I put the overall rating as a 4 simply because the price seems a bit high for the size of room being a "shared bathroom" situation. I'm not from Australia, much less Sydney, so maybe this is the norm. Also there were some "advertizing" issues. 1) There was advertizing that a round-trip shuttle was provided by the hotel for a fee. NO. The same shuttle is available to everyone from the airport for only a $2 difference. So it's not a hotel shuttle which would save time, but an airport shuttle service which travels a circuit of stops and hotels. 2) Communication as to what's included for breakfast was not quite what I expected, but it was still and acceptable breakfast. Overall, I had a great stay and enjoyed my short stop in this wonderful city.

We were upgraded to a Harbor View. Just beautiful. The only thing we could complain about is....no free wi-fi. A hotel of this quality should be able to offer this for it's guests.

My wife and I stayed here at the end of our honeymoon, and this saved the trip. The rooms with the japanese sliding doors are great. The rooms are extremely spacious and come with a ton of amenities. I didn't know when I booked this room that there would be a full kitchen with a dishwasher, a washer and a dryer, and a balcony. The location is great, but the restaurants in the area are a bit pricey, so just be prepared for that.
Location.
Situated in Manly, Manly Beach House is close to Manly Beach, Curl Curl Beach, and Warringah Mall. Also nearby are Sydney Harbour National Park and Brookvale Oval.

Dining options at the motel include a restaurant. Wireless Internet access is complimentary in public areas. The staff can arrange tour/ticket assistance and tour assistance. Additional amenities include laundry facilities, a garden, and a microwave in the lobby. Onsite parking is complimentary. The property has designated areas for smoking.
