"Fantastic art deco building with Beatles history!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 26, 2012
Great location for visiting the numerous sites and attractions of Liverpool / Merseyside whilst being on the outskirts of the city itself. Fabulous building which is immaculately maintained being the old LiverpoolAirport. Staff very pleasant. Only complaint is that you have to pay for Internet service so we found ourselves walking over to Macdonalds on the retail park opposite where it is FREE! If you plan to spend most of your trip in Livedpool City Centre be aware that you would need some transport. Luckily taxis and public transport are readily available.
"Very Convenient and Quiet"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 25, 2012
The stay at the Ramada Encore Crewe was extremely pleasant and quiet. Our rooms were clean too. The hotel is very close to the train station, as it is just down the road, which was very convenient for daily trips to London and Chester. It is also very close to Manchester too. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for nice, clean hotel that is situated in a quiet surrounding. Crewe itself was a nice little place to visit as well.
"In the heart of the action"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 21, 2012
We were very pleased with the central location of the hotel. There was wonderful shopping and many restaurants right outside our door. The view from our 7th floor apartment was lovely (gigantic floor to ceiling windows). My only complaint would be the size of the bedrooms - it was difficult to find a place for our suitcases in the bedrooms. Everything else was great - we would definitely return!

"what was not pleasant at all"
Dear sirs! The most annoying issue of staying at your hotel -constant smell of burned oil.It seems that the kitchen is below and once you open the window the smell is unberabale. The second issue was breakfasts: too long of a wait.poor lady was alone and it took so much time to be served. last but not least:Breakfast on August 25th - multi use of oil […] we cooking /frying eggs and breqad resulted in nausea and bad feelings, bad aftertaste. Please, consider this seriously.Economy on poor quality cooking doesn't give credit to such a wonderful hotel. My sister were both lucky and unlucky to have been visiting Chester during the hot weather in September. Lucky because it meant we saw everything at it's best but unlucky because we needed to have the windows open in the bedroom and our room was above the kitchen which meant we had the noise of the fans going from 7.15 am to 9.45 pm. Obviously we were […] not in the room for all that time but it did spoil the early evening after we had been out, and hearing the television after we had eaten our eveing meal was virtually impossible until the kitchen closed down. Other than that it ws a very comfortable and enjoyable few days. Read more
"Pied Bull - great city centre location"
Stayed for one night, relaxed and friendly atmoshphere. Used pub as base for a day out in Chester, very enjoyable lots of pubs/bars/wine lounges on offer around Chester. The Pied Bull brews it's own beer and the Bulls Hit went down very well, along with a few more ales on offer...Food was good and it was rounded off with a decent nights sleep and a […] nice breakfast to send us on the way back to the Midlands in the morning! Stayed at the Pied Bull last week and was very pleased with the whole package - fantastic traditional pub surroundings, excellent beer and wonderful food. Staff friendly and helpful. Looking forward to returning in the near future.
