Joe and Judy are awesome! You'll enjoy great, big breakfasts, comfortable rooms and all the hospitality you can ask for. The mountains are beautiful and it's only a short 20 minute drive from Asheville (Biltmore and downtown). I highly recommend staying here.

Rock Laurel is not your typical snooty B&B. The experience is more like being at grandma's house. The rooms are very quiet and private. The beds are incredibly soft and comfortable. The food is outstanding and plenty of it. We had a great visit.

My boyfriend and I had such an incredible stay at Rock Laurel B&B. We were pleasantly surprised at the location - it is only 20 minutes from downtown Asheville, and extremely close to the Blue Ridge Parkway as well! Judy and Joe were incredible people. They were very polite and welcoming. The Bed and Breakfast was absolutely beautiful! We stayed in the Biltmore Room, which was equipped with a luxurious 4 post king bed, hot tub, stand alone shower and his/hers sinks. We plan on making another trip to the land of waterfalls and will definitely visit again!

Went to the area to visit Downtown Asheville and the Biltmore Estate. Have to say that from the moment we were greeted in the driveway as we pulled in, to the moment we pulled away, we were sold. Joe and Judy are phenomenal hosts and provided a great atmosphere. Would go back just to the e-mail just to see them!

I must say that this was a little of a last minute get away with the wife and we couldn't have been happier. Joe and Judy were the innkeepers and they were as pleasant and welcoming as could possibly be. My hubby and I came to Asheville on a whirlwind tour of the south, and as we were running out of steam after 7 states in 7 days, we needed a recharge. I found Joe and Judy's Rock Laurel had rooms for New Year's Eve and booked the king room. We LOVED our stay! The linens were exquisite, the two-person whirlpool tub was a welcome treat, advice on dinner […] was spot-on, and breakfast was AWESOME! We slept better that night than we did any other night of our trip. They are located about 15 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Asheville, and its more than worth it for the abundant peace and quiet. Rock Laurel may have been a bit off the beaten path but was well worth the trip. It was in a beautiful setting by a delightful rippling brook. The rooms were very large and beautifully decorated. I only had one night to stay at the Rock Laurel B & B, but wished I could have stayed longer. The Blue room was was very large and comfortable. Rock Laurel is only about a 20 minute drive to Asheville / Biltmore, etc.. The hosts were very nice and tried to feed me breakfast like I was at Mama's house! :-)
