wanted an inexpensive room within reasonable driving distance. Pleasant Valley was all that, and the breakfast (cereal and bananas) was a nice bonus.
