Paladim was a great hotel. Well located 15 minutes walk to the strip and beach. With a good number of sun loungers, great staff, good clean pool (a tad on the cold side though), inexpensive meals at the hotel. The hotel is actually ideally located between the strip and the old town and the beach - about a 10 - 15 minute walk to each. It's also located right next door to a big shopping centre with a Mcdonalds a couple of minutes over the road - 10/10 for location. Some people have mentioned taxis - if you need a taxi to take you a 15 minute walk then this […] is not the place for you as that will get very expensive over a week or more (most eateries are in the old town) - the walk to the old town is slightly uphill coming back, but slightly. However, this is not a 4* hotel. The pool area is great (maybe more beds needed), with a nice little snack bar, but the interior of the hotel needs a good refurb - it is very old and tired. The rooms are the same - dated but comfortable. But saying this, I looked at other 4* hotels in the area and they all looked similar! Read more

The hotel is located approx. 15-20min walk from both the old town (turn left) and new town (turn right). There is a supermarket next door which was very handy. Pool was clean but limited sunbeds. There is a nice Pâtisserie just up the road, think it is part of the BellaVista hotel. Views are limited to the road side or pool, no sea views). Access to […] the beach (15-20mins) is quite steep but there are escalators that take you down part of the way and a tourist road train service (about 2.50 euro single trip) that will take you the rest if unable to walk. 1 bedroom apartments are large, studios were also reasonable. I would reccomend a day trip to the Villamoura marina where some of the boat trips go from. The hotel was nice but if I returned I think I would prefer to give the BellaVista a go. Read more

A good choice of apartment, the one bedroom apartments had a good sized bedroom and the lounge / dining area / kitchen was very large and airy. The swimming pool and surrounding areas were kept very clean and we had no problem getting sunbeds each day. Modelo a large supermarket and shopping arcade were literally 2 minutes walk away and most products […] were very reasonably priced. It is a ten minute walk to the "strip" and 10 - 15 minutes walk to the "old Town" . The beach was also a 10-15 minute walk away. I would certainly choose this Hotel/ apartment and would recommend it for both families/ couples. The location is excellent and because of where it is situated it is very quiet at night. Read more

The hotel is perfectly situated between old town and the strip, staff were very friendly and everything was clean. This is by no means a 4 star hotel, the room had most of the amenities but stuff was dated. If you are looking for asthetics this not the place, but for a well situated, clean and friendly place its perfect. Koselig og hjelpsom betjening. Pool området var veldig bra. Rommene gjennomsnittlige. Ca. 15min fra Albufeira sentrum og beach mot vest. Ca 15min fra "The Strip" mot øst. Taxiholdeplass rett utenfor hotellet og koster nesten ingenting

Opplevelsen var bra. De ansatte i resepsjonen var hyggelige og behjelpelige. Palladim Apartmenthotel låg bra plassert. Ca 10-15 min til stranda, ca 15 min til Old Town, og 1 minutt å gå til Albufeira Shoppingsenter. Det låg rett ved siden av. Toget som gikk rett utenfor, kjørte både til Strip, Old Town osv..... De ansatte var veldig hyggelige og behjelpelige med informasjon, vi fikk ikke prøvd maten eller bassenget desverre, siden vi var litt for opptatt med å utforske alt annet i Algarve. Leiligheten vi hadde var helt grei, det var en gang som hadde tre dører, en til badet, en til soverommet og en til kjøkkenet/stua. Badet var fint, dusj i badekar var helt […] greit, air-condition på soverommet og kjøkkenet/stua fungerte som de skulle. Det eneste jeg kan si på leiligheten var de forferdelige sengene. det var rett og slett to enkeltsenger satt ved siden av hverandre, og på en måte rammemadrasser uten rammene som holder madrassene på plass. resultatet var at sengene skled i fra hverandre, og det var umulig for oss (kjærester) å ligge inntil hverandre. leiligheten var fin og helt grei, og kan anbefale den til fire venner som skal ut og reise (sovesofa i stua ga to ekstra sengeplasser), men jeg ville ikke anbefalt det til et kjærestepar som skal på ferie.
