Prior to arrival, I'd made a call to front desk to ask questions. They were just as helpful, pleasant, and courteous in person as they were the day of my call. The deluxe room we reserved was large, well appropriated, and clean. Comfortable bed with lots of fluffy soft pillows. Housekeeper came by around 10 next morning to check if room was ready to clean, since we were not ready to leave, she instead asked if we needed more coffee or other supplies. We didn't use gym, but was large and inviting. Nice views. Overall, couldn't have been more pleased. Would definitely stay there again.

I booked this hotel while I was on the roa d about an hour away. The pool was empty, men hanging over balcony smoking..starring us up and down as we went to get key, man comes out gives us keysame thing starring....we open door and I about threw up, room was veryy old, smelled like a urinal, spiders and webs. ..... The hotel room had trash in the drawers and condoms in between the mattress and bedsprings (I was checking for bedbugs) The air conditioner did not work very well. The door lock was iffy. This is just what you would expect for the price. I took a chance on it and got what I paid for. The desk was nice and the room was pretty clean. The blanket on the bed was not ( fortunately it was warm enough to do with out). The bed was horribly uncomfortable thin mattress and hard as a rock and the door had been busted down and repaired ( kinda ) a dozen times. Pool was unusable (no water).

There is nothing fancy about this hotel. But for having a place to sleep and shower it is just fine. If you are not spending much time at the hotel its worth every penny.

Reminded me of trips I took across country when I was a kid. My room was very comfortable. This is an older motel, and downtown Redding is not that great, but if youre in town and need a place to spend the night, this is a pretty good low cost option.

chose this for a cheap place to stay for a few hours while waiting for my early morning Amtrak train. Does provide microwave and small fridge. Clean with just the basics. The heating system clogged up my sinuses....don't think they clean the vents often. There are other places not as close...but for a competitive price.

Hotel is in a slightly less safe area, no laundry facilities, room had new appliciances, bathroom needed some attention to make it clean and attractive. Hotel does provide free internet.. No free breakfast.

I enjoy old movies from the 50's and 60's which is a good thing since I was taken back to that era as soon as I walked into my room. Dark wood paneling on the wall, fake gingerbread moulding, vintage bedroom set. But the room was clean and had a microwave and mini-fridge (convenient if staying for more than a day). The walls were very thin and we had […] no trouble hearing the movie on our neighbors TV. I had to walk across the street to another hotel for a soda. Our hotel had plenty of parking and is conveniently located off of Market and Hwy 44. While it would not be my first choice, I would stay here again if the rate was right. Read more
