It worked out perfectly, the staff was very friendly, the room was clean and a good size for a family of 4 (2 queen beds). Once the renovations are complete (which didn't interfere) it will be even better.

"Great value"
If you're anywhere near the Champagne region, or passing on the A4 or A26 freeways, try this place for a night or two. Superb dinner at a good price (the hotel was started by local foodie farmers) and swimming-pool, hot tub and free wi-fi. Much more than a motel, but all the convenience of one. "Close to motorway network"
The room was clean, tidy and comfortable. I would have prefered to have a bath and shower rather than just a bath but other than that it was ideal for what we wanted. Our evening meal was fabulous and much better quality that expected. We will definately stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great position for overnight stay."
Comfortable and convenient hotel situated not far from autoroute but equally close to places of interest. Friendly staff and fabulous food. "A Hotel to delight and surprise you"
The minute we drove in through the gates - we just knew it was going to be a good hotel and we certainly were not dissapointed. There are lovely little garden area's with antiques and items of interest. The normally plain boring concrete fence panels were all painted with scenes and flowers - so good they merit a photograph. Then once you walk into […] the hotel - again it is full of wonderful antique items and other items of interest. There is a lovely relaxing area to sit with soft squigy sofa's. THe Dining room is lovely and the food is superb. The area where the rooms are is covered as you walk to your room, with an open area of lovely garden in the centre which is open. "Excellent hotel for dinning experience"
I used this hotel as a stop over and selected it because of previous reviews. The room we booked was the family room which had a seperate twin bedded bedroom which was situated upstairs from the main bedroom, the upstairs room did not have any windows but was pleasantly decorated and had it's own TV and air conditioning, the only slight drawback is […] that both rooms shared the one shower room and separate toilet. The shower room had a quirky arrangement of saloon style doors with no locks and hardly any privacy! The downstairs double room overlooked the entrance to the hotel but was clean, quiet and comfortable. The hotel itself had lots of character and was very clean, the reception staff spoke English and were friendly. We had an evening meal in the restaurant and was very impressed with the whole experience, the food and the friendliness of the staff were second to none. The location of the hotel is on the outskirts of a small village and was easy enough to find from the motorway, the nearest large town is Chalons-en- Champagne which is a short drive away and during mid August is near enough a ghost town. In summary this is a very pleasant hotel to stay at but the area does not offer a lot for a prolonged stay, I would love to stay later in the year to sample the champagne truffles and see the hotel's truffle hunting dog in action - "he seemed to spend most of his time sleeping in the doorway whilst we were there". "Lovely hotel and excellent food!"

The hotel is well signposted and easily accessible from the motorway junction. It is an attractive building with a lovely ambience and staff who were friendly, helpful and spoke English. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. It faced onto a central courtyard that had trees, shrubs and garden furniture; it was a little oasis that also ensured […] rooms were not directly overlooked. The food in the restaurant was excellent. I would advise booking in advance; it is a popular venue and we only managed to secure a table when a booking did n't show. On Sundays lunch is served between 12 noon and 1.30 and both the restaurant and bar close at 4.30. "Half way stop to Calais"
I chose this hotel because it broke up my journey from the Italian Lakes, room was comfortable and clean. However I checked in on a Sunday night and the restaurant was closed. Well the location was central to the region, staff very friendly and helpful. Room was modern spacious and comfortable, bar area great. "Excellent family rooms"
The hotel appeared to be recently renovated with everything new, clean and in perfect working order. The staff were friendly, helpfull and polite and even spoke English (which you cannot always expect in France). The best thing though was the family room itself. There are a total of five family rooms which consist of a main room downstairs and a smaller […] room upstairs. Our room had a large comftable double bed downstiars with shower room, toilet, telephone and wardrode. The wardrobe space was relatively small but adequate. The upstairs room had two singles beds with bedside tables but no wardrobe and no windows. Both rooms had automatic air conditioning and a flat screen TV. The reception quality of the French and English TV programmes was good but the German channels poor. The location just off the E50 route which runs east-west across France is very practicle. The Hotel is just a few minutes from the motorway, is easy to find and has plenty of parking spaces. The breakfast buffet was quite small in size, but had a good variety on offer - scrambled eggs, bacon, bread rolls, croissants, cooked meats, cheese, müsli etc. We didn't try the restaurant as we arrived late. Det som drar ner betyget var frukosten. Ägg o bacon tog slut, manryckte på axlarna. Logistiken var katastrofal, bl à var kaffet placerat längst in i ett hörn, ca 6 gäster stod hela tiden i kö för att komma in i hörnet, osten var inplastad i ett litet paket och smakade plast.
