"NIce and easy"
Definitely value for money but don't expect too much. The staff is young and very courteous. The lift is very modern looking but not the most technologically advanced, you need to keep the button pressed at all time or it stops in the middle of the trip. Breakfast buffet can definitely be improved. Nice bar and lounge area Parking nearby can be a challenge […] at times and will cost you 5 Euro in parking tickets that you can purchase at the machine at the end of the road (only until 24:00, it turns off automatically and turns on again only at 8:00 the day after) I didn't eat there, but the food looked and smelled great Bathroom is surprisingly big in relation to the size of the room Overall very clean, great view from the terace and i will be back for sure Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"amazing view from the terrace"
They must have recently renovated it, it looked great inside and out. it is a good 10 minute walk from the station and a little bit hidden. it is near a few football courts too. the highlight was the awesome view from the terrace, they have laid out patio furniture for you to hangout and have a drink too. definitely will stay longer next time. we had […] the private room w/ bath. Great value!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Nice hostel with beautiful view, a bit of walking to train station. One min point is that the hostel has poor internet connection. During my stay ( 4 nights), WiFi didn't work most of the time! Maybe it's better to write that there is NO internet in the property.
This hostel was great. The facilities were clean, modern and comfortable. But on the shelf which is above the bed, there was some dust. And the location of this hostel is a little bit uncomfortable to go other place like down town of Sorrento and Amalfi coasts.(The sita bus comes to st.angelo too, but because of the time, it is very hard to take the […] bus.) Outside of that, everything was good. Especially the croissant for the breakfast was very nice... Yummy!! If you walk opposite side of sorrento, you can also see the beautiful view.
"Very nice environment!"
one station away from Sorrento station. Good environment, very quite. Good hotel, more than a hostel!! will 100% recommend!
"SEVEN Hostel Sorrento - Per Giovanissimi"
Non adatto a coppie over "Xnta". In definitiva ci tornerei Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good hostel - awful residents!"
09/15/14 SallyRoseC New Orleans, Louisiana, United States
This was a pretty cool hostel in our book. The facilities were pretty nice although the bathrooms were like dorm/locker room style. The rooftop was nice as well as the solarium downstairs. There's a bar too which is nice, with a happy hour (literally one hour). Staff was okay at best. The worst part about this place was the other people who choose to stay. There were very young, immature people there. They partied very late and were sloppy and messy. If you're young and up for some long nights, I say go for it!
"Hostel or hotel?"
09/15/14 Simon C Reading, United Kingdom
The only things here that tell you Seven Hostel is, in fact, not a hotel but a hostel, are the dorm bedrooms and communal bathrooms. Aside from that, it feels just like a hotel. Incredibly difficult to find in town, with no signposts, one may have difficulty getting to the hostel. But once one does, they will find that the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Aside from the morning receptionist: who does not speak much English and reminded me somewhat of Manuel from Fawlty Towers. Location isn't great; whilst it is near Sorrento and the sea, it takes nearly 2 hours on the Circumvesuviana to get there from Naples, and about forty minutes from Pompeii. Saint'Agnello is slightly out-of-the-way, and the Circumvesuviana trains as a rule of thumb are generally incredibly busy, noisy, hot, and clackety. Good luck finding seats, no matter what time of day you travel. Opposite the hostel is a sports field, on which celebrations and parties are regularly held. So with the window open, noise will unfortunately leak into the room. Fortunately, the rooms are air-conditioned so this did not present too much of a problem. I also think there must be a hospital nearby, as ambulance sirens could be heard outside several times during the night. The bar and kitchen are open most of the night, and the food is pretty good: both the pizzas and pastas. The rooms are interestingly named, I found myself in "Sun". The balcony overlooking the terrace is a nice feature, and the hostel is beautifully decorated. The bathrooms are large, but an annoying feature is that the glass shower doors, in the communal bathroom, were completely see-through, unless one turns on the shower for a while beforehand and lets it steam up. Overall - a very nice hostel. Despite some minor grievances, I would certainly return here.

Seven was great, any such a huge place. I'm not normally a breakfast eater, but had a few nibbles as i couldn't say no to the spread put out. Had two great nights out here with the others from my room. Rooms were clean and slept well each night / morning when i finally laid down. Check in was a breeze as i was tired and hot after missing my train. Keep the good work up.

The best hostel we stayed in during our travels through Europe. The 8 bed dorm was large and spacious with good air conditioning, comfy bed and a light and power socket at each bed. The shared showers were also of good quality. The bar and restaurant area was great with tasty food around the 5€ mark. There is also a rooftop terrace that is one of the best and largest I have seen. The views from up there are excellent. The owner of the hostel was extremely hands on, friendly and hospitable. More hostels throughout Europe should take a leaf out of his book!

