"Great Value"
This place was about half the cost of other hotels in the area and when we arrived we were upgraded at no cost. No frills but for the cost a great value. Except for not being able to connect to their wifi all other areas were were great.

This is a quaint resort near Qualicum Beach on Vancouver Island. The room we stayed in was small but comfortable with a cabin-like feel. The beds were very comfortable. It had a good size TV and free internet. There was only a microwave for meals. A small fridge would have been helpful. The bath was cute with color towels rather than the standard white […] of most hotels. The floor was wood laminate and an area rug would have been nice. We had some difficulty heating the room to a cozy temperature, it wouldnt' go up any higher, but it was winter. In the summer it wouldn't be a problem. Read more
"Riverside resort Motel"
a nice basic motel with very friendly staff, the room was not modern but very clean. We stayed two nights to visit the area and i would recommend this quiet motel .People used to high class hotel pass your way !
"Quallicum Beach with children"
We only stayed one night but it was great. The kids age 2 & 4 had a great time in the pool and playground. The bed were not that great but to be expected. It worked for us in the cabins with the open space in the middle for the kids to run around in Enjoyed our stay!

Our stay here was fine. We enjoyed the pool and liked the proximity to the ocean beach. We also appreciated the low cost compared to other motels in the area. The dog was happy too,.

The locations of this hotel was great. The hotel itself was a little rustic, and had a somewhat interesting group of people staying there. Clean rooms with laminate flooring. Good hotel if you aren't expecting a 3-4 star hotel.
