This hotel was disappointing. The directions from the airport are poorly marked. Once you arrive, the staff was unfriendly and not helpful. The room was tiny and the bed was uncomfortable. However, the breakfast was very good.

We needed a place to stay overnight to catch a plane the next morning. The hotel was easy to get to from the Main Train Station via the S5 train, 2 blocks from the Ruemlang station. Easy, free shuttle to the airport.

The hotel is conveniently located within minutes of the Zurich Airport, which made our stay there delightful. It was wonderful that they had a free shuttle, which was easy to find and on time. The hotel staff was friendly and I would certainly stay there again due to the wonderful location, more than anything else.

I would definitely stay at Hotel again. Staff very helpful, but very busy. Came to ski last minute and Hotel was perfect. The free shuttle was fantastic and the Hotel breakfast was good. Zurich is a really expensive place to stay, and this hotel fits a nice niche, providing a fairly no-frills but affordable experience for someone who does not need to get into the city. Breakfast was surprisingly good (I associate Holiday Inn with a lower quality service in the USA). There are really only two criticisms I have. First, the free WiFi was […] limited to 60 minutes per stay, and the 15 minute internet charges after that were high. This is really miserly. I cannot understand why hotels do this today, when the standard for most of the world is unlimited free WiFi during any stay. Second, the location was actually a bit distant from the airport, with a shuttle that ran about every 30 minutes at peak. The train into the city center is equally quick and frequent, so you do not save any time by staying at this airport hotel, although you save the price of the train. The neighborhood is suburban, with no interesting restaurants, shops, or sites. You can get groceries at the Aldi's or Migros just next door, which is actually a pleasant alternative to eating out in Zurich (Swiss chocolates, pates, breads, and beer are both cheap and excellent). The hotel was located close to the airport. The free shuttle service drops you at the airport from where you can take the train to downtown Zurich. There is a grocery store near the hotel and a couple of fast food chains near the hotel.

The hotel is very new and modern. Our room was very nice - an American hotel with European design. The pull-out sofa bed was already set up for the kids when we got into our room. The bathroom was very nice and I loved the clever design of the door. Very quiet. Close to the train station and a big Migros (supermarket) where we got lots of chocolate […] to bring home. The included breakfast was pretty nice as well. The shuttle to the airport was not crowded that morning and we were given tickets for the shuttle at the Check-In to ensure there were enough space. This was my second time at this hotel. Highway repairs cause a long delay to get to the airport which was the reason for this stay. The breakfast is poor and the Internet was not free and expensive.

The personnel were not overly engaging or welcoming. Train station was about a 10 minute walk they had an Airport shuttle. Food was not good AND pricey. I suggest walking down the street to the Park Inn restaurant if you need something other than breakfast. Room was fine for a nights stay.

First off, this hotel is not located "near" the airport. It is at least 10-15 km away and it's located in a very inconveniently. My boyfriend and I spent over an hour trying to find the hotel and when we called the front desk they were unable to offer any clear directions. Parking at the hotel costs 12 francs, but it will likely be overbooked which […] means you have to park 1 km down the street at the Radisson for 20 francs. At least the front desk offered us a free drink voucher for the inconvenience. The hotel is also not located near any nice restaurants - we ended up eating dinner the only place we could find which was a McDonalds. We tried to set up a call for 6AM to wake us for our flight, and we couldn't be sure that it worked. When we called at the front desk, the receptionist said there was no way he could check to make sure it would work in the morning. The breakfast was small and not appetizing at all. Mostly cold cereals and some rolls. Also, note that in the morning when you check out you have to pay 5 francs "city tax" - and the hotel refuses to take Euros. Overall, the staff was incredibly rude to us our entire stay and we were disappointed. Would not recommend. Read more

The SBB train station is just a few minutes walk and a 10 minute train ride takes you to the main station makes it very convenient. The main challenge as noted by others continue to be the shuttle service to and from the hotel. Although the trip time's are published it can become an issue at certain points during the day . Even though they try to have a reservation system in the morning to the airport it can be a bit stressful. During Lunch time there is a significant gap between services and if you are not able to get into the shuttle in the first trip, you could spend upto 2 hrs from airport to hotel for a 10 minute ride. (Taxi's could cost up to 50 Euros). I believe this is the only negative for this hotel. Read more

The stay was fine. The room was nice and clean.The breakfast was lovely! Some detractors: Paying for WiFi? The hotel was understaffed - it took us twenty minutes to check out. All of us had flights to catch, and it was amazing how long it took the one person to check all of us out. The beds were quite uncomfortable!

I stayed here because I wanted to rent a car the next morning. The hotel was expensive. It would have been just as convenient to stay in Zurich and take the train out to the airport as the hotel shuttle. The hotel shuttle took about 20 minutes...not what I was expecting for an airport hotel as far as convenience.
