Both my daughtter and I enjoyed the stay at IP Boutique Hotel.

Satisfied with the cleanliness and maintenance of the rooms. Service was fine. Lobby and rooms were well lit and bright with chic finishing. However, the corridor to our room is just too dark with very dim lighting. Reminded me of entering into a pub which is puzzling. It's very inconvenient to maneuver with heavy luggage under such darkness.

Hotel is pretty close to the clubs if that is what you are looking for. However as I stayed on the 5th floor and am a light sleeper, the thumping of the beats in the night can be alittle unbearable. If I was given a higher floor, things would have been better.

The IP boutique hotel might not be to everyone's taste with it's somewhat garish lobby and bright, mirrored rooms, but we really liked it. The hotel room was trendy and funky, and the level of cleanliness was very commendable. The bathroom was modern and had glass (partially frosted) walls, which gave it a nice spacious feel.Hotel staff were friendly and helpful as well. The surrounding neighborhood as safe and the subway station was only a 5-minute walk away.

This is a great modern Hotel in the heart of Seoul shopping area. They welcome international guesses from every part of the world so they speak English. Parking is under the building at a price. Subway is also walking distance from the Hotel and very cheap. No pool or sauna but a nice outside patio which close a bit early. The staff at the IP boutique hotel were always extremely helpful. On arrival we were able to check in 2 hours early, and were given a room upgrade for the 2 nights we booked! Great location for those that like busy international aspect of Seoul. 20 min walk or 2 station hop on Line 6 metro to Korean War Memorial or Museum. Enjoyed the stay...nice hotel....close to many restaurants...near train station. But room wasn't made up on 1 day and toilet flushes automatically throughout the night sometimes. Overall, still enjoyed the stay as location was good. Loved that the airport limo #6030 stops just across the street.

We booked a standard double room for 4 nights in April 2012 but were upgraded to a junior suite during the whole stay. It was a pleasant surprise indeed! The hotel is new and well maintained. there's a club at the basement of the hotel. noise could be heard on as high as 8/F. Luckily we're so exhausted after sightseeing and were not wakened up by the music. But we saw a couple yelled at the frontdesk concierge as they just couldn't sleep because of the noise.

Arrived at the hotel first night and the condition of the room was questionable, at night when went to bed I was in the 9th floor and there is a night club in the basement with no noise isolation in the room nor the night club so the bed was shaking from the base noise, I complained to the staff at the reception and asked to be relocated to a higher […] floor at 5:00 am in the morning, the reception staff were very professional and the apologized that there is no room available and assured me they woul do something about it. In the morning staff arranged a new room in the 11th floor and night club noise were no longer an issue, the room was very clean, and I had the best night sleep, Korean people around town made my trip worthwhile they are very kind people, especially the hotel staff. The night club doesn't belong to the hotel, thats why I can't rate them bad if you ever stay in the hotel ask for room in the higher level and overlooking the back of the hotel to avoid noise from night club and street, the location is great, I didn't have breakfast in the hotel and had breakfast at buggete France it's really good and plenty of good resturant around the area, the hotel within walking distance to itewon station, and market and the bus from and to the hotel stop right outside the hotel. Hotel is good, management nice but the hotel host a disco at the basement which work on Fridays and Saturdays. I stayed on the 8th floor just above the disco and could not sleep untill 5 am, having to wake up at 5:45!. THE SUBWOOFERS WERE SO LOUND THEN THE ENTIRE ROOM WAS VIBRATING. I stayed at the IP Boutique Hotel in Itaewon for 2 weeks. I could not have been more pleased with the experience overall. Check in was straightforward, polite & courteous, my Korean is limited but it wasn't an issue as the staff spoke excellent English. My room was warm, the bed was well made and excellent linen was used. I'm just under 6'2" and it […] was comfortable for me to sleep in. The bathroom was clean and spotless. A couple of bottles of mineral water were provided each day complimentary in the mini-bar which was nice. WiFi was fast and free and a separate access point was used for each floor. Housekeeping came through daily and kept the room in an excellent state in general. I didn't eat in the hotel restaurant during my stay, but it seemed pleasant and generally quite busy with a mix of Korean and Western guests. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Itaewon station on line 6 which gives easy access to the rest of the city and also easy access to the rest of the night-life that Itaewon has to offer. I was given a late-checkout with no extra charge and the staff were happy to hold my bags for a few extra hours until I caught my train back to Incheon International. I would happily stay here again next time I am in Seoul. Read more

Quite an interesting place to stay compared to more traditional hotels. Not in a bad way but definitely caters to the younger crowd. Rooms were comfortable and clean, if a little gaudy. Overall a great choice. Would recommend, easy access via airport bus but confusing. Multiple posts mention bus 6060, we took 6030 and all was well. Seems to be some confusion between tourist information vs the actual bus ticket selling counter. Front desk staff super helpful. Stayed on top floor with bay window, no noise.

This boutique hotel suffers like many with a style over substance problem. A supposed 4 star hotel! The staff are friendly and have decent English language skills, the lobby is very cool, but the rest of the hotel does not meet what I would expect for the price price. The room service menu is unimaginative and inadequate, and service stops at 10 or […] 10:30pm. The room had a comfortable bed and duvet, but with no sheets. The room itself was in need of paint and new carpet which was thoroughly stained. It had the most poorly designed hotel bathroom I have ever seen. No privacy in the shower, toilet or sink if there are two people, a sink that was far too low, no electrical outlet for a shaver next to the mirror, and a designer spout that spatters the crotch of your pants when you wash your hands and no hook for a robe or a bath towel! The hallways were unexplainably dark, almost too dark to read your room number on the door. There is the usual claim to encourage "green" use of bathroom towels, but if you have your laundry done by this hotel, each and every item will be returned in its own plastic bag! (and it will smell like it was never cleaned.The hotel has a lot of singe stating its merits and rewards, but I cannot find any evidence that the IP Boutique deserves them. Read more

I booked this hotel because it was right in front of the airport limousine shuttle service... very easily accessible for a non-Korean speaker's first visit!! However, I soon found out that getting to most of the touristy places (e.g. Dongdaemon, Myeongdong, etc) typically took 2-3 train exchanges (with MANY flights of stairs in between) and up to 30min. […] Not a big deal if you've lots of time to spare and don't mind some exercise. But quite a pain if it's freezing cold out, and you're tired from all day shopping! Oh, not to mention, the subway is a good 5-10min uphill walk on the way home. The staff were really helpful during our stay and were able to speak fluent English. We arrived quite late to the hotel but there were no problems with check-in. (FYI, catch the 6060 bus from Incheon airport and it stops directly opposite the hotel! One hour bus ride for 15,000 won.) I wouldn't recommend eating in the hotel or at the restaurants nearby though as they are quite pricey compared to those in Dongdaemun and Myeongdong. The room was very clean and very modern.