We have been there for two days in june 2014 with my girlfriend. Unfortunately, we had bedbugs in our room and my girlfriend got bitten a lot... They told us they would clean the room, but there were still bed bugs after the cleaning... However, the place is amazing and the price is cheap. We know other travelers who went there and had no problems, so just be careful and watch you rooms carefully.
"Clean hostel, basically a hotel"
08/15/14 Jennifer A
Seven Hostel feels like a hotel. It's very large. The free breakfast was just croissants, coffee, and juice but the croissants are good with Nutella! We had the pizza from the bar and it was not good. Can get better, cheaper pizza elsewhere. Each bed has a large locker, light and outlet. The air conditioning worked VERY well. The room is very spacious and the beds very comfortable. It is a 25 minute walk to Sorrento but only 10 minutes from the train station. Lots of good restaurants around the area, supermarket near the train station. Very happy with our stay and would recommend to others!

This hostel was perfect for what we needed. It was close to Sorrento for day trips and easy to get to Naples also. The rooms were big and clean and staying in a 10 bed dorm wasn't an issue at all. The staff were very friendly and informative and gave great suggestions for restaurants (even though they had their own.) Would definitely recommend this hostel.
"Best hostel we've ever stayed in!"
07/22/14 h0nest_critique Cairns, Australia
My fiancé and I are backpacking through Europe for 12 months on a tight budget. Our review below is an indication of the experience we had at the Seven Hostel in Sant Agnello. We stayed in a 10 bed dorm with shared bathrooms for 8 nights. Pros - Atmosphere. This place has an incredible vibe and is so much fun to be in. It is a 5 star hostel. Definitely the best we have ever experienced. - Price. We booked 2-3 weeks in advance (through Hostelworld) and managed to score dorm beds for €15-17 per night each. That is a great price! We've stayed in quite a few hostels throughout Europe & most are considerably more expensive than this. - Location. The hostel is situated right beside an old church about a 5-10 minute walk from the Sant Agnello train station, that's 1 stop before Sorrento. We loved the small town atmosphere of Sant Agnello. Sorrento, Positano & Amalfi were beautiful in their own way, but at the end of the day, small adorable Sant Agnello was the perfect place to unwind and relax. If you want to go into Sorrento, it's only a 20 minute walk along the main road, or you can jump on the train & it takes 1 minute. - Restaurant / Breakfast. Wow! They have their own restaurant beside the down stairs common area & the meals are priced to suit a backpackers budget. My fiancé ordered pizza most nights for only €5. Because I'm a cealiac, the only thing I could order off the menu was the Caprese salad, but that was quite nice as well & only €5 too! Davide (the owner) recommended a restaurant in Sorrento for gluten free pizza, called Restaurant Tasso. They made the BEST pizza I have ever had! Get there if you can. Breakfast at the hostel was buffet-style; a range of cereals, accompanied by biscotti and crossiants, coffee, tea & juice. - Air conditioning. Thank goodness for air conditioning! We had ours on every night. You will be so grateful for it if you stay here in summer. - Staff. The people who work at this place obviously over their job. They are always happy and willing to offer advice or print documents to help you know where you're going. If you meet a young Italian man called Davide you will see why the hostel is so successful. He is an absolute gem, never too busy for you. - Facilities. Rooftop terrace, sun lounges under umbrellas, outdoor shower, plush white couches, modern bathroom amenities, huge lockers & a night lamp for every bed. Seven Hostel looks more like a resort, than a hostel. Look at the photos online. Cons - Wifi. The only negative comment I can make of Seven Hostel is that there was sometimes a poor wifi connection in our dorm room. We could always manage to log on, but it was just a little slow at times. The best connection we found was on the white lounges on the bottom floor common area, closest to the staircase. - No kitchen. Technically I would not consider this to be a con, as we knew & accepted that there were no kitchen facilities before we made our booking. It just meant that it was more difficult to stick to our budget, as we usually try to cook our meals to save money. As I wrote earlier though, their restaurant meals are VERY reasonably priced! Summary Okay, so if you've read this far, you've done pretty well! I know I wrote a lot. Because we stayed 8 nights, I felt I needed to be precise (also, I'm on a train to Venice with nothing else to do haha). Basically, if you are looking at Seven Hostel, look no further. You will have an AMAZING time here.

Stayed in this Hostel last week for 4 nights and was one of the nicest and cleanest hostels i stayed in around Italy, not a long walk to Sorrento Centre or one train stop which takes 5 mins! the staff where very helpful and polite even let us drink our own alcohol in their bar, the double room we stayed is we lovely with a balcony looking over the mountains and a sea view in the distance, the roof terrace was lovely especially to watch the sunset bathroom and room very clean and beds where made and clean towels given to us every morning! defiantly recommend to stay here! ****
"Loud Party Hostel"
07/05/14 AnaLaPaz Salem, Oregon
This is a party hostel. If you really love to get drunk and rowdy, then this place is for you. Unfortunately for me, I did not know this before I booked there. It was too loud to sleep, even with ear plugs, until about 3 am. Also, I didn't feel safe there because they never shut or lock the front door. In addition, if you sleep in one of the dorms, you have zero privacy. All the other shared rooms I've stayed in at hostels have had curtains around the beds, but not this place. When I complained about the noise, they said there was nothing they could do. Then, when I had to leave early, they wouldn't give me a refund, even a partial one, because they claimed it wasn't their fault that people were going through the halls, drunk out of thier minds, and yelling until 3 am. Not thier fault? They have a bar and a dance floor in the hostel! They create a party environment, so it's totally thier fault that people party and get loud. I would never stay there again. It's awful!
