The hotel is exactly as advertised and rated. It is an older Travelodge that is for the budget traveler. Meets the need when you need to stop for the night. It had been freshly cleaned but still a little dingy due to age of everything. I had a non-smoking room and there was no smoke smell which is a big plus. No complaints. Close to restaurants, etc

We enjoyed our stay. Because the elevator was very slow, we walked down the stairs on a couple occasions, but were alarmed when on one day, the stair case door was locked. Thank goodness there was not a fire.We did enjoy the breakfast in the morning.

The stay at the Royal Motor Inn was a bit frightening. Cars were tagged in the night, they offer free wifi but they can't tell you how to connect. The manager could barely speak English. It was a good location for shopping and restaurants. The amentities were few.

Found the hotel on the internet. TV did not work. Person @ the desk insisted on $10 extra for the dog. He said if the room was clean in the a.m., the $10 would be refunded, so my son & his wife cleaned the room. They refused to refund the $10. The man put the money in his pocket & did not put it in the hotel's till. Sad.

This hotel isn't bad, it just looks too down at the heel to let you be comfortable. Some guests seem to be residents (ie homeless) and the overall feel of the place is scary. They charge for a bucket of ice

The hotel is very old and has not been updated. The carpet was in poor repair The Bathroom sink area was chipped stained and dated. The shower/tub did not look clean. The room had a funny smell. When we opened the frige it gave of an awful odor. There were no shelves. Which was ok because we were afraid to put anything in it. TV reception was poor. […] The mattress looked comfortable but when we pulled back the bedspread we found the sheet to be soiled. The walls were thin and made popping noise as if they might crack.The sheets and towels thin and poor quality. I would not recommend this to anyone. Read more

The Royal Motor Inn is definitely a discount motel. The place is a throwback to a different time period - and the place is worn and dingy. Checking was pleasant, the manager was nice and helpful. I did feel bad about waking him up to check in. I got a key, the old medal style - something to consider when thinking about security. Otherwise, the room […] was warm, it took about an hour for the a/c to get it comfortable. The furniture and furnishings are dated but the beds were comfortable. There are no frills to be had at the Royal Motor. The TV got poor reception and like the whole place - a relic. The good things was the room was clean - the beds and bathroom were clean. And the place did have internet service - free. In the if you are on a budget and are not particular this is a decent place. If you have an affinity for finer things I would avoid this place. For the price I would probably stay their again. Much of the clientele seemed like working folks. I felt ok but would probably not bring the family. Read more

I'm sure there's a market out there but not for this Cowboy. I'd rather sleep with the horses in the trailer than stay here again. This place is up for sale so don't expect much.
