Lovely service, and good location. The hotel shuttle/ taxi was very convenient. The only complaint was that hot weather in early spring was not taken into account. The air conditioning was not switched on, on the contrary the heating was still on so the room was very hot.

i used to this hotel always in luxembourg. because this hotel have a lot of merits. 1. not far to main city. use to bus only 5min, or if you want go to just walk, and then you can walk to cross in the park, and then 10 min. the park is very nice, you can take the enough rest in the park. but this hotel have not parking area, so you must park in another […] zone, and then you must walk to hotel 10min . because you will cross to way 2 or 3 times. Spent one night with my girlfriend at this hotel. Slightly out of the happening area(s) of Luxembourg but as the locals say - "everything's close in Luxembourg". Pros: Very friendly & service minded staff. The airline had lost our luggage so we arrived only with our carry ons... and how often does a hotel clerk offer to lend her own make up to a customer? […] My girlfriend was very please with this, as the free toiletries we got due to our missing luggage. OK location, great parking possibilities (which typically is a real drag in Luxembourg). Nice and clean hotel with a nice lounge area/basic bar. Cons: The room was kinda cold and the thermostat didn't seem to agree with us trying to up the temperature. Cold tile floors (unfortunately alsa another Lux thing that I still haven't been ale to figure out. These cold tile floors are everywhere in this country). Overall a very nice stay, very good bang for our buck. Totally recommended! Read more

Grand Hotel ist wirklich nicht angemessen. Keine Aussicht, ausser auf Hauswand zum hinüberlangen. Bar, angeblich 24 Std. geöffnet, um 23.00 h geschlossen. Hässlicher Frühstücksraum, Wechsel von Straßenseiten. Vor allem die Zimmer sind kalt und ungemütlich. Schlechte Matrazen. Frühstücksbuffett ganz ok, kein Highlight.

On the upside, the room was nice and clean and had all the furniture I would need (although a bin for rubbish would have been nice). On the downside: - I specifically picked the hotel partly because it said there was a wireless internet connection in the room. Upon arrival I was told this was not the case. There was only a cabled connection, which forced […] me to sit at the desk working in the uncomfortable chairs. - I had to plug in the TV for myself and do a channelsearch for myself. - It was impossible to regulate the heat of the water in the shower, which would turn colder or warmer during showers. - At checkout, they tried to charge me a significantly higher price than what it said on my hotels.com reservation. I would therefore not choose this hotel again, if I were to visit Luxembourg another time. Read more
